High quality melodic rock/Classic rock
This album is an absolute must for all melodic rock fans with an ear for great songs, great commanding lead Female vocals in the mould of Ann Wilson from Heart and great musicianship especially the guitar work of Tim Manford. has to be one of the best in the genre. My favourites have to be the opening track 'Who stole the innocence 'with its magical harmony vocal lines in the chorus and great arrangement, 'Go where your heart is 'reminds me of eighties era Heart and has a great lead vocal/backing vocal interplay in the verses. 'Secrets 'is an acoustic led ballad that wouldn't be out of place on any Heart album from back in the day. But the production and style of performance is also very current sounding. Then there is the title track Lost Man's Ground that has EPIC written all over it starting in moody acoustic part quickly giving way to a Jimmy Page inspired acoustic riff that reminds me of the Zep classic Kashmir. This gives way to a great guitar riff and massive groove complete with string section and Sue Willetts immense vocal line. Please note this song is across between Within Temptation,Led Zeppelin and Heart . BUY OR DIE!!
