This EP proves Bonnie McKee as a great pop artist, as well as also being known for writing for the likes of Katy Perry, Britney and Kesha, to name but a few. Following on from those songs she’s co-written over the years, I kind of sensed it coming from her since late last year that she could provide some killer vocals (check out Afroki by Afrojack and Steve Aoki, which she also provided vocals for, and see what I mean). Anyway, it may be a short and sweet EP, but every track is a good ‘un, especially the title track which shows off the feistiness inside of her, and also the powerful and mighty Wasted Youth. In summing up, I’m happy to see she kept these tracks for herself, as they’re all more than worth a listen if you love your pop!

the whole EP is absolutely pure pop but Bombastic is my favourite!

An interesting sound that I wasn't expecting from Bonnie. After listening to her co-writes, such as Last Friday Night and California Gurls by Katy Perry, I was expecting a more light synth driven pop with perhaps a bit of bubblegum. The Bombastic EP, however, shows a more ferocious side to Bonnie as she displays an electro rock edge throughout the song whilst still maintaining an excellent splash of pop. I'm impressed. The only downside is that I think the title track is the weaker track in comparison to its neighbours Wasted Youth and I Want It All.

This song is flawless and so is she, I can't wait for this ep to drop its gonna be so good I love Bonnie so much
