First of all, the app is full of glitches: conversations disappear and it crashes quite often, moving between parts of the app is slower than with other applications. Second, it makes contacting agents even harder: the ones who are not “friendly agents” can be contacted via email however there is no reference/URL in the email that the system generates.

Overall, it’s a nice app. Pretty simple to use, however, it’s over keen page refreshing (refreshes about every 10sec) makes it really frustrating to use. It’s keeps sending the page back to the top, making it extremely difficult to view properties further down the line. I hope you guys can fix this soon.

An amazing app that makes a very stressful and what can be overwhelming task of finding somewhere to rent, simple and easy. Talk to landlords and book viewings straight in the app, get notifications when places come up in your areas and look within multiple different locations at a time. Great customer service and the app for the future for Home renting!

Overall, movebubble’s great- having the contact all contained within the app, clear information about move in dates and having crowd sourced information about the property are same major pluses. However, the actual app itself has a few irritating bugs that make it unwelcoming the use. Once you’ve attended a booking and decided against making an offer on the property (to the point of ‘removing’ it from your viewings list), the app continues to pop up asking you to make an offer- even as you’re trying to make enquiries about other places!

App itself seem to be nice idea and all but it’s broken. I literally can’t search for anything. App keeps reloading and landing on the same property no where near to where or what I’m looking for. Every time I try to move map elsewhere it reloads again. When I manage to click on what I want the property page doesn’t load up at all. And then the reload game start all over again. Imposible to search for anything

The app is really useful to find places once you know the locations you’re looking at.
My only complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be any way of sharing a watch list with others. If you’re moving in with a partner or a group of friends, you can only share properties one by one in another messaging app. It’s not the end of the world, but would be a really great feature that this app is missing.

Such a great app. I have been using Rightmove for awhile but they always lump in student houses with my flat searches even though I filter them out. So this app is amazing, searches for exactly what I want, have found some beautiful apartment for some great prices and it tells you what transport is near as well as nearest shops, restaurants and gyms. I haven’t tried contacting someone about renting yet so I don’t know about that side of things but the searching and options is amazing, way better than Rightmove!

What I like the most is the option to select if the property is available or not, as many agencies leaves the best properties online so they can get your information to be in their system.
Another that I like is to be able to send text messages to the agents and if you send an email, the email is already in a draft! Which make it really easy to contact them.
It will be great to have a place where you can see which properties you have contact. Or send an email to know that you contact somebody.
Still less properties in the app but I know is new!

A Bad Start for Data Privacy

My use of this app was halted before it even started, largely due to the fact that to get started required entering personal data such as my email address and a password.
Why should I have to enter my personal information just to be able to see if there are any properties I’d be interested in or if I’ll like the app? Bigger names like Zoopla and Rightmove allow use of the app without signing up. With the GDPR enforcement date a month away, this does not fill me with confidence.
In this age of data breaches, companies in their eagerness to gain a competitive advantage, fail to understand that the less data you store about persons, the lower the risk to users’ data & the company.
Ensure you read their privacy policy and terms of use before signing up.
Their stated use & sharing of user data in their privacy policy is also too vague for my liking:
“We may share information, including personal information with third parties that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include booking viewings, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, ad tracking and analytics, supporting our Service functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our Service. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purpose.”

This app is a really good and simple way of allowing movers to search for properties, however a major flaw with it is that you cannot tick pets as being a must have!
For us, myself, my boyfriend and another couple, having a pet is a must for finding a new property but no information is given on the app about wether or not pets are allowed.
You can mention in your bio you have a pet, but this isn’t helpful when it comes to finding out if properties are worth enquiringly about.

I’ve just started using the App and am beyond impressed! The average pricing advise help and the map feature together with the beautifully selected photos is astonishing.
One improvement would be to add a “Buddy Up” feature where two or more people can pool rent a while flat and communicate right here on the all allowing a seamless match to happen.

Movebubble think it is okay to send you advertising for third party services via push notifications. It is not. Unsolicited advertising is actually against App Store policy when using push notifications. Just because “everyone else does it” doesn’t make it right. Impossible to recommend this app given this blatant disregard for user privacy and respect.

It sends me notifications that properties are suitable and when I click on it it can’t connect and a message pops up saying to try later.

I’m happy with the app - it helped me find my new home in Chiswick and pay the security deposit straight after viewing it. I did have some technical issues with the app crashing and the letting agent not being able to open my offer so I had to make my offer twice (once using the app and again separately with the letting agent) so not 5 stars unfortunately!

However after requesting viewings for a number of places, they took so long to process and then got rejected. Fantastic app, but has the potential to do a lot more.
The app needs to have a 'Draw Map' feature, where you can draw lines or highlight areas that you want to look for property in. Just searching for areas on a list isn't always sufficient.
Another feature I'd like to see is the ability to set up numerous alerts for properties. As a student, I'm looking for house/flat between 2 and 5 bedrooms, however I can't set up alerts to reflect this. If I select that I'm looking for 2, 3 and 4+ bedrooms, I need different price ranges for each of these. Otherwise, if you put in a maximum budget of e.g. £4K/month (for 5 people), you often get notifications for really expensive 2 bedroom flats. So yeah, there needs to be the ability to allow alerts for multiple searches, or else you spend half of your day re-changing the search criteria!!

Lovely layout, fast saving options, very useful map area in the announcement - pity for the lack of 'look by area on a map' view. Very good for finding studios at the price you look, but lower your bar by 100£ because I found all agency have extra fees or rent at a higher price listed. Give yourself a 150£ cushion: if you can afford 1050£, look for 850/900£ places.
The app crashes when asking you to review visits, notifications bubbles that get stuck for days, and many landlords do not allow you to put in an offer via the app (not sure why).
Still, very happy with it and will spread the word/use again.

I can't believe an app like this hasn't always existed. We found a gorgeous flat within a week of using Move Bubble and had about 5-6 viewings via the app. It's easy to view, coordinate, and keep track of your search and it was a real novelty making an offer via an app while at Tesco! The customer service is also very good. Highly recommended.
