They don't make bands like this any more

And that is a crying shame. Console yourself by listening to the best musical experience to have come out of the last years of the 20th century. Ian MacKaye is one of those rare musicians who manages to combine prodigious and prolific musicianship with a genuinely alternative and compelling view on the human condition. Never has ethical sounded this brilliant. You need Fugazi in your life.

One of the best bands ever!

Fugazi changed everything, their fusion of angry funk and perfect melody is sublime, just listen! AND I MEAN LISTEN, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!

Privileged in Belfast

One of the best albums that is standing the test of time. Fugazi after recording this album went on to tour Europe and we in Belfast were privilged to catch them live at the Arts College (@1991). Belfast was still in its darker days back then so we felt most priveged. This album carries all the raw energy that was present that day, though the real talent shone through in the control and timing that Fugazi still maintain. Amazing *****

Fantastic!!

This album is music laid bare! The haunting bass riff in Waiting Room kicks up memories of Nine Inch Nails (remembering this album pre dates most if not all Nine Inch Nails material) but the guitar's and vocals are worked like being in a small venue Like the band is trying to work you up from your seat. This whole album is a must have! A spiralling rollercoaster of vocal guitar drums and bass! Each track is different every time you play it.

odd

odd...cos i cant believe that anyone has not reviewed this album. disapointed about the download price....but i contacted dischord who sort of fobbed be off with giving customers freedom of choice blah blah blah. my advice? buy the cd (not from those rip off idiots HMV). pay about 7 quid, its worth it for the words and the couple of bonkers live photos. anyhoo...fugazi dont make duff albums. just buy them all. fugazi will never sell out and thats important. EVERY and i mean EVERY fugazi tune is an essential purchase.
