TOTAL RAP CRAP

I have Real Reggae albums dating back to the early 1970's from an Uncles collection and love most of the tracks. This is NOT Reggae it is Rap Crap.
It certainly is NOT DANCE MUSIC - Real
Reggae is great to dance to, this isn't.
THUMBS DOWN 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🙀

Check the playlist first

Wish I hadn't bought it now. Poor music quality and poor choice of supposed 'Dance Hall' songs

No dancehall here

Where are major dancehall artists such as Mavado (only one of his unknown songs), Popcaan, Aidonia, Konshens, Gaza Slim, Spice, Demarco and more importantly where is Vybz Kartel? And I hardly call fuse ODG and OMI dancehall. Very disappointing who ever put this together clearly knew nothing about dancehall or reggae and most of these songs are so typical you find most of these songs in nearly every reggae collection cd this album has nothing to do with dancehall

….

The old songs have clearly been very poorly mastered to ensure that they're the same volume of the newer stuff, or so that all the songs are the same level and they sound AWFUL! How the hell have so many people not noticed how crap they sound?! They're so distorted?!?!

Wow!!

It for people who enjoy reggae and most of the tunes on it are big tunes people rated this 1 star don't know real reggae reggae tunes accept the new ones !!!! Where's Garnett silk and coco tea, Archie wonder, beres Hammond, jigsy king, Tony rebel, plus way more real big artists people need to search for the artist to find the real reggae tunes

Dancehall really?

The album is a mixture so to use the title dancehall is very misleading especially in public format. The identity sadly lost with various tracks from fuse odg to Rupee so many more artist missing yet again another let down 👎

Full Marks But ...

I already have the bulk of these tracks in my collection digitally, there are a few that I don't have that I may purchase separately. Every big name in Jamaica is included as well as ODG (Africa) and Gentleman (Germany and Apache Indian (UK) and Collie Budz (Bahamas) so it is the sum of dancehall going back over the last 30 years. This is good for the youngers who are building up their reggae collection. It's lovely to see a reggae album at no.1 on iTunes as it makes me proud as a UK Jamaican.

Rip-off

Looking at the tracklist this album was made purely on the back of that awful Cheerleader song... That is the only recent song, the rest are years, decades old
