Never really heard this guy before but wow.

It's definitely up there with 'Ambition'. After the commercial success of Wale's second album I was hooked and as a fan I was left demanding more, then 2 years later 'The Gifted' comes out and it does not disappoint, with great and catchy songs like '88' and 'Sunshine' it's destined to do well, so do your ears a favour and purchase this amazing piece of hip hop history!

Very good album

Wale relies too heavily on features but the album does have some good songs. Nothing spectacular but its a solid rap album. IMO better than Yeezus (not exactly hard) but not as good as Born Sinner.

Production is on point. Album is very solid, a lot better than Ambition.

This album is a product of hard work and dedication. Wale poured his soul into this and focused on making the music count rather than the usual fanfare of guest rappers and trying to outrhyme everybody else. He stuck to the script in making music he was happy with and true music fans love and appreciate.
