- Shift Days's auto-renewing subscription option is $1.99 monthly.

- This price is for United States customers. Pricing in other countries may vary, and actual charges may be converted to your local currency depending on the country of residence.

- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of your subscription

- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period

5 years ago this was a very good app. There was a 1 off payment for the pro version and that’s what I had. For some reason after my phone broke the app was making me pay the month fee for pro. This app is not good enough for a monthly subscription. The app has not had any good updates in the past year and is lacking with not being able to connect to the phones calendar or other things.

It has not kept up with the times and for that reason I’m out.

Both my wife and I are shift workers. We have tried every which way to get this to sync on more than one device to no avail. There is no way to combine shifts from two different calendars. No point is trying to inform each other via the app who has what shift if we can’t see each other’s. Good if just keeping track of what you’re doing only. No point having sync function if it doesn’t sync over more than one device.

This is a good shift calendar that works really very well, however I work a very complex shift pattern that continues on through the years ad-Infinitum and this is where Shift Days falls down for me….

Once set up, I’d like my complex shift to continue to run indefinitely but it doesn’t, and after a period of time I have to go through the whole set-up process again albeit after 18 months or so ( I forget how long it is until it needs refreshing)

I don’t find the set up process particularly intuitive either, and because of the complexity of my shift (which is a repeating pattern) the process of reinstalling the shift pattern is a horrendous PIA.

My other gripe is only a small one, but links to my point about it not being very intuitive is that to bring up any ‘events’ the + symbol and tick symbol are at the top of the screen, and the events list is at the bottom - no big deal but in my opinion is far from an ergonomic layout

I love that there is a large choice of colours for different shifts. I’m a nurse so use it to plan:

Have been using this app for a few years. Upgraded to the Pro version pretty quickly as wanted more categories and to be able to see a few months ahead. It works really well and once you get used to it, it’s very easy to use. My only criticism is that I use it to track mine and my partners busy work patterns and childcare rota’s but we have to do that separately as there is no calendar sharing unless I’m missing something. It would be great to be able to do this as one looking at family calendars but really like the interface for on this app so please consider a sharing option on Pro!!

I add the rotation for a year so I can see when my days off are. However for the 6 days my shifts change massively, so I’ve added around 30 different shift times and I click them into dates 👏🏼 I always do about 3 months ahead for that! Perfect!

I’m a nurse with varying shifts, this app means that I can really quickly see what I’m doing at a quick glance, I can add my off duty for the whole month in a minute and it’s all colour coded so it’s easy to quickly recognise what I’m doing! 2.5 years of data lost, emails not responded to

PRO version user. My 2.5 years worth of data and customised shifts (that alone took about 2-3hrs to enter initially and get organised) have been lost/erased about 3 weeks ago. Just opened the app and it was blank - no rotations shown, no pre-set shifts. Like, everything gone completely. I also had overtime records and references for these last 2.5 years on it, which is probably the biggest issue as far as lost data goes for me. Emails to the support have been ignored.

I’ve got the iCloud back up enabled, however I’m not sure how to make it work - I’ve deleted the app and restored via the App Store, restores the purchase but that hasn’t worked so far.

If not for this issue, I’d give the app solid 3-4 stars, as it worked for me (I have an 11 week shift pattern where there are different shifts daily) and I liked the interface.

This app is great, I was going to develop my own as I couldn’t find what I wanted... until I found this, good job! My only issue (having ocd and using dark mode) is there is no sark mode so in my widget screen, this app clearly stands out as it’s the only ‘light’ widget visible, all the rest use the base theme or have their own ‘dark mode’.

If this is still in development then as a pro user and with certainty that other pro uses would feel the same, may I request that this gets added please?

Really like the app (would have given 4 stars) I paid for the Pro upgrade and have used it for a couple years now. Despite its neat looks and ease to understand (it’s widget is great for quick reference) after all this time the app hasn’t changed. Other apps are available now that have many more features that I’d really like to see implemented here (ability to incorporate wage, print out rota planners and generate reports to track annual leave etc, Apple Watch support) but as it stands the app remains the same leaving me to consider if I should pay for another that performs a similar job but better. For this reason it gets 3 stars, as I don’t think this should be the case and I would like to see the money I paid being invested into developing this app further than what it was initially.

After sending 18 emails with no reply, I have given up with Shift Days and switched to a far better app called Supershift which has a much cleaner interface and more useful features.

I am disgusted with the developer of Shift Days and even if they bothered to reply now I would never support them. Having paid for the app I feel aggrieved that I have no option to restore my purchase upon getting a replacement phone.

PLEASE AVOID AND TRY SUPERSHIFT.

1 month and 16 emails later, still no reply to any emails. I refused to pay £5 to restore my access. Perhaps they hope people will give up waiting for a reply to their email and just pay their £5 instead. Now on the quest to find a more worthy and deserving app.

When trying to do so I get a “Can not connect to the App Store” error message. I’ve emailed the developer 3 times but unfortunately had no response. It annoyingly will allow me to pay £4.99 again, but why should I!?

I have to say this app is great in a basic form, I paid £4.99 to use the pro version and for me that amount is worth the convenience it gives me.

I can see my shifts at a glance and input them quickly and easily, it syncs to my iPad and I can share my shifts with friends for a whole month when we are trying to plan something but want to find a day/evening we’re all free.

The downside to this is that the iPad version doesn’t allow landscape mode who’s is annoying as I use a keyboard with mine (not the biggest problem in the world, but would be a nice feature)

Also would be great if there was some Alexa/google home intervention or being able to sync with google calendar at least, the convenience of asking your voice assistants you next shift would be a great feature, some other apps do this so I think shift days could move with the times on this front.

Other aspects of the app work fine for me, as I’m a paying member I get plenty of tiles but something I think would be helpful is the addition of manager, supervisor tabs as sometimes you need to know who the duty manager on shift is without having to type everyday in notes, generally there’s 3 shifts a day, open, middle and close.

Shift days, I really like your app but it’s a little basic in features compared to some others, you have a good product but it can be a great with a few more features.

I’ve paid for pro last year. And you telling me a need to pay again

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and although it’s true that it takes a bit of getting used to when setting up the shifts to begin with, once they’re inputted it’s easy to read and amend. I would suggest playing around with it to begin with because you may find after you’ve put all your shifts in it disappears because you’ve not done a certain step. Also once you’ve bought the app and you want to download it again it’s free!

I have found that not only is the powering up time extortionate, the app glitches quite often.

The one that annoys me the most is trying to write a memo on a particular date, and whilst I’m typing it, it will glitch onto the 1st of that month and leave the memo there.

In order to get it on the date you want you have to open the memo and type one letter, save it and then go back and edit it.

I use the memo features a lot for locations etc for my appointments and it’s rather tedious.

It has also on other occasions not put a shift on a date despite trying multiple times and I have to close the app and reopen it.

It also doesn’t sync well if you transfer onto a new phone. I had to redo all my stuff when I upgraded to a new iPhone two years ago and would likely have to do the same when I upgrade again in the next month. I hope that it’ll improve by then.

I like the app and use it every day but it needs improving. I only put 1 stat to have it get noticed by the app developers, really I’d give it a 4 or 5

Please explain what you have done to this app and put it back as it was. I have used this happily for 2 years and yet it seems a recent update now means I can only see one month ahead yet a few days ago I was setting up my shifts to the end of 2020!! This is now a complete waste of time and means I can no longer use this app as my work diary. Please fix this problem as I am being asked to pay £4.99 for pro version and then it says I have already paid and I end up back at square one only able to see one month ahead

Found the app a little hard to use at first as I couldn't work out how to put what days I was working onto the calendar, but once you get the hang off it, it's easy and very quick to input your shifts! You can either put set shift patterns into it or random ones. Free version comes with 3 labels so I have day shift, night shift and annual leave which suits me perfect! Does exactly what I was looking for and it's quick and simple to tell what days you are working at a quick glance. Only gripe is that the paid version is £4.99 (I think a little expensive for an app) and with the free version you can only see the current and next month so can’t plan that far ahead!

I’ve used this for two years now for my shifts but even used it for reminders using the notes it’s literately like my own portable diary on my phone! So easy to use really recommend it when you want to keep organised or a quick reminder... can’t be doing with a diary and a pen when my phones glued to me constant just made sense to use it to my best advantage and it’s fab!

I’ve used a few of these apps but this was probably the best to suit me. You can put more than one shift in per day, it was cleat & easy to read. Also easy to input without making mistakes. However one day it was deleted? Not sure why or if I had made this mistake myself but seemed to coincide with an update. When I reinstalled it would not give me the full version I had already paid for. Contacted developer & had no reply as such refuse to pay again & will no longer use it

5* for ease of use and user interface. No major complains except not being able to go more then a month in front unless you upgrade to pro. Can’t even complain at that really, devs gotta make money somehow and it could be a lot worse in all fairness.

Great app that I’ve used for a long time now. The annoying problem I have on a regular basis is when I try to add a note to a specific date, for some reason it writes the note into the 1st of the month, even though I’d selected a different date.

Secondly it hasn’t been updated in a year and is not optimised for iPhone X

If these issues were resolved it would be the best app on the App Store for shift planning.

Would be a very good app if the iCloud sync worked

App is easy to use and appeared to do the job I needed it to do. It is fairly intuitive to use and I would’ve rated it 4 stars. However, my main reason for paying for the upgraded version was to have my shift pattern in my calendar. Unfortunately this has never worked despite trying every combination of settings to sync it with my calendar. Even with the latest version of iOS, it still doesn’t work. I contacted the developer and have had no response so that loses another star. It could be a very good app but for me it doesn’t do what I needed it to do. Disappointed.

I've been searching for an app to keep track of my shifts as a freelancer, and this could not be more perfect.

Only thing worth mentioning is that if you purchase the pro version and your app reverts to the free version after a year then just go to settings and tap 'restore purchase'.

Great app, very customisable & easy to view. Yes it is a bit pricey to get the extra features but is worth it alone for the iCloud support & also having a iPad app as well. Needs to get more regular updates though, for instance a 'today' button would be helpful so as not to have to scroll back to the current day & month & just bring you back straight away. Other than that great app!

The app was recommended by a friend. I have found it really useful to plan my work days as I work a 7 week rota, however only one thing very slightly let's it down it would be really good if somehow you could fit more than 2 items onto a specific date and stay in view as occasionally there are 3/4 different things planned in and only 2 fit to a day that you can see the rest are hidden which can be a bit awkward when you can't quite remember what day a certain event is on. Overall a really useful app even paying £4.99 for the full version just a few tweaks if possible would be good.

I work a 6 week shift pattern so needed an app that could do this, and this does exactly that in a really easy to use way. The colour coding is also useful so you can quickly check your calendar. I also really like the home screen widget too so you don't even have to open the app.

This app is absolutely amazing. It costs £4.99 which could be a downside to some people but as I work a shift pattern this app was definitely worth the money. It lets you create a pattern and then auto fill it over a set period of time which has saved me hours. On top of this it is clear what you're working and when and is an amazing upgrade of the original calendar for iPhone.

Definitely worth the money if you work in the services and need a user friendly and nice looking app to display your shifts. 100% recommended.

I absolutely love this app! I am a care assistant who works 12 hour shifts, so this has helped me to know my shifts. Before I had to keep looking at my work rota to find out when I was working which was just annoying. No I can put in working days off and social days where I can relax and have time to myself. Would recommend this to anyone! Very impressed with this app. So 5 stars.

Best shift app out there! It just lacks the support for external calendars. I work a random rota with no rotations and it takes time for me to input all the shifts manually when I can just sync my rota with iCalendar or Google Calendar via external URL link. I don't use this anymore which is such a shame because it has so much potential, and I paid for the full version.

Just gone back to work after Christmas and I have put my three week rota in. The App can add the rota in however long and it can then paste it through however many month/years you need it to run.

This is worth reviewing as it's the only one I've found that is very easy to set up and use. Tried three others and they were frustrating and it pi@*%d me right off. This one is good. I bought the full version as I was impressed but I didn't really need that for my needs really but it does allow you to send your month(s) as a photo, mms or email. You can add notes to each day too. Good.

I was looking for a way to plan my life after starting a 12hr shift pattern, this app has been perfect.

It's easy to set up a fixed rotation pattern, then all you need to do is apply it to the time period you'll be working and it puts the pattern to the calendar. I can now make plans with friends without staring at a calendar for 5mins. You can also add notes to the calendar for other appointments or edit individual days to enter holidays or switched shifts.

So for free you get 3 types of event and 1 month. For £4 you get the limit taken off and syncing. There is no integration with anything so it is a stand-alone app which does what it says on the tin. You really are buying a month planner with pretty labels. There are no other functions. No calculations for hours, no day totals, nothing else. Is it worth the money? Still thinking about that.

This app allows me to cover everything from my shift pattern to many different appointments and also study sessions for uni etc.

I upgraded to the pro version as the free only allows 3 separate options and the paid one off cost which is less than £4 was worth it as can do so much more.

It syncs with all my apple devices and updates no matter which one I have added something to.
