Mesut's version of Burdah is the best I have heard

This is a hidden gem in the world of islamic nasheeds. You can sense a hint of Sami Yusuf in his songs, so if you like My Ummah & Al Muallim, you'll definitely like this. Finally, this rendition of Burdah is beautiful. Excellent, and I can't wait for more from Mesut.

I got into Sami Yusuf after hearing his other album "My Ummah" which was very good but I have to say this album is worth 5 stars where my ummah is worth 4. I have just noticed that Sami Yusuf did not actually create all these songs so some of the praise has to go to the excellent voice of Mesut Kurtis. Particular highlights include "Burdah" which has a very catchy rythmn and is a song that can be played over and over. To cut to the chase, this album is definitely worth the £6.32 that I bought it for!
