Brilliant album it is rare to hear good music like that

This is a very good effort. I'd have given it four-and-a-half stars had the option been available. Leon Bridges and the musicians have created an album of human warmth and feeling with living, breathing instruments. This is not a product of a sterile laboratory; this is an organic studio production. Even the drums have warmth: that unique sound of contact with a drum skin. I hope the Reverend Al Green has been listening; I'm sure he'd appreciate the natural vocal talent of Mr Bridges. Ideal Sunday listening.

smooth sailin is the one! The high tempo stuff suits his style

I can't stop playing this album, it's brilliant. He's got a superb soulful voice just like the legends of days gone by. Great music, I really hope he gets all the recognition he deserves. If you like classic Soul/R&B you will love this.

He has such a soulful voice, which takes you back to the greats; Sam Cooke, Etta James; Al Green. It's great to see the 60s soul music make a comeback with such brilliant talent from Leon Bridges.

From what I've heard so far, Leon Bridges has great potential, and I just love the retro feel to it. It's a true soul sound, and I adore it!
