Piccolo is a fun game. A friend of mine purchased the other game modes, which are far better than Getting Started. I was planning on buying a few of the game modes myself, only to find out that there is a massive subscription fee that was added after my friend bought the game modes. I’d happily buy the game modes if they were a one-off payment.

Since they moved to an extortionate subscription model I have not been able to restore my previous purchase of all of the game modes. I made a one time purchase to get all of the game modes I should still be entitled to what I paid for not have it removed because you updated how you charge people for these game modes. Good luck getting people to continue using this now that your prices are a joke.

Make sure when you download you don’t unknowingly pay a weekly contract. Absolute scam, they should advise you and make it clear of what you’re signing up for before you pay! Awful, especially during times like these you shouldn’t trick people into paying ridiculous money for a silly game. Do better.

We started the free trial thinking that the cost of £4.50 a week was a huge cost but it might be good but it was a terrible game. Not even really a game but just random questions that everyone could come up with themselves. Not a great game at all and especially if you ended up paying £20 a month for it!!

Used to be the perfect game!
Been using this as a go-to drinking game for years but in the recent update they’ve changed the (x) amount of sips to “penalty”. There’s no numerical penalties anymore and I feel it ruins the pace of the game as also takes away the risk reward for doing certain penalties.

I downloaded the app for free and when I opened it it was all fine and everything was working ok. A couple days later I opened it again and it was exactly the same nothing came up about starting a subscription and there was no Apple Pay thing that came up at the bottom. I then noticed an email from Apple saying I had subscribed and it had taken £4.49 out of my account. I did not authorise this and before you think “it’s a drinking game, are you sure you weren’t drunk?” No I only opened it to have a look at what it was like to see if it was worth playing that weekend with a couple mates.

Developers ruined the game with subscriptions
I’ve been using this game with friends for over three years and I loved it! It was a lot of fun and worth paying £8 for the premium features.
I started the game up again only to see that they’re now charging £4 a week or £13 a month which gave me a bigger laugh than the game ever has.
I can’t say I’ll ever be using this game again and I can’t justify the price for a few hours of drinking games every once in a while.

Bought this app a few months ago and used it a couple of times, pretty decent. However, I was confused as to why £4.49 was being taken out of my account every week, it turns out Picolo automatically charge you that amount with a WEEKLY subscription that they don’t tell you about nor give you the option to opt-out. Absolute disgrace and in no way is this app worth the money - ITS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NETFLIX!!

Used to play this game at uni when it was free and it was an easy and fun drinking game. Got it again one night a couple of weeks ago, played it for about 5 minutes and forgot about it then the premium subscription automatically renewed charging me £4.49 a week for two weeks before I realised. Now it’s past 14 days so I can’t try and get a refund. Who’s paying nearly £5 a WEEK for a group drinking game? Definitely not worth that price.

A classic at pre’s; a marvel after a night out
It’s been a while since I’ve played, as lockdown has meant drinking with groups of mates has fallen to zero, but the memories of picolo moments are strong. Excellent drinking game, my mates at uni and I would usually play the regular style at pre’s and after coming back after a boozy night we’d play the Caliente version and end up in not much more than our underwear.
All I would recommend (for the developers), not just because of lockdown (although that has sparked the idea), is if a long distance version for video group chat drinking could be invented! Would also be useful for friendship groups that all live far away from each other - I only ever used the app with uni friends and now we’re graduated I’m barely able to see them so a picolo round for video calls would be great!

Hi, I have used this app for several years for many nights out with friends. However, I went to play it tonight and have been requested to pay for every package again when I have already paid for all the separate packages. I understand that the app may be busier now and you would like people to subscribe but I am not happy that a loyal customer who has already paid for all packages is now being told I cannot use the app unless I pay for packages I already have.

SCAM! Do not make my mistake!
This is a scam! After 4 days the free trial ended and started charging me £4.49 a WEEK even after I deleted the app! You have to cancel the subscription in a long convoluted way for them to stop charging you! The game itself wasn’t great the same people keep being chosen not giving others a turn and 80% of the options are bland! We honestly had more fun just making up our own!
An all over horrific experience which comes with a huge hefty price tag! Please do not make my mistake and down load this app!

I downloaded the app 2 days ago to play with friends, although it was a lot of fun I wish to unsubscribe from the subscription. When I go onto manage my subscription there is NO OPTION TO CANCEL. Do NOT download this app. IT IS A SCAM. After three days an automatic subscription started for me which cost 4.49 GBP PER WEEK. I only found out that this was happening two months later so the app had sneakingly got almost 60 pounds from me without me ever authorizing anything. Contacted apple and thankfully they were able to at least provide a refund of 35 pounds and I’m trying to obtain a full refund at the moment.
Also worst thing is I may have used this app once throughout the whole time I had downloaded it and I had a premium subscription I didn’t even know about.

Would not recommend this game at all I downloaded it to play it once with friends on a night and I’ve just found that it has been charging me for an weekly subscription of £4.49 that I never authorised. Would strongly suggest you don’t download this game unless you want to be charged a ridiculous amount for it.

Scam - Charges a weekly fee
This app had taken £4.49 out of my account every week for three months. At no point in the downloading of the app was it made clear this was purchased on a subscription basis. I was under the impression it was a one time payment. To charge a subscription fee for something you use once in a blue moon is completely non-sensical and in fact seems to be a down right scam. This should be made much clearer upon purchase. One star is too generous but zero doesn’t appear to be an option.

Great idea ruined by greed
The core app is good, some slight accessibility issues but it’ can be worked around. The pricing is shocking though. No ones having enough parties to justify the premium cost. Please either have a one off payment or don’t make it a recurring subscription. Buying it one off for a week or so at a push is better than what’s there at least. But one off would be much better.

This game was my go-to for a party, my friends and I have been playing almost weekly for 3 years and absolutely love it. Very very disappointed that it now costs almost £4 PER WEEK to play.. would be happy to buy the app but having to sign up for a payment that costs more than my WiFi bill, by the way, is too much. Please Picolo, make it a one time payment of like £5 and be done with it. As I say, I’ve been a huge fan of this game (and had almost everyone I know download it) for a long time. This game always comes out at get together as it is so much fun! It has different levels depending on the mood of the room and I have found it to be very repeatable with lots of different rules! Highly recommended!

After playing this particular drinking game with some acquaintances of mine; I can confirm we had a swell time at our local hotspot. It was a rather enjoyable experience with my chums and got us well on our way to drunkenness with various tomfoolery, an eye must be kept on the scoundrels of the group for cheating sake!
The only issue is the savagery with a virgin friend of ours of which the game seemed to drag the name of through. He was rather upset...
I would give 5 stars however nothing is perfect, unlike the adhesive capabilities of Flex Tape. That product will be the solution to all your adhesive needs, and I will exchange fisticuffs over this my friend!

Too Drunk
I got far too drunk playing this game. Afterwards I slipped into a ‘hangover’ style melt down. One of the challenges given by the app said ‘toss of your dad and then talk about it’. We talk for a long time about some of our issues but ultimately he beat me round the head and forced fed me pcp. While enjoyable, I did feel, while blowing my dad, that somehow Picolo was to blame. Many showers were taken in order to cleanse this horrific event but nothing will wash the shame away. Good night tho. Nice one Picolo.

Tbh I have to write this as a round . However as a game I could not rate this more highly. Interactive, sociable, relatable , shocking and provocative. A game like no other. Thanks for the good times not thanks for the drinks downed. Farewell. To night fever. Shoutout to my lost boys.

Definitely not one to play unless you’re in a group of people you trust 😂 it got so bad once we made a no photos/videos pact! You will die of laughter playing this, but get a few drinks in you before starting because it’s always a little awkward at first (unless you’re naturally very daring!) The extra purchases are SO worth it.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing drinking game. So much variety and so funny. I bought the extra games and say it's totally worth it. I was trying to put my own game together which helped a group of people get to know each other and I came across this and it has all the right components for the best drinking game. Not played it yet but I've looked through the games and I can see it working perfectly. Don't play if you're easily offended I would say.
