I have only recently in the last year or 2 got into Dubstep music and i have to say this album is brilliant. It's nice to hear some some music from one of the pioneers of such a huge genre and hear how much he has developed since his early recordings. It's refreshing to hear some classic inspired Dubstep taken back to it's bare bones and executed in such tasteful way, especially at a time when this genre is having something of an identity crisis! A little tip though, to feel the full force of this album, DEFINITELY GET SOME DECENT SPEAKERS!

I have to admit I am quite disappointed with this. Considering it's taken so long to come out I was expecting better. A couple of the songs are great but the rest are just average at most.

I had been waiting for this album for sooo long.. pushed back release date over and over again.

I hate to say it but i am disappointed at the end result. There are too many tracks where the vocals simply do not compliment the production (which is still good) but certainly not Benga at his best. The vocals unfortunately deters away from what Benga is good at.

I hope he comes through with something a little more thought out for an album release next time.

Looks like I'll be playing 'Diary of an Afro Warrior' until then….

As I listen to track by track I recognise one instant thing, the HIGH quality of the production this is definitely a summer album with bangers like Forefathers that see Kano return to his unmistakable flow and SMILE that put you in festival mode, not a hard, tear out dubby album just a GREAT forward think album. Well done

Im not joking when i say every song is absolute class. With most Albums theres usually 3 or 4 duff tracks. But with this there isn't, every one is a head bouncer!

If you're a fan of Benga, or even if you are just into dance/electronic music in general, then this album will not disappoint!

After listening to the album stream, I knew I had to get it. Tunes are infectious and sound perfect for summer!
