Quite a fun game, the only thing I can think of worth putting it in a review is how the game becomes try hard after a certain point, levels become too hard and there is nothing you can do about it apart from putting your own money into the game so you can buy new characters, upgrades and stuff I got admit it was fun at first but it become really frustrating after a certain point to just try hard the same level for 10 times because you can’t get pass it. Apart from that the game is still good I think it d be better with like different kind of game modes but still I d say give it a try

This game is very fun to play when I’m bored, I love the style and the little story it follows along
However, the main concern I have is that it feels we get let into new areas a bit too quickly leaving us underpowered to get through them and it feels we get introduced to hard zombies way too quickly as well.
But apart from that it’s a really nice game to play, I like how you can change the class in the characters to benefit you differently.

I absolutely love this game and have spent a long while playing it. I decided to get the console version so I could play it there instead of my tablet and not have any issues with things like charging and internet you know? But when I logged on it was one of the earlier versions and I wasn’t very happy with it tbf. I’d love it if they updated the console versions but it would be understood if they didn’t.

Really tough.
But that’s what makes it worthwhile, eh? Great fun, great graphics and animation, great ideas. There are enough free drops to keep you going, but to advance quicker than a snail’s pace, you’re gonna have to spend some money. That’s another tough fact of gaming we have to face, but for now, I’m going free, slow and steady. If it gets easier to build up my teams with maybe a few more free resources, I don’t have an issue with rewarding the developers with a few purchases, as I know I’m investing in something worthwhile. Still - a great game all the same.

Absurd prices
The game itself is really fun, I quite like it and think the way the troops and zombies are balanced is perfect, however the price for items and ingame money is absurd, it costs 20 GBP for 625 green cash, micro transactions keep the game alive I know but these prices are absolutely absurd, and it’s the same for buying units with the normal game currency you can earn, they are so absurdly overpriced that you would have to grind and save for a long time to even get one new unit, leaving little other option than to buy the currency with green cash.
I love the game, I think it’s charming and I wouldn’t mind spending money on it, but the prices for things in this game are far from reasonable, I would say they would have to be at least cut in half before I start to buy anything

Great game, few things get on my nerves
I really enjoy this game, but my main problem with it is the gameplay loop. I understand that this IS a mobile game but with that said, a few key problems need to be addressed: firstly, the timer on each game. This really makes it difficult to enjoy a match when I know it’ll be over within 2 minutes because I’ll just get overrun with an unbeatable hoard. And my only other problem is I feel the ranger units feel too underwhelming, especially during the supply runs. The only place I seem to use ranged units (and they feel somewhat useful) is during the PvP events. Like I said, this is a good game but some things really need looking at.

What an amazing game!! Very well crafted game both graphically & audibly- the mechanics are simple yet enjoyable, the seamless moves from equipping, powering up and using characters 🙂 gameplay is timely, strategic and great to watch! Level expansion is beautifully done with other game types within the map itself.
Overall, this game has everything to keep me coming back for more!!

Good but could be better
The game is really really good but one thing I think needs work is the premium currency. I know it supposed to be hard to get but even things like skins cost far to much. Perhaps you could add more achievements and let you gain 40-50 money buy completing them?. Also some units don’t have teams so perhaps some more? I have two ideas 1 a minimum wage team (Glenn cashier etc) 2 a criminal team (Carlos Mexican Dias and a prisoner skin for agents)

Good time killer with some decent online features, there is P2W which can be very annoying when doing online battles.
I’d improve the game by making it easier to earn Money Packs as on average you can only earn 5 a day. With the minimum price for buyable content is usually 300+ (That’s probably deliberate to encourage P2W though).

It’s a good and fun game. But the flaws are the paying part. Which is support by the low income or coins and especially cash. Pay to win characters. Pay to make progress. This game requires time and patience. And progress will slow down and the gameplay when you hit a certain point. As things get more expensive to upgrade. Saving up coins and cash. If you want to make progress. You’ll have to spend money and watch yt vids for advice. But it’s a fun and addictive game. But I wouldn’t recommend it

The game is nice mobile game to play on down time but shares some negatives that other free to play games have which are bit pushy micro transactions and advertisements ( thankfully those are optional)

Like the title says, what not to love! The levelling works well, and as long as you don’t mind the odd advert building coin comes quite smoothly. I’m sure paying cash would be quicker, but the developers have been gentle enough, that if you don’t want to pay actual cash you don’t have to.

This game can be pointlessly cheap and extremely grindy
If you have ever played this game doe more than 10 minutes you’ll come realise that it tends to throw more stuff at you that you a reasonably able to deal with, don’t get me wrong challenge is good in games but when every time you fail and then you have to spend more of a resource that is so finite and takes too long to get back, it just takes the fun away from the game as you have to wait or spend money which are two paths games never take for their players

This is a great game
I don’t often leave reviews but thought I would on this occasion. This is a really good, quite addictive game with enjoyable gameplay and nostalgic sprites/graphics; very well developed and well presented. As with most games if you put some coin in you will be rewarded with some great characters, bonuses etc. However that said it is also free to play and if you are prepared to put the grind in this game it will also reward your hard work; unlike so many other ftp games. Any ads are not intrusive. If anything I think it’s really clever how they have included the ‘watch an ad to speedily recharge your fuel tank’: this way it gives you the choice. Love this game. Also love the comedy about this game too. It has a bit of a nostalgic 80’s scary movie vibe to it too

Utterly insane gameplay and I love how you don’t need to spend a penny to enjoy this post-apocalypse strategy game but nevertheless this is hands down, one pf the best mobile games I’ve ever played. The story is great and intriguing, the gameplay is always fantastic and every update makes the game waaaay better than it already was! No glitches or bugs or lag were present at any point. 6 stars if I could rate this masterpiece!

Last update made it too hard
Was loving the game for about a month to the point where I even spent money on the game but the last update has made the game about 10 times harder and it feels like a pay to win game unless you grind out supply missions endlessly. I beg you make the game flow like it was before the newest update because I was really enjoying it but I can’t even progress anymore because the zombies are way stronger than my deck which wasn’t the case just one update prior.

Fight the Zombie Hordes and the terrifying Paywall!
This is a good game, with nice progression, varied enemy types and interesting gameplay. The art style is awesome, the little animations are great and give weight to the combat.
The main gripe? That unscalable Paywall. I have no objections to exclusive paid content, and understand the business model. But the prices are steep! To obtain a viable amount of in game currency would require multiple purchases. And previously that was a requirement to progress.
However, since the last gameplay change update this has improved greatly. Being able to upgrade your units with gear so that they can at least complete missions has made a lot of difference. Not easy, but not impossible without spending a small fortune.
Before the last update, I wouldn’t have been able to recommend the game. Now it is a lot more fun and I can see myself playing it on a long term basis.

Unexpected
It was a really long time since I been blessed with such an amazing game to play. It is an honor to be playing such a simple yet such an addictive game on my phone with no flashing adverts every second. It is an amazing design and gameplay is just so simple yet so cool. Brings my childish sandbox wishes to come true.
Will definitely recommend this 10/10 masterpiece.

Seems a fun game, nice graphics but also not too easy
So I’m not very far in the game, but I’m at a point to review my experience so far.
The first few levels seemed rather easy, but as they went on got harder. There’s actually a thought process to some of the choices for units you create to defend instead of strength in numbers. For example there’s a zombie that runs and doesn’t stop till it hits something, which means barrel drops are essential to blocking them from practically taking a 3rd of the bus HP (which if it dies you lose, it’s a defence attack strategy)
Some of the levels are ones you have to revisit, with stronger units, so it does encourage redoing supply runs and such for money or upgrade points for units.
All and all it’s fun, good for time, and nice graphics style however it’s a shame with games like this having a “fuel” system. This means you have to after using up wait to play the game again, which isn’t awful but if you wanna get into it for a chunk of time it stops that meaning you need to wait X amount of real time to play again (or pay real money for more)

For a long time this game sat mostly unchanged for a good year, but it was worth it for this massive quality of life! While it will be difficult for new players to get into it because of how tiresome it is to level units, returning players will find it has something for them to come back to.

Why is nobody talking about this
I don’t know how to feel about this game one moment I’m passing through all the easy levels next moment I’m struggling to surviving a normal level and I feel it’s because this game is Pay to Win can’t progress because you run out of coins and materials that you use to upgrade characters I’d love to buy the gas masked characters but I haven’t seen it in some time even if I did it would probably ask for a ridiculous amount of money can’t catch a break idk why the reviews aren’t talking about this more otherwise it’s a good concept

Love this game so much!!!
I came back to this game in 2020 as lockdown got me at an all time low. I was looking for a great zombie game that I could play to pass the time, and remembered Zombie Warfare. The addition of the league is a great feature & team classes. So many combos & characters to choose from & slay your enemies with.
In future updates I would love to see a story continuation, with the addition of new zombies & bosses. I like the supply run addition, but it left me wanting more. I know making new content cannot be done by just a click of a finger (or a mouse), but it’s what I and they rest of the community are dying for!! Please don’t ever abandon this game, it’s a real gem and cannot wait for even more exciting updates!!!

Gripped
Absolutely amazing game, it’s simple yet intriguing. The UI is easy to learn and navigate. The upgrade system is also very satisfying working for the loot you need to upgrade with.
On top of that you have amazing visual pixel art that’s really well done and a soundtrack that’s eerie and fitting the genre of the game. Haven’t encountered any problems so far and I’m enjoying the difficulty progression. All in all well rounded and amazingly thought out game.

Quite honestly, amazing.
I’m not into mobile games by any stretch but I do like all things zombie, so I decided to give this a shot.
I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised and rather hooked all morning and afternoon! While the game obviously has its micro transactions to make up for the fact it’s free, you don’t actually need to get any of them, as you can always watch short ads to get fuel (needed to take on missions) or wait a measely ten minutes. Certainly a lot more viable and fair towards your time that a lot of other mobile games I’ve bothered to even try.
The feel of this game is great, has that gritty apocalypse feel you’d expect from a mobile game, and when you unlock skirmish mode it just gets even more fun.
All in all a very enjoyable game that I think I’ll continue to enjoy as I work and wait for the fuel to regain! Excellent!

So I’ve been playing this game for months now, the balancing between upgrading your people and items vs the zombies is great and the combat is perfect but I recently found the “level 5” in game purchase options which I believe was for a few legendary boxes, it cost £5 (£4.99) and I thought “sure this games cool I’ll throw some money to it to give me a little advantage why not?” I purchased the item, the transaction went through and it just loaded.... and loaded... and loaded... I push the screen and it stops loading, I still have no items, I just paid £5 for nothing, so I restart the game maybe that’ll fix it? nope... I click on it again and it says this item is already paid for so it has been redeemed for free! no... it gives me a loading icon, so I wait, leave my iPad on and go have a bath, half an hour later, it’s still loading, so I push the screen: still got nothing and the loading icon is gone, so I press it again “purchase in progress” and still nothing! so after a few days I leave it, then just today the option is gone to buy the level 5 stuff, so the game has ACTUALLY taken my money, don’t get me wrong I love this game but I either want my stuff I paid for or my money back,
UPDATE: I have now received my items, thank you for sorting the problem out.

Cute, fun, fair game
Enjoying this game, it’s a game you don’t have to pay to play, there are obviously some ways in which other players who do pay can upgrade and level up faster and therefore are difficult to beat but the normal levels are doable and with normal, gradual skill building. The characters and even the zombies are super cute too!

Ads keep freezing game.
Spoilt by ads that don't close after watching them. I can't even click on the ad itself to go to the ap store page for that advertised game. I have to close down the app completely to get off of the ad screen and when I start back up none of the bonuses have been applied. Please fix this. The ads that cause this problem are the ones from "vungle"

Game modes
I love the old school graphics and the simplicity of the the game but I think it’s too simple. There’s little to do in the game other than the campaign. Some ideas to spice up the game is to add a PVP mode where the first person to destroy the bus wins, just like when your against the AI but with real people and players attacking you and you attacking them. I think this would be a great addition to this game to make it more fun. But other than that this game is very addictive and made very well. Good job.😊

Really fun, always something to do.
Although it is one of those games that you either wait, and play at slower pace or pay for in game currency and progress faster, I’ve got to say that this is definitely one of the better and more fairer ones!
When you’ve run out of fuel you can play all the events and the PVP leagues which are just as fun as the main game. The game also gives you opportunities to watch 30 second adverts so that you don’t have pay any real money or wait for an extended period of time, which I think, is a fair alternative.
The actual game itself is quite in-depth and has a nice difficulty curve as you progress! Certainly many hours of fun to be had playing this! 👌

ADD MORE UNITS
Hey I love you guy, you have made my fav game but you need to add more units and more levels because as a player who’s got 3 stars on everything and I bought everything it get very boring I have some ideas that you guy can use such as a jugaornot with like a mini gun who is very slow but with a lot health or just more military unit or just NORMAL units but pls add somthing physical and new cause I really want to keep playing this game but it’s hard to when there’s nothing to do anymore

A great game ruined by Privacy Issues
So the game is a fun spin off on the tired oversaturated category of zombie games. In essence it a tower attack/defence game but with amazing intuitive art style.
But it’s all let down by the MANDATORY privacy consent form you MUST AGREE TOO in order to play and removing your ‘consent’ Denys your ability to play this game (even if you’ve sunk money into like I have) until you once again agree consent. Also finally to add insult to injury. Video advertisements will always play of full blast despite otherwise having your phone/tablet muted, thus leading to awkward encounter when playing in a public place!
All in all, I would skip over this game because the privacy policy and advertisements are just too egregious for any otherwise fun little game!

Best mobile zombie game
I love strategy games especially games like this, I love the art style of this game, the music is perfect and really sets the atmosphere. I do find the game difficult but they may be down to my own skill, this game is difficult and you'll lose a lot however if you want a game involving real time strategy with just units and no base building get this game!

What a shame
Good concept but far from amazing.
Energy regen to use more units is painfully slow, stacked with the regen time 30 seconds plus to use your “better” units? How does that work? just forget it.
Some Zombies are stupidly fast moving and OP, (appear to be faster than what your bus can travel) and the humans can’t move quick at all! It’s very annoying when you’re trying to 3 star a stage and the Zombies seem to ignore your front line of units and head straight for the bus, conveniently when your energy is spent! If you want to succeed you have to turn to the
Micro transactions which ironically aren’t micro at all, way too expensive for a mobile game. I’d rather take the money they are asking for and buy something for my consoles.

The Best Game I Have (Some Wishes)
It is the best and most fun game I have but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is perfect. There should be more guides on the best starter setup and what not to waste coins on, you should earn more coins. Like most currencies in games, you buy nearly everything with it but only get 20+ coins per 3 star game unless you collect loads of the safe icons in the game or watch a video for an extra +50, +25. The police guy and charlotte are very expensive early game and you just don’t earn enough coins, it feels like every purchase was a mistake and that i should’ve bought or saved up for something else.

Addicting
Very fun game with rewarding progression. Many interesting units to unlock and I’ll be investing quite a bit of time into this one!
There’s a PVP system to test your troops against others which is a nice addition.
There is a lot of add watching, as you’re pretty gimped on your coin rewards if you don’t - you’ll get around 50 coins for an earlier level without an advert, but you’ll get 75 bonus coins for watching an advert as well. I haven’t found this to be intrusive though as you can just, y’know, put your phone down!
My only wish would be a discount on already completed levels; I’d like to test new compositions but it costs fuel to do so. It would be nice to have a testing ground or something to try out new teams.
Overall, definitely worth a download!

Brilliant Game
Firstly, I love the graphics style of this game. The art and animations are well done and a favourite style of mine!
The game is good, entertaining and very addictive! There are ads, but they make it worth your while for watching, meaning you can progress without having to buy packs in game to keep making decent progression - something I find quite rare in games today. Kudos to them 😘
The stages are a mix of varying levels of difficulty, providing plenty of challenge and a dynamic playing experience. If you come across a particularly hard level there will be easier ones around it you can complete first. Even then if you’re stuck, there’s a community to access in-game that discusses how other players got through the level.
Through the different zombie types and the environment art of levels there clues that let you figure out what happened there, but there is no obvious plot. It’s not a story driven game but then I don’t think it needs to be. The game mechanics and play though are fun and addictive enough as it is. All the story you need is pretty self explanatory; this is a zombie apocalypse, survive!
So much fun playing this game, really recommend it and though I’m currently only in stage 4 I can’t wait to see more.

Dead ahead: zombie warfare
I have just started this game and so far I really like. I like the classic old school look and the levels can be very challenging. I hope that in time you wont need to use real money to buy upgrades just to complete a level. It is annoying when your distance attack’s are better then your enemy and they kill you 1st. I hope in time there be little bit more custom upgrades.

Awesomeness
Sweet addictive game , love the old school 2D graphics and the character designs. All the different types of zombies and crew for defence is awesome. Upgrades are super cool and the levels are a lot of fun. It’s not too difficult at first, which I found made it even more fun to play. As you gradually move through the map though it gets tougher but you get well equipped and prepared for more difficult action. Well and truly recommend this game.

An amazing game
I played the first one and I really enjoyed it this and that are completely unique to me I love the first and second the second is the best for me as this is awesome I love the storyline I know this review was a bit late but I’m in stage 2 and I quite enjoy the game I think it would be cool to make a 3rd I don’t know what people have got to hate immerse characters, awesome pixelated graphics and good combat it is an amazing game and I hope you make a 3rd GL

Too luck based and grindy
Most of the coin income comes from watching adds. Finishing levels literally gives you no coins and new characters cost a lot of coins so its quite grindy. Also the game is luck based. It really depends who’s character gets into the attack animation first. For example in pvp my “builder” character goes up against a lower level “builder” and you would think i would win cuz my character is stronger yeah well the game is autistic and makes my character just stand there and the enemy’s character starts to melee my character to death while he's just standing still doing nothing.

This is no joke
I’ve tried a fair few paid and free games from various genre since the App Store opened. This is a strategy game of top notch quality. The ally and enemy mechanics and interplay are a wonderful shtick to keep you coming back and scrounging for more coins. The ads are there but not forced onto you. There are even little pop culture references to famous characters from Zombiecentric media. Anyway all in all an excellent game. Just wish there was a disable ads feature for paying end users.

Unbalanced
Obviously pay to win. I know devs need money as well, but come on. Some missions are impossible to finish even on normal difficulty because the units cost too much and do little damage, they are extremely easy to kill, the basic units are crap and take too long to build when you have a large group incoming. The “courage” generating is trash, and does not accumulate faster if you have more units out. The bus is incredibly easy to destroy and the "zombie wave" is crazy overpowered leading to nothing but frustration when that machinegun guy lasts for literally 2 seconds. Shameful

Good game but need to be smart
I know that these days there is nothing for free but personally I enjoyed this game with massive challenge without buying anything what would support your gameplay. Now any of the missions gives me more joy when i win the game just with basic character selection over overpowered p2p bundles. One of the games worth keeping if you don’t want to spend money and want to be challenged

Great concept, needs polishing
Great looks with amazing old school graphics but all the gore and animations of newer releases. Game mechanics are good, fun and addictive but some of the zombies a slightly too strong. Every zombie has a counter though, you just need to find and use it.
Coin earning is slow, but massively increased by watching optional ads (highly recommend you do that, otherwise progression is a pain). It’s not a “make cash fast” type of game and it’s very much ad centred. Ads are always optional but provide a lot of bonuses for the short time they actually play for. Micro-transaction for coins and chests are very expensive, but there are frequently massive sales on bundles with coins, chests and units (still relatively expensive though) but there is only pressure to purchase things with real money late in the game.
A good way to improve the game would be to make a method where players can earn a sizeable amount of gold repeatedly to not slow down late game profession to the point people get bored and leave.

Very good game
It's a game that has lots of untapped potential, lots of replay-ability and can be challenging.
However this game can feel P2W (pay to win) because of the increasing expenses for newer, better troops. But this is easily countered by only buying the offers, and only the best ones at that. Like, for example, at time of writing, there is a SWAT bundle that is £20 and I calculated a rough normal price if you were to buy everything separately of about £80; quite the steal.
tldr: Good game, IAP offers are the only things you should buy if you're going spend money.
