I bought this on a whim after reading a review in a newspaper. Now it is on my iPod, on my Mac, in my car, in my head. It just fits whatever mood I am in and makes me happy by the time I've played it through. It is possibly my favourite album in the whole world, even though I have no idea what almost half of it is about!

I came across the track "Senegal Fast Food" while looking for something else, and I was captivated by the song. The artists themselves have an amazing story, and the music is pure, jolly and gorgeous. Everyone who has heard this playing in my house has asked what it was and where they could buy it. Enjoy.

I heard Aamadou and Mariam via Late Junction on BBC Radio 3 - bought the album - simply wonderful music.

This is a fantastic album from Amadou et Mariam and, although not my usual taste, has given me many hours of enjoyment. It's great music to have on in car too! Very well recommended!
