You can never get bored of this album , I play it all the time and it’s a just a 10/10 from me .

If you have never listened to this album ( which there can’t be many people who haven’t ) then give it a go , it’s one of the best albums ever !

I’ve owned this album for 40 years on most formats available and have never tired of it. Masterful musicianship, perfect harmonies and heart wrenching lyrics delivered with emotion.

I was fortunate enough to see Fleetwood Mac live in this classic line up at the end of the 70s. The whole of Rumours was included in their set list ..... It was a magic time and just incredible music. This should be in everyones collection. One of those rare LPs that is absolutely perfect.

I couldn’t find my vinyl copy of Rumours. Turned out my son, now 24, was so impressed with it that he had borrowed it. As I bought it when It came out all those years ago, I decided to borrow it back! It defined my time at university and it is simply wonderful.

One of the greatest albums of all time and this coming from a 19 year old. Hopefully modern bands and singers start to look back at this album as well as similar ones from the same time period and take notes because this is how to make decent music unlike the rubbish we get nowadays. Just a shame music as been poor for a number of years now

This album was released the year after I was born. Growing up I was aware of Fleetwood Mac, seeing some of their performances but never paid a huge amount of attention. A couple of years ago I listened to Rumours in full. I honestly struggle to find a more perfect recording from start to finish. The complex relationships that existed in the band at this time were perfectly captured at the famous Sound City studio. Producing one of the best, if not the best rock album of all time.

When Artists made music album and not singles of today. And a trip down memory lane of my good ol’ teenage years!

Way too young to remember Fleetwood Mac first time round, but having seen them at the O2 last summer and getting a vinyl copy of this album, I can say you have to go a long way to beat this!

Somewhere I have this on vinyl which dates me,but the music stays fresh and brilliant. Must be a top album of all times.Introduced two more generations to this.For some reason 'chains' which I love,hasn't downloaded with the rest of the album .

36 years on and this album is still amazing. Just saw them in the O2 Arena in London and was fortunate enough to have been there when Christine McVie joined them for "Don't Stop"....the ride continues

This album has everything. Great songs, great story and great cover. Dreams makes me cry! Must listen. I'm 13 and I have tried my very hardest to get all my stupid one direction loving peers to listen to this. I have converted many. That is the power of great music

To my mind the best album Fleetwood Mac have made. In fact it is probably one of the finest albums of all time. I still have my original vinyl recording as well as cassette and cd. But the iPod version will get the most play.

This album is worth getting just for 'The Chain'. Needless to say that all the other tracks are brilliant. The lyrics are powerful and like nothing else I've ever heard. The way it has been written and produced is just amazing. Get this album now.

Rumours is one of the most passionate and heart wretching albums you ever gonna hear for a while. Stevie Nicks's haunting vocals, beautiful guitar work from Lindsey Buckingham and lyrics that resembles guilt, isolation and hate of breaking up. With songs like Gold Dust Woman and Dreams reveals to us that Nicks was taking drugs heavily and how it makes such a spiritual and dreamy sound that sounds amazing while other songs like Don't Stop and Go Your Own Way shows that breaking up can bring people together and how you can move on and depend on someone else.

This has been one of my all time favourites since it was first released (yes, I'm that old). However, it is not true that no one makes music like this any more - it is just that it tends to be hidden in the Country Music section. Try Tornado by Little Big Town.

I'm 17, the music people my age listen to is ridiculous. I'm so glad I was brought up well and introduced to the genius creations of the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Frank Sinatra, The Stranglers and so on.

This album is my favourite of all time, you should read up on its story too to fully appreciate it!

One of the most ground breaking albums of all time. Fleetwood Mac went from a classic R & B band of the Sixties and early Seventies. Peter Green left a legacy of music that will stand alongside anything else from that or any other era.

The voice of Christine Perfect rivals her contemporaries with songs like " I would rather go blind" delivered with such depth and feeling to push artists of the talent like Billie Holiday.

When Stevie Nicks and Lyndsey Buckingham joined they transformed the group into a powerhouse of emotion and feelings stripped bare. The relationships within the group were fragile and on the constantly on the brink of collapse.

The album invited the world to see what was happening. If we are to be judged on results and how, if indeed, the world has been changed by our efforts, then this album changed the whole face of popular music.

After that, TUSK, Tango in the Night and the rest is history.

I was born in 1978 so wasn't here for the original release. For me a truly amazing album that I heard throughout my childhood via other family members. To me it still sounds amazing today and with all the various artists that have come and gone this still is AMAZING. With an enormous iTunes collection and circa 500 CDs this is one album that never seems to make it back to the shelf.

Honest re-release some of the tracks today and it'll climb the charts and highlight how much xfactor rubbish there is out there. This is real music.

'The chain' is the best song from this album. the ending bit of that song is the formula 1 theme!

I'm 16 and I have to say fleetwood mac have always been one of my favourites, they are brilliant and this album is amazing, just sad I wasn't around when this first came out, luckily enough I'm having the privilege to go see them on their tour. everyone needs to support fleetwood mac and buy all the albums, trust me you will not regret it.

I wasn't around until after this album was released but it is my belief that if the music needs to get through it will no matter how many years after its release. Song after song this record just eats away into your soul. There are so many reasons why this will remain one of the greatest records of all time, from pain drenched tones of Buckingham on Go Your Own Way, to the beautiful harmonies on Dreams. Mick Fleetwood really brings it home on the drums and with 'The Chain' they give you the best baseline ever! I freaking love this album and find something new to love with every listen, my favourite song changes everytime too. Buy it, you won't regret it!

I was born in 72 and missed this the first time round. Now after 20+ years I have finally gave it a proper listen. I cannot stop playing it. My daughter love it too. Just goes to show good music always shine through.
