Lovely graphics and sounds - a great way to burn some free time
Extremely entertaining lots of levels totally recommend it if you like challenges
This is thematically the same as the first version but has new threats and body types. An awesome amount of play packed in for the price. Lots of fun. Who could ask for more.
It’s been 8 months since the last single player levels added! Add more please!
And a level editor!
Everyone is asking for one!
A big development from the first Badland game, this is incredibly addictive, testing problem solving and testing different tactics and strategies, as well as hand-eye co-ordination.
So even after a year of play, there are still some infuriating challenges I haven't completed.
Frogmind have released several new developments, with new levels and functions.
The on-line contest is good as well, although some of the levels are a bit dull. My main niggle is that sometimes a really good score can get lost in the network. This has improved a bit since the last release, but is still annoying when it does happen.
But I'd buy it again.
It feels like the developers spent a lot of time polishing the app after it was functionally ready. It is simply superb in every way. I got a little stuck right at the end and found that turning off 3D Touch in settings made the little froggie way more controllable.
This is not only my favourite game but it is my best but pls add create levels on badlands2 as there is on badlands my congratulations to frog mind and there vast imaginations
The game design is great. It's a challenge but that's one of the things I like about it. Beautiful backdrops and intuitive controls too.
The game could be enjoyable. It's not. It's an exercise in unmitigated frustration and rage. The developers (whom I have come to loath) have made a game that looks very pretty, but they're all clearly arch sadists/masochists for conceiving of levels (in the later stages at least) which require pixel perfect placement... it's an IPHONE...and psychic powers of prediction, with no way near enough save/waypoints. The sickos make you repeat the same s*dding level over and over (and over and over...) until you have no choice but to crush your iPhone into the floor with built up furry (or leave a one star review to get back at them).
Love the graphics, gameplay and style of this game. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is no multiplayer like the first one. Please add co-op and versus multiplayer mode. Thanks for making a great game!
The level design is great and there are many fun and imaginative traps, and puzzles to really get you thinking however it lacks an aspect that made the first one so fun and that is co-op. There is a huge noticeable absence of co-op from Badlands 2 that makes me rate it 4 instead of 5 stars. Hopefully in an update co-op gets implemented into Badlands 2
Still a great game with easy to use controls and challenging puzzles. Just missing that something different and amazing about that the first game had
Unique, go get it
It is an amazing game that totally calms u down the controls and graphics are excellent and the music is truly on point. However I will give a five star if it adds to multiplayer but so far it is amazing 😉 .
One of my favourite iOS games but I prefer to play on my Apple TV due to screen size. However even after deleting and reinstalling app there is no sound coming through on Apple TV. All other apps function fine. Please fix.
This needs level creator and multiplayer mode in BadLand 2 because the first BadLand game has level creator and multiplayer why can't the developers make the update in BadLand because they are lazy to get their team to do the update. So make the update now. This app needs update.
This game is great and an amazing sequel to BADLAND .
Nice game but really annoying when you have to repeat something 40 times to luckily get pass it
QA should take another pass at inferno/stop. Impossible to pass w/o massive amounts of repetition and random luck. Such a wonderful game utterly ruined by this single level
A lot of creativity in both graphics and puzzles.
Love it, but some of the end checkpoints are frustrating
Great game, really fun and loads of punch the air moments when you beat a challenge
It's a great game until it gets so difficult that you can't pass the stupid level. It's so annoying. Why didn't you add the option to skip to the next checkpoint like in the previous version? I'm giving up and don't want to play to the end because it's just pointless! Games are supposed to be relaxing and fun not annoying!
Not easy, not impossible. Like the new gameplay mechanics since the original. Took me a while to get through one obstacle on the last level, but I persevered! Will come back for Badland 3
I love this game. Even though it's extremely difficult, I find it fun. Though it would be even better with a level editor, so please add one.
This game is an ingenious and challenging
It looks amazing but plays terribly. It's like flappy birds with nice textures. Basically have to keep the bird from touching the ground. Would have loved the game if you could play at your own pace or even if there was some sort of free mode, unfortunately the screen moves too fast to enjoy any of the scenery and it seems the only challenge is getting through the obstacles in time. There is no puzzle element to it as you just have to guess because everything moves too fast. No competitiveness just complete the levels, no rewards, very disappointed especially as it's not a free game. Don't waste your time. Thumbs down.
Lovely graphics for an iPad game. Has a new feel every time you play a level. Clever levels with new vibes every time. Rating 10/10.
This is pure art. Huge congratulations to whole team making this masterpiece,
Great game love it but could do with coop
So far so good :)
If you like Badlands then you're going to love this, it not only improves on the first game, it blows it away. That's only my opinion, get it and see for yourself.
I have had to admit defeat and delete! I absolutely loved the original badlands but this latest one is too hard for me. I've been stuck on one little section in Issues and now I'm bored with trying again and again and again. Deleted the app in sheer frustration!
I was impressed by the first Badlands, but the second one it's incredible!!! Creative, stimulating and very gripping!! I love it!! The best game you can buy ....
Just finished 7 levels and thought" lets make levels" but theres no level editor!!!! Update needed? Yup!!!!!
It's a great sequel to the original. I love the gameplay improvements.
To the people whining about the screen moving quickly, it's meant to make you make decisions quickly. Features like that have been a staple of video games for decades.
Completely amazing so worth the money. It would be a 6 stars.
I liked the original badlands, however it was mainly for the coop which was more fun. To be honest, the single player here is pretty fun, and I don't really mind the speed at which the screen is moving (don't particularly understand why it's an issue), while I also think that single player is actually very fun. HOWEVER, I much prefer the original badlands because in this there is NO COOP, which was the main selling point of the original game :/. Implement it soon please ^^, though I can see how difficult it would be going left and right in split screen, but please try :3.
So this game isn't complete but I expect in a few months and after a few updates it will be.
There is no music yet.
There is no coop yet.
There is only 40 (rather simple) levels.
The screen moves way too fast!
This doesn't feel like the original badlands and if you liked that game you probably won't like this.
The game isn't really that challenging with a lot of click and hold and half the level is done!
My main gripe is definitely the speed the screen moves which is way too fast and even stops you collecting power ups you should be able to get.
Many levels you will repeat checkpoints not because they're particularly hard or challenging but just jump scares and getting timing which is rather boring.
I like the fact you can fly left and right but I enjoyed old badlands atmosphere with the music and challenging levels!
The game looks more vibrant but this just isn't good enough.
I have full faith that this game will become great and that these problems will be fixed but it's not worth the money just now as it isn't a complete game yet.
Bring Coop out soon please!
It's so cool but I have little time to appreciate the coolness, because the screen is moving so quickly and my brain can't process stuff that fast; it took me 4 minutes to spell 'appreciate'
... shame as it would no doubt be good.
Stop the screen from advancing. This feature ruins the gameplay.
Marvellous successor to the original
Badland was great for its beauty and simplicity. Badland 2 has ditched the simplicity, allowing you to move left and right, and thus allowing the game to proceed left, right, up and down. There are some problems with this. When moving vertically, especially downward, the screen does not always follow the leading clones -- they can be ahead of the screen. This is of course because the screen is narrower on the vertical. Equally, one can jump upwards when gameplay is moving downwards and kill your creature, which feels very unintuitive.
In addition, this game feels much more reliant on gimmicks to keep the game play interesting (lots of new things to kill you, more and more clones, etc.) whereas the original succeeded in making the puzzles more challenging while essentially maintaining the same elegant gameplay.
Lastly, Badland 2 is annoyingly repetitious, which the original rarely was. I completed Badland, yet in Badland 2 I found myself doing the same sections over and over again even in quite early levels. I don't know why game designers do this -- it isn't fun. The game needs more checkpoints and better spacing between difficult sections.
2 stars seems low for such a nice-looking game, but since I deleted it after a couple of days (on something like the twentieth level) I think it's a fair reflection of my gaming experience.
Plx add local 2 player
When I first saw that Badland 2 was coming out, I thought it would be rubbish as how could they improve on the original? However, as soon as I bought the game I realised how wrong I was. They've added so much new cool stuff, like flamethrowers, freeze rays, left and right controls, levels that go up, down and left instead of just right, oil, left and right controls, rolling mode and of course online multiplayer. I cant wait for the sci-fi levels to come out and it is definitely worth the price. The only thing I would say to add is the ability to change the appearance of your character, like in multiplayer on the first Badland. Overall amazing game and well done Frogmind.
This game is beautiful the graphics are astonishing gameplay is really fun.
Suitable for all ages.
Great game/app worth the money, pretty tricky at times but spot on with the save points!
