If you are going to play solo jazz guitar, you had better be good, 'cause there's no place to hide behind any other instruments!

No worries here though - Jim Mullen is arguably the finest jazz guitarist in the whole of the UK!

The only other serious contender that I can think of is Martin Taylor, who also has wonderful technique, but plays in very different styles to Jim.

For my money, JIm Mullen is the BEST, and this is his ONLY album of solo guitar material - which is why I am recommending this so highly!
