ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
This album, like all her albums, is fantastic, I've just re-discovered Tracy Chapman, loving her, the songs are all different and all tell a story!

tracy chapman moving with the times
Where You Live is another step into modernity for Chapman(the first really being Let It Rain) and its a confident one. I always felt like some of Chapman's tracks, good as they were didnt give her voice the the platform it deserved, the kind that was so evident in early songs such as the accapella 'Behind the Wall'. In this album, Chapman takes her unique style,incisive lyrics and her stunning, textured voice and weaves it amongst modern guitars and acoustic ('live' if you will) drums, that give her tracks a fresh and intimate feel missing from pre-Let It Rain work. One of her most private,beautiful and appealing albums to date.
