I was looking forward to this new album.what a disappointment!Covers off other artists,was hoping for some new songs,even old songs from the other album! Yes,they were sung well and a good backing band,just wanted something original?

Bought this album the other day once you've listened to it once you'll want to hear it again and again, Seals voice is so soulful can't wait to hear what his new album is going to sound like. Some of his songs on this album sound better than the original ones, once you've listened to this album you feel so relaxed.

Wow. What an album. Shame xfactor have released 'wishing on a star'. This version blowed the xfactor one out of the water. Every track is a gem.

While these are all indeed timeless classics, the production is too identical to the originals; in some cases it sounds like he's singing on the original backing track! I would have preferred a fresher interpretation of these classics. Instead Seal has reduced his great voice to performing standards like a wedding singer.... That said, he sounds exactly like the late Teddy Pendergrass on Love TKO!

Always liked Seal but hated cover versions, but this is a different. I love Wishing On A Star as opener and it continues, treat yourself.

Just down loaded this album after listening to 3 songs, seal has just out done himself, I have the last album seal and it's great brings back great memories.

This is not just another covers album but something seriously special. It helps that Seal exudes soul & class and every word he sings is utterly believable. Slick but not overwhelming production and a great choice of songs. Just right for cold winter nights and romantic summer evenings.

Well SEAL is back with another Soul album!

But there is one major factor that is different this time around, and that is Trevor Horn!!

Seal is singing better then ever some 20+ years after his original self titled album SEAL "1991" the like of "Wishing On A Star" & "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" are better than there originals!! and thats just picking a couple of tracks!! I could go on and on. David has done a great job with the tracks that he has produced on Soul II, but it is the tracks that Trevor has done which show the magic between Seal & himself is still a force to be reckoned with.

There is something different with Seal's Vocals when he works with Trevor, you will understand when you hear the tracks they worked on. The best news of all is Seal is working on a new self written album of original material with Trevor producing as we speak!!!

This album is a must for Soul fans and Seal Fans alike! then Next year it will be………... SEAL VII.

I really love good music and very critical of Bad Music, but this is a Superb Musician singing Superb Music. If you like REAL MUSIC then this an Album that will be at the top of your player all the time. mIts haas the classics of the great writers who some of are unfortunately unable to perform theses songs anymore , and if I were one of these guys, I would want Seal to do exactly what he has done with this songs…… CLASSIC THANKS FOR DOING THE SECOND CD….. LOVE THIS MORE THAN RICE AND PEAS.

Silky smooth classics. Like a lot of people I loathe cover versions but this hit the mark on so many levels. The only thing I am cross with? Why finish with Oh Girl? It felt like a little bit of a let down…..

Ignore the Times......If you love soul music, you will love this.
