Too glitchy
The game is beautiful but far to glitchy to be enjoyable. I got it on Apple TV first and it just would not play right. It's better on iPhone but still has major problems.

Help
This game is almost a masterpiece. I have been playing it avidly the last few days on my commute and have got fairly far along in the story , however I was exploring a small cave beneath one of those smashable rocks In the floor and I got stuck at the end !!!! I can't get out !! I keep dying of hunger and respawning back in the rock!!! Please add a revert to last save option in the pause menu and fix this bug ! Thanks .

This game is epic you can't fault it so just pay for it (it's WELL worth the money) btw a tip in case you don't know if you kill lots of good animals and get your bad energy bar up when you die sometimes you turn into another animal

The Deer God, issues.
I just got Deer God for my iPad. Great gameplay and premise. Two major problems I have playing it. First is how close the view is on the player character, it's so close so you can't see what's ahead and plan for it. I would suggest having a zoom choice for the screen view on gameplay. Second problem is when you come to impassable map points (high cliffs), you can't cross them without items or abilities and I'm coming to them before I can get those things. Even in normal mode. Another problem for Apple players is there is no save game function for in game play you have to reincarnate overtime you die. Fix these points and it's golden.

Saves still messing up!!
I was extremely pleased with the terrain fix, so I updated, went to my save, was slightly annoyed that I started back at the beginning of the map, but was pleased when I still had all my skills.....I opened up some more skills and got my first relic, saved the game, quit, and went to check my save progress....and my save has disappeared!!!!!
I now have to officially start again!!!!

Good game but glitchy
I like the premise and visuals, really enjoyed what I got to play but glitches make it unplayable. Several times my screen has stayed blank apart from the sky background so I could not continue. Once I was on the final boss fight and this happened so I had to start from scratch. I only did this a few times after which I lost patience with it. Great potential but these flaws need to be sorted.

Not great
The graphics are beautiful, but that's about the only good thing to be said for this game. The game play is monotonous and the controls, particularly with regard to the fight scenes are pretty dire. Pity, because it looks so good....

Amazing, but still buggy
@big shields yes I have the same thing, it just freezes me in the sky, I'm waiting for an update. Fix this please crescent moon ASAP. But above all the bugs, an amazing game beautiful graphics and extremely well thought out. My favourite game of August by a mile, I would love to keep playing it so please fix the bug, thanks

Beautiful and broken
Happy to pay for a beautiful and well crafted game. Unfortunately it is so buggy at the moment it's more goat simulator than deer God. Getting stuck in vegetation or being unable to continue due to bugs is unfortunately common. Please fix guys!

Second time I went to use game there was no way to interact with it. Screen either white or very poor background and no characters. Rubbish on mini iPad! Need a refund!

Good - still a bit buggy
The game is fun... My main problem with it is that I'm pretty bad at it.
This isn't the creators fault... But there is a dearth of checkpoints in the game meaning that you have to spend a lot of time replaying fairly long and dull stretches.
There is also a bug that stops the save game working. So if you don't complete it in one sitting you have to start again from scratch... Much like the lack of check points this makes it kinda dull.

Barely works
Nice idea and style but full of bugs. Twice my save game has got stuck at a point where the player and environment is invisible, requiring me to start from the beginning. Avoid this game until the problems are fixed.

Great but needs work
I love this lovely game and will play it anytime but I really hate the fact that even if you saved as a older deer when you respawn you comeback as a fawn or the last animal you interacted with pls fix this. But overall worth the money.

But I found a big glitch, upon loading a game there is only the background and sky visible. Really annoying, more so because there's no obvious bug report method. Awesome game though, unconditional 5 stars but please fix

Expensive and Challenging
Authentically reminiscent of Amiga-age classics like Shadow of the Beast. If that's your thing, then great. If not, you're more than likely gonna find this fugly, belligerent and frustrating. £5 seems a little steep to take a punt on a game many simply won't enjoy…

Good game
However some of the jumps are not possible unless you grow up, leading to part where you just have to wait to grow up while slowly starving. Other than that, brilliant game!
