A recent edition of Radio 6 Music's Round Table bought Maribou State to my attention. I purchased Portraits purely on hearing the review of Midas. I wasn't disappointed, it's real jewel of an album. Quite a find.

Only had one listen and I can tell this is going to be my favourite new music for months to come. Inspiring.

Just like the previous reviewer, I too listened to the album via Hypem. This is truly a gorgeous album. It cannot go un-noticed, deserves a lot of attention and praise. Really really great stuff!

The album is currently available to preview at Hype Machine and it’s truly beautiful from beginning to end. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I was this excited for an album. Stunning!
