In this innovative puzzle RPG, build a path of tiles to escape each successive cycle of your dreamscape. A cycle gets more dangerous the longer you stay, so plan your route carefully, and make the most of the challenges and opportunities you meet along the way.

Place tiles to boost your attack and defence, defeat enemies to level up your character, and upgrade the right perks to stay safe as your enemies grow stronger. Take a detour off the direct pathway to discover the items that may give you an edge, but watch out for the powerful special enemies that grow more frequent as you near the exit - if left untended, their unique abilities will quickly spell your doom.

Great but give it time

I've played 7 or 8 games and I've gone from having no idea what was going on to really enjoying it. There are still some fundamental things which I'm struggling with (such as how armour and health work together) but I've pretty much worked out all the core mechanics. The tutorial is severely lacking and the game ramps up in difficulty really fast. That said it is quite fun working out what's going on and I wonder if this was a deliberate decision. There are loads of perks, enemies and tactical decisions. Things can change really fast too which makes things interesting. Getting good perks early is essential to have a good game.

Simple, frustrating, addictive

Worth every penny. It is not an easy game and can be cruel. But each time you get a little further before the RNG punishes you and you just can't help it... One more game...

It takes a few games to get the hang of but is worth the effort. One of the rare games I will still be playing this time next year

Decent, compelling Rogue-type tile layer with a few flaws

This is an addictive, simple to play, "just one more go" tile layer, with adventure/RP type move/asset/skills optimization engine attached.

Strengths all of the above. Weaknesses - a crucifying difficulty curve on "normal" which makes getting much beyond 2 levels almost impossible (except with very rare luck), no matter how hard you try.

As a result what could be absorbing quickly becomes punishing. Which is a shame because at its heart it's not a bad game at a all.

What is going on?

This game just makes no sense. I have no idea what is going on. Dull too. You lay cards to make a path, and sometimes something else follows that path after you, but most of the time it doesn't. So you just keep putting down tile after tile with no obvious outcome.

Seems great so far

It made me discover Dungeon Raid by the same developer which is fantastic! In longing for version 2 of that now for modern phones. But this seems like a slower version of that with very original gameplay.

Well done devs for answering my request in the last review to auto-rotate tiles to the exit. Superb and more improvements to boot!
