Just a brilliant piece of music from start to end. The catchy guitar melody on The Things I've Seen to the heart melting chorus on Brains, it just doesn't fail anywhere. In my opinion this is what music should sound like. Hard hitting guitar chords from Mark and big brash vocals to back it up. Would definatly like to see Mark and co live

Warning...it is loud...very loud but in a good way.

BUY THIS ALBUM......Had the pleasure to see TREMONTI live in Edinburgh on the 16th February, and i just have to say that they were awesome. Every track played to perfection and also 2 un-released tracks were also played. I met Mark and the band after the show and they were just amazing. Love this album so much i just cant stop playing it. Fave tracks are:- GIVING UP, LEAVE IT ALONE, BRAINS AND DECAY.

Absolutely brilliant album by Mark Tremonti. It's so good I struggle to find words to describe it but i will give it a go as it has spurred me to write my first review. All i know is that it is the best album I have ever heard. I am a big fan of Alter bridge, and if you are too, i strongly recommend this. Marks guitar riffs and solos are a perfect mix of melody and heaviness. This is a fantastic display of metal with clean vocals which is very impressive as its his first time as a lead vocalist. The lyrical content is top notch too. I literally can't fault this album 10/10. Also Tremonti is amazing live can't wait to see him again and hopefully he will release his second solo album soon!

Well, this is the only review I have left for an album on iTunes since I've had it and surely I've bought dozens, so it goes to show how much I advise people to buy this album! Great stuff from Mark right here, you'll never look back! 👍🎵

Having recently discovered Alter Bridge, a friend reccomended Mark Tremonti's solo to me, and I have to say this album has blown me away. It is the only thing playing on my iPod right now.

This really is a stunning album, there is not a mediocre track on the album, i can't stop listening to it!!

The riffs are amazing and the solos are too. Amazing vocals from Tremonti! My only complaint is that it isn't long enough!

Being a fan of alter bridge for many years I have great respect for the band... After hearing about marks solo project I didn't believe that it could ever be as good as Blackbird... I'm glad to say I have been proven wrong... It is so much better... Mark has combined his playing techniques with powerful vocals to make a perfect album... All of the songs are perfect... Album of the year 10/10

this will fill the gap from AB III to the next Alter Bridge album

Melodies switch between pure crashing metal one minute to soft sweeping sounds & then back again. It works! Perfect recipe!!!!!

Love tremontii he is a legend set of the tracks I think are a little bit of a struggle for his voice but as always the solos as amazing

Tremonti does it again, awesome guitars, amazing songs, all the best sounds from AB & Creed mixed with some of the hardest riffs Tremonti has ever recorded. Class album.....

This album has been a long time coming.. in Tremonti's own words " I had all of these ideas that were just collecting dust. Ideas that would never see the light of day" and it shows much more heavier along lines of Metalingus on Blackbird. His voice is good too. So...if you liked Creed and or Alter Bridge this is a must moment you hear the music on this album you'll know straight away its Mark Tremonti

Amazing album, tremonti always impresses

I'm running out of means by which I can comment on Alter Bridge and Mr Tremonti's already well-documented talents. This man plays and sings with such passion and pleasure for music in and of itself, and hopefully this translates to the listener - it certainly does for me. How anyone can harbour so many talents is a crime. Well done, Mark!

I don't usually listen to metal, but this album is just awesome! For such a great guitarist to have such a good voice is amazing! I bought it because I am a massive AB and Creed fan, and have to say the album grows on you. Such good melodies and the solos are just incredible. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed :)

Epic guitaring, insane drumming and melodic choruses. What more could you want? My favourites are So You're Afraid, Wish You Well, You Waste Your Time and Decay, but every song is incredible.

Being a huge Alter Bridge fan, I couldn't wait for the release of Tremonti's "All I was" and i can honestly say it has exceeded all my expectations. Along with tracks full of rock melodies laced with metal riffs, there is also a softer side with tracks like "New way out" and "The things i've seen"

Tremonti's debut solo album also proves he is also a very capable vocalist as well as a guitar god.

This album is slightly different from Creed / Alter Bridge, but still has Tremonti's signature running right through it.

With the introduction of Garrett Whitlock, the drumming is particularly distinctive on this record, his frequent use of double kick pedals is phenomenal and adds to the intensity of the harder edged tracks like "You waste your time" and "Wish you well"

If you only buy one rock album this year, you will be glad it was this one..........Enjoy.

I've been looking forward to this for a few weeks having followed the twitter feeds and soundbytes and it doesn't disappoint. Fabulous filthy riffs (especially on Brains) for the train ride to to the office. Oh, and the video to 'you waste your time' is worth seeing just for the fret action by the man himself. Alter Bridge vs Metallica....just brilliant

Well the boy has done it again! I've said it before, I don't think this dude can write a bad song! It's a kickass album from start to finish! Guitar work is amazing as usual, but it's the vocals that have surprised me, he's a really good singer. This is right up there with the Alter Bridge albums which is a massive compliment. A must buy for any hard rock / metal fans!

In future generations, Mark Tremonti will be looked upon as one of the greats of his era. 'All I Was' combines his signature sound with a heavier edge than we might expect from AB or Creed, whilst maintaining the great melodies that the man himself states are his centre focus.

Absolute must buy.

Tremonti is god! Great album <3 brilliant!

A very fine cocktail of some of the heaviest riffs Tremonti has written coupled with some of the catchiest melodies and most uplifting choruses.

Some tracks are almost all out metal from start to finish whereas others featured very 'ballad' moments such as New Way Out. Doesn't sound like another Alter Bridge or Creed record, but at the same time Tremonti's signiture sound and writing style is very prominent.

A great solo effort. Explores Mark's heavier influences without sarcrificing melody for brutality.
