No hits here, just beautiful, emotional music. Put it on repeat and it will soon grab you and take you with it.

Good
Sounds to much like gorillaz, I know it's not gorillaz it's just the singer

Simple and Thought Provoking
This is a magical and beautiful look into the soul and heart of Damon Albarn.
Atmospheric but minimal soundscapes.
I wasn’t a fan of Blur but this is sublime and spine chillingly
beautiful.

Loved it
Not usually my cup of tea, but the melancholy is beautifully offset with the electronic elements in the "moody" tracks. Hostiles is a personal favourite, and The Selfish Giant. Not necessarily one for blur fans, just give it a try and see how you go.

Brilliance
If you didnt know already how great a musician and songwriter Damon Albarn is, this album really confirms it. A real grower album. Been Listening to Damon Albarn as a fellow Colchestonion (someone who lived in Colchester) all the way from Blur through to his later work ; Mali Music, The Good the bad and the queen, Gorillaz etc, and cant wait to hear what he does in the future. Check out the Ravenous Soundtrack he did with Michael Nyman, the end titles track is permanently in my Albarn playlist and is such an addictive and simple song with layered instrumentation. How about his film score 101 Reykjavik. Just Brilliant.

Addicted
After first listen I was a little disappointed but after a few plays I have become addicted. Very melodic with different influences throughout. Mr Tembo is a great melodic and inspirational song.

GPMCASCADE
A very good companion-piece to 'The Good The Bad & The Queen' in it's down-tempo mood and feel. The subject matter of 'Hollow Ponds' strikes a chord with me as I know the area which he is referring to. A quiet triumph from a master song-writer.

2 Good Songs
My suggestion would be to buy Heavy Seas of Love and Mr Tembo, the rest of the album is nothing special. Bit dissappointing really.

Shentyloaf
Ignore Patroller's three star review. If he can't count that there's twelve songs on an album and not eight then he shouldn't be allowed to review something.
Beautiful little album this. Nothing truly outstanding, but does it's job of taking you away from the world for a while.

Relaxing and uplifting
Imagine being on a quiet train carriage without a care in the world just looking out of the window.

Rip off price
Its a good album but the 8.99 price tag for what is, essentially, eight songs, is a complete rip-off!
Probably purposefully designed to force people to buy the special edition. Or am I just being cynical? You decide!

Awesome Album
Just a great album, best solo work yet! Most buy.

A must buy
A really nice, laid back album. Possibly his best work so far!
