Description
Complete tool to manage team for professional and amateur coaches. Continuously improved based on your suggestions.
Five main app modules (selected with coaches’ assistance):
1. Squad
Easily add your players (import from Contacts). Besides basic info such as name, photo, preffered foot or contact info, you can set player’s technical, mental or physical attributes and edit them when your player makes progress.
2. Matches (2 match modes)
- ”QUICK MATCH” (simple mode): enter match result and optionaly a few basic statistics (shoots on target, ball posession, cards etc.)
- ”MATCH MODE” (complex mode): set lineup, subs bench, tactic and log EACH match event: goals, assists, substitutions, cards, etc. (25 preset event types and the ability to extend the list and add your own events). You can also add match notes at the end to evaluate players
3. Practices
Like in the real world, Practice consists of drills. This app has a built-in drill liblary but you can also add own drills by hand or import them from our second app: ”Coach Tactical Board for Football.” Once you’re prepared to practice, you can enter ”Practice Mode,” to check attendance and begin practice. Here, you can evaluate each drill and add notes.
There are 3 ways to add drills:
- Quick: from ”Add Practice View,” type new drill name in the search box and press ”Add.” Later you can set dill details such as description, image, equipment or focus.
- Standard: go to the drills liblary from ”Practices View” and add your drill with all its info. Presing on drill image, you can import your drill from the aformentioned Tactic Board app.
- Tactic Board app: Open Tactic Board, prepare drill (or load from playbook) and press ”Export to Team Manager.”
4. Schedule
Plan your next day or week using our schedule (which has calendar form). Here, you can add any event: match, practice or task. Moreover, you can set reminders to not miss any event. If you manage more than 1 team schedule; it will show you all events.
5. Statistics
Top coaches must analyze team performance and progress. Remember, numbers don't lie. This module is split into 4 sections:
- Team: Analyze team performance (games won / lost, goals scored / lost, average ball posession, discipline and more). Stats can be sorted by competition or match host.
- Players: Detailed stats for each player, viewable from inside the chart and check which points are strong or week for each specific player. Stats can be sorted in competition.
- Ranks: Check who has the most goals scored, assists, or who has the higest average match notes. Almost 30 rankings that can be sorted by competition.
- Practices: Track attendance (who work), check average attendance and player evaluations (average for drills from Practice Mode).
Most of app features are completely free.
Subscriptions:
App offers two types of Premium subscriptions - a Monthly and Yearly.
- The subscription are renewed automatically.
- The monthly subscription is billed monthly and renewed automatically each month. It costs £2.99 / mon.
- The yearly subscription is billed annually and renewed automatically each year. It costs £19.49 / yr.
- Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage the subscriptions and turn the auto-renewal off by going to your Account Settings or through App's „More page” -> Manage Subscription
- You can’t cancel the current subscription

Still getting a feel for this
My daughter's previous team website included an integrated team manager app which was really great. When she switched teams, her new club does not use the same website set up so I had to find a new stand alone app and this one looks promising.
So far I have only got the free version and am considering spending money on the full version so I can have visibility of everyone's stats but the previous review has caused me to pause.
My own frustration is with the inability to log stats for the opposition team (even just to say they shot wide or won a corner).
A bigger issue is with the placement of the + for new events. On a phone this is just below the match timer and if you hit the timer instead of the + you risk resetting the match timer to a custom time which totally mucks up your match timeframe. I use the app to refresh my memory of event sequences as I write the match reports so having the timeframe mucked up is a problem.
The app has so many of the features I do want that I will stick with it but it would be a great improvement if the issues picked up in this review and the previous one were addressed. As the other reviewer wrote - this has the potential to be a coach (or team administrator's) dream stand alone app.
UPDATE
I did spend the money and have now been using the app for 2.5 seasons. The full version has allowed me to track each year as separate teams as well as adding her academy team and tracking tournaments as well as regular season league & cup fixtures.
I also figured out how to manually add opposition stats after the match (but it does mean that I have to track them with pen & paper during the match)
The girls all love being able to see their stats & rankings and it really helps for the end of season assessments and presentations when I can provide the manager with the full stats for the season.
Tracking events in real time during the match makes writing match reports really easy too.

Brilliant app
This is great - I will be using it today.
I see there a couple of criticisms in the reviews (doesn’t incorporate the full FA 4 corner model. Come on! Maybe the FA should commission these guys to do them a bespoke app)
But if I could have any addition to the app that would suit me as an u7 coach I would go for:
1. An equal time manager
2. An Apple Watch option for quick input.
(But there are far from essential requirements. All could be solved by me getting more help from the parents, and/or finding where my kids hid my iPad.)
I would try to find a way to optimise the search for this in the App Store. I was looking for a quick easy way to track score and turned up a few (not very good) general score tracking apps. But this didn’t come up in that search.
Apps like these are few and far between. Brilliant work.

Excellent well thought through app but iPhone/iPad syncs needed
Love this app - really professionally laid out by someone who obviously understands coaching. Would love to see the data synced across my iPad and iPhone so I can use the big iPad to show stuff to team but iPhone on match days to record info.

Great app, slight tweak would be great
I absolutely love this app. Running a football team made easier. Ability to plan training sessions, registration of players weekly and note important player information. Both myself and another coach have this app but unable to link information between coaches. If this would be possible, you have a useful tool to support the running of the team.

Good app for any level of coach
Good app, very intuitive and detailed.
I would like options to rename/add certain attributes to players as well as change the categories.
There also needs to be GK specific attributes.
There should also be an option to transfer from one device to another, if there already is one, it isn’t easy to see how.
Overall a great app and if these amendments happen it’ll be 5 star.

Good but not Great
Great app. Almost covers the full FA 4 Corner model with the profiling maybe this is something to look into as coaches in England are asked to work around this model.
Also could you add the ability to share team selection/information across multi platform or introduce a shared multi platform team login. I would like to use this app and share the information between 3 of us.

Very good but could be excellent
Hi there, love the app but could do more with finishing touches. In the attributes section is there anyway you can add PSYCHOLOGY OR PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL. The attributes part already has technical and mental and physical. Also with this particular sections in attributes is there any way you can give the user an option to add their own wordings to the section. For example, although there is long shooting, I would love to add just shooting to the technical part but I don’t have any options to do that. Thanks for your help. Great app

Good little application, not sure it's worth £4+ upgrade fee
As a footy manager with 40+ players then good for scheduling matches, picking formations & useful group texts / emails for all players within the groups.
Would like to see more edit options once you have picked a squad for a match, can be annoying to change things if you have clicked continue with a match, on the whole pretty good if a little bit expensive.
