I heard this version of the hobbit when I was little and became obsessed with the book and lord of the rings. I have a version on tape (painstakingly found by my husband as a present) but I'm afraid of playing it in case the tape player eats it!! To have it digitally is wonderful! Nicol williamson is by far the best narrator of the hobbit by far, and if the films had been made earlier he would have made a great gandalf!
