Boney James' recent album The Beat mixes together latin and r n b influences for a highly addictive and satisfying playlist. I was fortunate to watch him perform at Union chapel London this April and after nabbing a highly coveted signed copy - I play these tunes back to back on a daily basis - while cooking, driving, when I am sad, when I am happy, ALL THE TIME!

All are songs are fantastic but my iTunes is picking up high repeated listens with the emotive and smooth ‘Sunset boulevard’, the collaboration with Rick Braun for the can’t help but shimmy your hips ‘Batucada’ (Sir, you do Sergio Mendes proud), ‘Maker of love’ has decidedly become my engagement song for the fiancé I am yet to meet and ‘Powerhouse’ is just that - a power house.

Boney James thank you yet again for putting together a fresh album where every piece is a soulful delight.

People! get the album I promise you will not be disappointed .

I love this album, but the song The Beat will not download, can anyone explain why?
