For some this is the defintive Led Zeppelin

The band's first outing was a worldwide sensation, and they never looked back. It opens with what sounds like a conventional, slightly boppy 60s sound, until a minute or so in there is a half beat pause - then a screaming guitar solo that heralds their arrival and arguably the birth of heavy metal. Musically their masterpieces were yet to come, but they never sounded quite the same in subsequent albums, Plant's voice, never this raw and primal, the studio guitar soloes never this visceral. Dazed and Confused is a stand-out track, but the raw emotion and crashing acoustic chords of "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is increasingly impressive on each listening. For many who encountered Led Zeppelin at the very beginning, this was their darkest and greatest achievement.

Nothing can compare

Why waste words on a review? Just listen to the vibe ...... it's pure, it's tough, it's honest, it's nothing short of R&R heaven. Thanks guys, again.

Good

I love this album, some classic songs like 'Good Times Bad Times', 'Babe I'm gonna leave you' and 'Dazed and Confused' but if you think what they did afterwards you might possibly think it is quaint.
