Pure class

This album i cannot big up enough. London elektricity have done it again. Wicked tunage with wicked vocals. All in all a cracking album so get it now. If u a dnb head then u won't regret it. Can't wait for their next album. Does anyone know when that will be please?

Liquid Funk

Re every other reviewer: Damn Right - this album is immense. So damn funky, similar to High Contrast, but with a more organic sound. Can't recommend highly enough.

something different for the dnb crowd

fans of dark and dirty dnb will admittedly be left wanting, but for hardened followers of the genre and newcomers alike this provides something realling interesting. fusing drum n bass with a house sensibility, the soaring vocals which are prevalent on this release combine with some incredibly tasty beats to create what seems to be a rare occurrence: truly uplifting drum n bass.

Great album, cack-a-lack title

The contents of this album are stunning. I went to see them in Kendal [ oop Norf ] and that blew me away. DnB tends to be labelled with the 'disposable' tag, with people stroking their chins and twiddling their thumbs waiting for its demise, but output like this pushes the genre that bit further and opens it up to an ever expanding audience of converts. It's just a shame the title and cover art is so off-putting. Nothing against Tony, looking a fine and dapper gent, but 'Power Ballads'? I'm sure it was supposed to have a tongue-in-cheek-ness to it but try turning anyone on to the album : "Have you heard 'Power Ballads?" ... Best off just calling it 'the new London Elektricity album' and you can avoid sounding like a Bonnie Tyler fan.

120 bpm and more

this is more than d&b, a great album. It's winter and wet, with rain running down the window - need picking up............. try : Remember the Future, Vapour Trails or Far from the Shadows, you'll be back for the rest of this album before you know it.

Hitting the bass

This album is really does hit the beats to the massive styling sounds that surround each and every tune on this album. Colman and his talanted team are fastly becoming drum 'n' bass legands in the making that will be played at partys in a long time to come. The different melodys at 170 beats per min will blow you away yet again.

the flava in ya ear

any drum n bassist is gonna feel this little lady . loving the way tony coleman and the guys touch down on all bases .leanne carroll is for me one of the best jazz vocalists around .these guys have certainly got there own sound ,diggin far from the shadows the house rifts just take it onwards, remember the future warms me cockles........... hospital does it again
...... buy the album sit back and listen to the whole thing , complete artist albums are few and far between in d&b .
liquid forever baby
