Or 'Americana IV'
'Confidences' is a superb follow-up to the recent 'Americana' trilogy, featuring 11 of Roch's strongest songs to date. My one criticism would be that the first single, 'Décembre', doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the album. It's a great song, but as this is essentially a country album, the pop ballad 'Décembre' may have been better placed at the end as a bonus track (or perhaps left as a stand-alone single). That aside, 'Confidences' is a great album, whose potential was only hinted at through the one original song on the 'Americana' albums, the brilliant 'Bon Vivant'.
