UPDATE HAS RUINED IT

The app used to let you pick a date and it had all your photos and videos from that date loaded. NOW it just goes to your normal camera roll, so you have to go back in your roll, sometimes almost an entire year or so, to try and find your memories from that day which completely defeats the purpose of the app?

Don’t waste your money

So many videos uploaded become corrupt on the app that it cannot even create a compilation of your moments using your photos or videos. The only solution from customer service is for you to go through every single video/photo, deleting and replacing until the compilation video works. Terrible app which is not capable to do as advertised.

Can’t upload videos, no customer support

After paying for premium and using the app for a few months all was working well, until recently when the app won’t allow me to upload videos and an error message appears. I messaged customer support many times but no reply whatsoever so unfortunately I would not recommend this app.

How to fix app error?

I have absolutely loved using this app!🥹

However, the message: “Too many index entries for entity” has popped up every single time I have tried to upload a new video onto the app.. 😭

Is there any way to fix this? I am as currently using the premium subscription and it hasn't seemed to help fix the issue..🥲

I have ended up deleting some videos from past months in hopes it would fix the problem, which is really upsetting💔

It would be such a shame if there is no solution as I literally use this app to document my daily life😭

deleted all my videos and can’t make new ones!

I love this app but it has a lot of issues since I updated the software on my iPhone, the app deleted all my videos and it won’t let me make new ones either - it comes up with an error message. It’s done this before and I let it slide because I enjoyed this app so much I bought the pro version hoping it won’t happen again but it did... I reached out but not heard anything in back in two weeks. I would like a refund please

Doesn’t work

Every time I try to create a video, so like for the month, when I go to share it, it just says error every-time. It won’t let me add any music, overall don’t think it’s that good for the £25. Seemed fine until I actually wanted to create a video then went downhill from there. Think there’s better apps out there for similar price, I only tried the free trial thankfully, so I’ll be cancelling so I don’t get charged.

everything requires money

(only rating up so people see this) i’m sorry but this is NOT a free app. if you want to do, basically anything, you need to pay a subscription which is stupidly expensive for a video journal app. it used to be a lot easier, too many updates and the creates got money hungry.

I used to love this app as a lovely way to look back at the year but it recently deleted all of my videos. I spent ages putting them all back in and I’ve just opened the app again only to find they’re gone again. Its good!

I quite like this app as it helps me see how my year has been and lets me add little bits of my day. However i think it would be great if it was more than 1 second and i could add music without having to pay a subscription, however, overall i very much like this app :) ♡

What is happening?

I have purchased the pro edition and this is the third time now that my 1 seconds are vanishing from the day. I’ve been filling it in and somehow, I’m missing days in June, July, August, half of September and almost all of October. This needs to be fixed as it’s becoming an absolute joke now.

I love it! (but...)

This is without a doubt my favourite app! I take so much pride in showing people my video of the days.

However for some reason, on the 8th August, I always try to add my Live Photo in which usually works as the majority of my nearly 300 videos are from Live Photos. But it doesn’t work! I’ve got 2 photos from that day and neither work. My sister has the same problem on her phone with the 8th August! It must be some issue with that particular day. So I’m wondering if this can possibly be fixed?

Simple and fun little app!

Great app I made a video of my travels whilst away on my gap year. I would say it’s slightly annoying that you have to add the music every time you go into the app also it can’t crop stuff to portrait size for you so I got a second app called video crop so that I could crop some go pro videos to portrait size so that I could fit it into the app without it looking weird. After playing around with percentages I managed to fit each clip perfectly and the video produced was great! Last thing is that sometimes it said it was loading clip but when I exited it after waiting ages it was there already! I exited it every time it had the loading box and was fine but perhaps a glitch that they need to fix with the app!

Incredibly disappointed

I have been using leap second for over a year and had videos for nearly every single day and even paid for the original pro version which meant you could select videos from different dates. When I updated the app recently and the new pro version with cloud storage was available, I thought it would be fine, however all my videos have been and it’s incredibly disappointing

Annoying glitch?

I’ve been recording for a month, with about 20 videos stored on the app. However I opened the app 1st day of February and all of my videos are gone without me doing anything. Disappointing

The app was working wonderfully, I had no problems and was excited to complete a whole video with a years worth of clips. However, after only having a months worth of videos, I went onto the app to find they were all gone. I cannot remake the video as I no longer have some of the clips saved to my camera roll and none of it will be on the right dates. Had high hopes for the app, but very disappointed. i’m sorry but this is not a good app. it was great while I had it, I could upload videos for each day without any problems. But after the first month, EVERYTHING disappeared. So I have been using Leap Second for the whole year adding a second per day. I have my on automated update on the apps. Presumably Leap Second updated and I have now lost my entire years worth of pictures/photos :( can’t believe that I’ll have to go in and add them back in for everyday

Half my videos, GONE!

Been using the app for nearly a year now and was really loving it. I went traveling around 6 months ago and have been using the app to record everything I got up to each day. UNFORTUNATELY after doing the most recent update around half of my videos have randomly disappeared. It now appears I cannot use my iPhone “live photos” as videos for the app and therefore they have now all gone and I cannot reads them. I am so upset.

It’s alright , i was very happy when saw it was free until I got it and I had to pay to add music or any other key features. If I were you I would get a different app that did the same thing. Unless you were willing to pay £4.99.

The app deleted all my videos :(

I opened the app one day greeted with the message that Leap Second would no longer store all my videos on the app. I clicked to continue and none of my seconds were there. It stated that my videos would be stored in an album on my camera roll but there was nothing saved to my camera roll from Leap Second.

Love it

I had this app about a year ago but deleted it because all the videos were being saved to my camera roll and I found it very annoying but I was looking through all the apps I used to have and thought I’d give it another try and found that you could change that so they are stored on the app. I now love it- it’s so artsy and such a laugh. I love watching back- so cute. I would recommend this to anyone!!!!

Needs improvement

Is a decent app when it actually does what it's supposed to. However, sometimes all videos will delete randomly, meaning going back and re-trimming months of videos, or even losing videos. Would be great if it had a back up button or option to upload all to cloud, because if you switch phones mid-year, that's months of lost videos

I was really enjoying the app and had done almost two months of clips and was very happy with my video. What’s happened?? Help!!

I have kept up with my second a day since the 1 of Jan 2018, and filled in every single day... and now they’re all gone! Every single day has gone and it’s an empty calendar! What’s happened? I am devastated and was always worried this would happen but I didn’t expect it to! Can anyone help? I would have left a 4/5 star review if this hadn’t been the case.

Disappearing videos

The app itself is a cool idea but it occasionally deletes all of the videos I’ve trimmed. Since I have a good two months of videos all done, having to trim them again and again is tedious and irritating. Please fix this.

Love this app!

I really like using this app because you can put photos/videos from everyday of the year together to look back on. I’ve been trying to take a photo/video everyday and so when the year is over I can look back on all my memories!

The only problem with the app is once you put a photo/video on the calendar the only way to remove it is to delete in from your camera roll.

Enjoying it - but some annoying things

I’m finding it quite fun and challenging to make a 1-Second video every day! The only downside is that if you want to upload a video from a different day you have to pay - today I asked my bf to send me a video he took last night so I could make yesterday’s leap second, but when it came through to me the date stamp thought it was taken today. Also portrait videos look a bit weird, I wish there was a background or something available to cover up the black sides. Apart from that it’s fine :)

A great app and a brilliant alternative to the expensive ones out there! :)

One issue - you can’t remove a video from your calendar if you select the wrong one. The only option is to completely delete it from your iCloud and camera roll - not ideal!
