Live view is working for my system, but if I try to use playback, the calendar pops up and I get an endlessly spinning wheel, so I can’t select a date. Come on people, this is really basic stuff.
I can’t review playback at anytime this is so stupid you used to be able to apart from that it’s still great
I been struggling with the old Zsight App for years. I didn’t know this alternative existed. Doh!
Just switched to this and got a firmware update for my camera. Now like a new camera. Reliable connection every time!

Extremely happy you have finally given us the long overdue firmware update for older cameras, we’ve all paid money out on hardware, and to wait over 6 months is really poor.
My camera’s no longer connect. When they did connect, they did away with saving footage on the app for a paid cloud hosting. One of my camera’s lost connection to the app and cannot be set up again, another won’t upgrade firmware.
Works SO much better than the Zsight previous app. Works first time every time so far, and no ‘internet too slow’ messages.
Just keeps crashing on launch. What crap this company is. Shoot them.
Used MeShare previously which worked a treat. This forced Update doesn’t work and makes the camera unusable - avoid this (and their cameras)
Now that you can review motion alert clips with sound makes this worth every penny. Great to see the developers listening to their customers 5 stars.
Just some upstart company selling crap.
Spent an hour updating the app (removing the previous cameras that are linked to Meshare of course as it won't simply allow you to add them to the new app).
Now nothing works! Apparently "not good enough connection". It worked perfectly well before and when people mess around with things it's now worse. It wasn't broken so why fix it....
Massively disappointed thinking of chasing the entire system as it now feels cheap and nasty.....
Try getting your kids off to bed and relying on the very security system you paid for that now doesn't work- whilst they are running around I'm stuck on my iPad. Not impressed at all.
Ever since the update this is totally rubbish. I now have no access to my remote camera. All I get is try again later. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi. It is this bloody app.
I use Zmodo cameras, 3 in-fact (zh-ixd1d-wac) and used the Meshare app with mixed results over the last year. I updated to the Zmodo app 27.12.17 reluctantly having used the app before with terrible results, well this has been a huge plus for me. All the features within the app work vey well and without problems, must be a first please don’t update the app I’m sure it will ruin it! Ps at the time of the change to the Zmodo app the cameras firmware was also updated. One Happy customer.
Since being forced to this app from a very fit for purpose meshare app have had nothing but issues: 2 cameras being constantly asked to update but never completing, no motion detection, 1 camera won’t show anything now, and when i raised to the support was dismissed.
I’d be hoping the ZModo software dev team is overhauled after this debacle.
If the issues are not resolved soon i’ll be looking for compensation from ZModo as i now have home cameras that no longer work.
Downloaded the new app moved over from Meshare this made me update my camera device to the newer version and now my camera quality is poor like very bad! It’s like there is no night vision anymore and it’s dark and fuzzy very disappointed
Since New Year every time I go into the meShare app it tells me to use this Zmodo app but this app doesn't detect my cameras. Rubbish, fortunately the meshare app still works fine once you get past the annoying screen telling you to download this useless app. Grrrr!
This app never works on playback on the phone app!!! How many times can they get it so wrong ???
The best thing is to do is get on your own server!!!!

The new app say you need to up date the firmware when you do all you get is a blue circle going round and not a lot else thanks!!! 😡. Now all you have done is rendered this camera pointless and useless rip off!!!!!!’

New version is not working at all just crashes on launch. Remove and download again to fix. Alerts no longer work! Download MeShare App which looks like old version.
App no longer allows you to view alert clips. This renders it pretty useless. Cloud storage is not available for my model. Been sold something that no longer works. Rip off China.
I can no longer see the alerts. It notifies me that there is an alert but nothing can be seen in the alert part. The list can't appear.
Doesn't seem to save the 5 seconds of footage that it used to...i know they introduced the cloud feature (for a monthly fee 😡) but 1st my camera is not supported to use there cloud service and 2nd still thought you could watch the 5 second clips (every 24 hours)??

Another update to the app and now doesn't connect to the camera due to "bad connection" i thought things were meant to improve with app updates not get worse...old saying- "If its not broken...don't fix it"!!!
The app updated itself - looks very nice, but now all I can do is view the live feed from one of my four cameras. No alerts, no saved clips and no live feed from the other cameras. Hopeless.
Just realised this app upgraded itself and now half of the cool features that worked before are broken. What's with the default images of sofas rather than pics from the cameras. And the playback? All lost???
Worst. update. Ever. I didn't mind having to reinstall, but taking away the feature to view short clips of alerts?? It's not like the app was great in the first place.. Taking away key features is a terrible idea. Now I have to get a refund on the camera and just go with my first choice.

I can no longer see photos of the alerts because my device is now not compatible with the cloud and new app you are so proud of! Please fix this!
Worked well before the update now just crashes on app startup.

Great bit of software for remote viewing, would of had 5 stars if you could introduce remote restarting of system ( I'm pretty sure this used to be an option in earlier versions ), and have the thumbnail images update or refresh more frequently than they currently do.
REMOTE RESTART is essential when your cameras freeze , and you're not at home.. happened to me 3 times already and on more than one occasion I'm half way round the world asking a neighbour to restart the box is an issue....

One star is too much. Useless app continually shows "loading" when trying to connect to cameras. Support is non existent. Tried several times to make contactTo get it resolved and very slow and poor responses.

Warning. They are gradually removing ONVIF support from cameras in firmware updates (with no warning) to force users to use their own cloud service. This isn't safe!
The actual product is good. The only thing is, there is no way to turn motion detection off, so I get bombarded with around 20-30 notifications a day, which Is very annoying. Customer services is terrible. Waited about a week for a reply, then still did not even attempt to fix the problem or even answer my question. Looks like I might have to return for a refund !
Superb product. Easy to set up and easy to use. Will be buying more of the cameras!
Works perfectly and it's great. It would be great if you could have always on HD added to the setting so you would t have to switch to it manually.
Really looking forward to cloud storage to store footage. Hopefully it would be priced fairly. If that happens, I can add the extra 4 camera I always wanted.
