Description

MYPEUGEOT, the application for PEUGEOT owners, allows you to connect to your vehicle with your smartphone. It has been designed with integrated technologies to enhance your PEUGEOT driving experience before, during and after each journey.
Before: The location of your parked PEUGEOT vehicle is displayed on a map along with your current location, helping you to find it more easily*.
During: The app tracks your journeys and monitors the distance, fuel consumption and driving efficiency of each journey*^.
After: Once you’ve parked your PEUGEOT vehicle, the app can help you to navigate the way to your final destination on foot*^.
The MYPEUGEOT application will display data specific to your vehicle including the fuel level^, mileage^ and reminders of when scheduled servicing is due.
MYPEUGEOT also offers several other helpful features:
- Manage multiple PEUGEOT vehicles in the same application.
- Locate nearby PEUGEOT dealerships and their contact details.
- PEUGEOT news and offers relevant to you.
For added convenience, MYPEUGEOT also provides you with all of the useful telephone numbers, allowing you to easily get in touch with PEUGEOT Assistance, Contact PEUGEOT and PEUGEOT dealerships.
All PEUGEOT models are compatible with the MyPEUGEOT application. However, if your PEUGEOT is not equipped with Bluetooth, the ‘Driving’ tab (which provides details of your journeys, fuel consumption and mileage) is not displayed. You can still enjoy all of the other features of the app.

Garbage

Update - I’ve deleted it!!
Constantly logs out, refuses to let you log back in again unless you’re at home on WiFi.
Constantly ignores trips. Just doesn’t bother logging them; map updates with correct location, but how you got there the App doesn’t report.
Currently my App is refusing to get past the ‘login’ screen.
Thank God I didn’t subscribe to all the bells and whistles as they would have been pointless.
Just not worth the hassle.

Terrible terrible app

Clunky, lags. Doesn’t connect to the car. The fact that they charge a fee to be able to remotely set your car to charge is farcical. Good luck trying to update the firmware on anything inside the cars infotainment system. Shocking.

Pretty awful

The App is almost totally useless. 9 times out of 10 it fails to connect to the car, no matter how many re-boots I give it. Almost impossible means to monitor car charging or set charging times or remote operations. This app is not fit for purpose - don’t bother, it is absolutely frustrating!

Just appalling

How can an app for a global car manufacturer be so terrible? This app wants you to login every time you get into your car. WTAF? Totally unstable keeps kicking you out, I want to pin or a password for virtually anything. Some of the facilities and features are great ideas, just poorly executed. I can only imagine it’s a French team developing and supporting this app and most of the updates are made after a long lunch involving several bottles of wine. I presume also that none of those responsible for the app actually drive a car? Dire.

Useless

Apart from the first day I used it, it’s never connected with my e-3008 so the app is pointless. Now, the last few months, it won’t even let me past the sign in page. Really disappointing, as I used the VW app on my last car all the time and hoped to do the same with this car, but it simply doesn’t work.

My mind is blown by how well this app is rated. So many bugs. Barely works. I share the car with my wife so it’s impossible to run it across two devices. The app alone will stop me from buying a Peugeot ever again.

Terrible

It’s like Peugeot don’t believe more than one person can use a car. The car itself has multiple profiles of driving but the app doesn’t allow two people to use and control their car.
The app constantly signs us out and asks to sign back in at the most inconvenient times. The app freezes constantly and takes forever to carry out a command like Pre-Conditioning. Lots of time wasted, frustrating and clunky.
Our car itself is great but if I’d known we had to download a rubbish app to accompany it I’d have seriously reconsidered the brand of car we bought

I’ve deleted this app

I’ve just deleted the app. I’ve given up on it; it keeps logging me out, it has stopped recording my journeys and when it was working it often refused to connect to my phone. Very frustrating and to be honest, I can keep a track of my mileage and fuel consumption when I fill up, so the hassle is not worth the rewards.

Never works

I got this app to go along with my brand-new Peugeot 3008. I love the car. The app is terrible. This is the first time I have ever left a review for an app but this one is so bad. I felt the need to leave a review. Save yourself a time in the hassle and just stay away from it.

Literally awful

Worst app I’ve ever used. Glitchy, slow, constantly logs you out and then wont let you sign back in. I’d say remote features work about 15% of the time and seemingly never when you really need them (ie pre-warming car on a cold morning). Despite updates, Peugeot continues to fail miserably with this app. Not fit for purpose.

Hardly works

I’m so fed up of being constantly logged out of the app and loose the ability to track my journeys and maintenance etc. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it so many times and it still won’t let me log in. Useful but…

1) Slow.
2) Login experience bad. Frequently logs out even if you opt to stay signed in. Then have to go through app set-up all over again. Just keep me signed in and I can secure both my phone and the app with FaceID / TouchID. Anyone there heard of Passkeys and biometrics?
3) Why do I need a separate code once logged in to authorise certain actions when already signed in? Again, use biometrics if you insist on locking down functions when already signed in.
4) Loads of wasted screen space from a picture of my car. I know what it looks like, thanks. Use the space for something more practical.
5) Did I mention it’s slow?
6) In short, user experience could be much improved.

Non working app

Useless

Terrible app. always logs you out despite selecting keep logged in, drops connection, fails to communicate with car half the time and has barely any EV usage stats functionality, which is quite essential. Why Bother!!!

Worst App I have ever come across! Constantly logs you out, tells you it’s disabled you for security reasons and to log back in. Deleting and reinstalling does nothing. Hangs constantly on sign up through webpage. If you want people to buy your cars make sure you can support it with an app that works!!

Not good enough

When the app works, it’s ok but very hit or miss. Currently fails to log in with different errors each time. Had this app for 2 vehicles for over 4 years and it’s never been good.

Dreadful app

I’m a patient enough person but this app takes all my willpower, will it work, won’t it work, I just never know. Error messages, failed log ins, screen pages loading and reloading and going nowhere. The pre-conditioning is excellent when it works. I have to switch it on manually because it never switches on by the schedule and so when the app fails the pre-conditioning fails and that’s more frustrating on cold mornings. I did reach out to Peugeot Customer Care in Nov 2025, we exchanged phone calls and emails, it got better for a while, they did acknowledge that there were problems with the app and their team were addressing them, yet I’m back to where I started. The app needs fixing, a one star rating is all it deserves from me.

Got the 3008 hybrid estate brand new in august the app has been useless since then. Now it’s signed me out said my account has been suspended I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times I can’t get past the terms and conditions page. I won’t be paying for this any longer.

Impossible to sign in

I’ve been struggling with this app for quite a few months now. If I knew any other way of checking the charging/battery life through the distance I would not waste my time trying. For the past few weeks it would not even log me in. Every time I press something to action it spins for a minute and brings me back to sign in page. I cannot even contact assistance through the app as it’s not available on the sign up/sign in page which is the only screen I get to see.

Please make this App less awful

And as an update, today - several weeks later- this is unusable again. Certificate error. Told to update. Updated. Still not working. Bloody hopeless.
Today this is unusable. Asked to reauthenticate but threw a technical error twice. Is slow. It is unreliable. It constantly asks for authentication but only after a long pause, and authentication via password takes minutes and frequently fails. The info takes so long to refresh. Literally every other brand is vastly superior. Look at Volvo. Or BMW. Or Ford. All so much better. I genuinely do not understand how after many years it is so poor. Get a grip Peugeot.

Temperamental

The app randomly logs out and then on some days doesn’t connect to the vehicle. Currently the app will not open at all as it is saying the certificate has expired and I need to update the app but there is no update!!

Frustrating

Tired of having to login and find connectivity issues. I do not use Safari, and my default browser is Chrome, yet this app insists on using Safari on iPhone to perform the login process!

Poor connectivity

Bravo guys! You’ve made the app even better by making me not even able to log in and use it! Come on guys this is simple foundational stuff. Other car companies are doing way better than this. When I eventually get in I hope to see less timeout issues and some actual useful functionality.

Awful

Ridiculous app that doesn’t even log you in to see any information at all. Deleted the app, signed back in which took 10mins for it to then tell me a Certificate had expired and need to update it, it doesn’t even allow me to update the app. Even when I was able to get into the app, the information shown wasn’t even true.

When will this app work?

Unfortunately like others this app is disgraceful, constantly logs me out,now won’t allow me to login,when it has worked it missed journeys including my car being in a different location despite me being in the car. Constantly fails to connect to vehicle

The constant connection issues to the vehicle render this app unreliable and basically useless. It’s not a reliable form of accessing any functionality if the vehicle connection fails so frequently. I would estimate it fails to connect approximately 85-90% of the time.

“Expired certificate For security reasons, your account has been disabled. Please update your app”

Trying to log on, I get this message and am invited to Update. I press the Update button and am taken to the App Store. I reopen the app. No change. I delete my own app and reinstall from the App Store (to guarantee I have the latest version, 1.51.1). No better: I manage to log in but after 1-2 sec get the message before I can see or do anything useful.

Worst app I’ve ever encountered

You spend £50k on a car and it has the worst app you’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Constant glitching, disconnecting, the most temperamental and unpredictable, useless technology. Want to precondition? Check the battery/charge? Check it’s locked? Maybe today, but probably not tomorrow and then it’ll think about the day after, depends how it feels?! -Oh and don’t remind me that I’m still paying monthly for all that pleasure too. Just so I can have the live traffic updates and map services that aren’t overly accurate either. But that’s a different story for another day.
And no Peugeot app developers. I still do not want to be contacted to discuss my issues. You know the issues, they’ve been the same for a loooong time now. Just pop onto a few of the Facebook pages and have a read on there. Overhaul it or be expecting customers to go elsewhere sadly. I’ve used far superior technology on considerably cheaper cars! It’s unacceptable I’m afraid.

Good but connection temperamental

App is good but connecting to car is not always straight forward, as it struggles to link (using a iPhone 16). Just had to delete app and install again to connect. The biggest feature which is letting down Peugeot and the app is not being able to control the end charging percentage, this is a big flaw. We’re recommended to keep batteries between 10-80%, but you do not have the function to limit the charge (even very old Nissan Leaf’s do it). I have a good charger (Hypervolt) which allows me to set times, but it’s still a bit of a guessing game to limit how long I need to charge via the charger - shouldn’t have to try and work out approx charge per hour for a rough percentage (my maths late at night when plugging in, isn’t great). Please please can app developer and Peugeot talk and sort this out as they’re behind the game compared to 1st generation EV’s which came out 15 years ago.

Getting worse. Pompeybob

This app is getting worse. Three years ago when I first got my Peugeot 208 It was not the best and after reporting many times, I gave up. Then for a shot while it started to improve and early this year it was slightly better. Now in the last month it is getting bad again. I can’t believe Peugeot can put out such a bad app. It has put me off upgrading my car or even thinking about an electric Peugeot. Unless this app works properly, it is pointless.
Nov 2024 it’s slightly better, but not reliable. Still needs to work every time to be useful. Feb. 2025 Still not working properly. A disgrace. Puts me off buying new Peugeot.
Aug 2025. I given up with this app. It is so unreliable.
I’m getting a new electric car and it won’t be a Peugeot. After reading the reports people have written about problems with their app on their electric Peugeot car. It’s put me off.

App completely Useless

Update - Since writing review below I have been contacted and asked to contact the same people who have not fixed the issue since last November.
I took delivery of my 3008 Hybrid in the middle of November last year. Connected Services would not connect and did not work correctly.
I contacted Peugeot, within 24 hours,who said the problem was fixed. Nothing has changed. They opened a new case and said it was fixed. nothing has changed. There has been no feedback whatsoever. I called again today to be told that they were looking into it. Is it reasonable that I have a car with connected services and the connected serviced do not work correctly. They say there is nothing more we can do. It is under investigation. I asked when I may get a response and was told it was under investigation.
May be of interest I requested Manager Callback after a week nothing. I called back told that Managers are very busy. Will call back when they have time. I have contacted Customer relations on several occasions, no help whatsoever.

There is no way this app is genuinely getting 4.5

I’ve had Peugeot’s on this app since 2018, 2 cars now, and it is completely useless. It logs you out almost every time you try and use it, when you log back in it makes you reset your passcode via text message. Even if it worked perfectly what can you do on it? It’s charging it stops charging for a bit, it won’t tell you the charge automatically you have to refresh, as soon as you do you get a message saying charge interrupted. If you try and turn on aircon it often fails, come back with “command failed” and you have to keep trying and you never know if it worked. Don’t tell me to “contact you”, I’ve tried, nothing happened. What are you going to do, somehow make the useless app / connectivity suddenly work? Look at most of the reviews, it’s appalling. Actually love the car though, app aside it’s great. Would get a Peugeot again, but do not expect an app that works.

Disappointing Experience – Needs Major Improvement

In my experience, the MyPeugeot app has been consistently unreliable. Almost every remote command fails to send to the vehicle, including one of the most important features — pre-climate control. Even when pre-set and recognised by the car, the climate command never activates.
I recently switched to a Peugeot E-3008 after years of driving Mercedes vehicles, and I must say the contrast in app performance is stark. The Mercedes app was flawless across multiple models — remote commands worked instantly, from finding the car to adjusting climate and even opening windows.
Unfortunately, with the MyPeugeot app, it feels like nothing works as it should. The app seems more like a beta version rather than a refined tool for vehicle management. It needs a serious overhaul if it’s to meet the expectations of modern EV drivers who rely heavily on app integration.

Possibly the worst app I've ever used (STOP IT AUTOLAUNCHING PLEASE!)

I don't normally write reviews but this app has annoyed me so much that I felt obliged to give feedback. The connection to the car is so flakey and takes so long I've usually made it to the car before it's even connected so half the features are useless, it repeatedly asks me to log back in which in itself is a serious pain and takes forever. The app auto launches TWICE every time I enter the car, once when it connects to Bluetooth and once when it's plugged in for CarPlay, which is utterly pointless as once I'm inside of the car there's absolutely no reason to use the very limited features of the app because I'm inside of the car that has all the buttons (I'm begging you to change this feature it's soooo annoying). The app is buggy, unresponsive and unreliable. I honestly think I'd be happier if I never knew this app existed. Please pay an actual qualified developer to fix this abysmal app PLEASE

Horrible application

Please take some time to develop this application fully. Previously owned a Tesla and their application was flawless, very easy to use, loads of features and overall very reliable. This app is like a Temu version. Very unstable, the remote command alert mostly fails and is very slow. Data is unreliable, showing the car as unlocked when it’s locked. Another example of the app failing is I’m sat in the dentist now and I’m sure I locked my car which is currently on charge, opened the app to check, the app can see that the car is charging and refreshes data, but is reporting the car is unlocked. I’ve pressed the lock command but it just fails so I’m now sat here concerned. Honestly a bit of a joke and needs some proper development. Please look at the Tesla app.

Absolutely awful, don't waste your time

The app is woefully inadequate. I have used it since October 2024, and paid for the additional services between October-January. Like other reviews, the app constantly and persistently fails to connect to the car meaning you can't control the charging, climate etc (ie., the features behind the paywall) and you go round and round in circles of frustration. At least 3 times the app has completely dropped the connection to my car and I've had to do the whole '3 journeys of 15 minutes or more' to reconnect it. The fact that basic functions are behind a paywall is a disgrace. I have already paid for the car, I have already paid to install an EV charger at home and I already pay for the electricity used to charge it. WHY THEN DO I ALSO HAVE TO PAY TO SCHEDULE THE ACTUAL CHARGING OF THE CAR???? Finally, I could not care less about the journey I've just been on in my car, I don't need 6000 notifications about it. And yes, I have turned off those notifications but when I do that, it perpetuates the connection problems thus leaving me no choice but to feel hassled by the app telling me where I've just been. What a complete disaster this entire thing is.

Terrible app

I have an e2008 and should be able to check my state of charge status using this app. However I have to refresh the app several times, or sometimes have to close it and open it many times before it gives an accurate reading. Or some days it doesn’t sync at all, telling me the car is unplugged even though I’ve just plugged it in to charge, refreshed the app, closed it, updated it, closed it, refreshed it again and still giving inaccurate info! And there isn’t any option to set the car to stop charging once it reaches 80%, as recommended in their own guidelines. Despite the fact that the app is in theory able to tell you the charge rate and allow you to stop or schedule a start time. Why can’t it stop at a certain charge rate like every other electric car?! Instead I have to guess how long it will take to get to 80% and set alarms to remind me to unplug it. Absolutely the worst app ever. Completely useless and no updates have resolved these issues. Utterly unreliable and provides inaccurate information.

We were advised to set up the app, which took about 40 minutes with more layers of security i have seen in any app, then a few days later the password mysteriously stopped working, when we reset it we just got sent back to log in screen with no clue what the problem is - password is correct, restarting app and / or phone does not work. Even when it works, the app just seems to be a portal to Peugeot webpage. Worst thing is, the manual is stuck on the app, so we are pretty stuffed without it. Not that the ‘ manual’ was very informative- ‘ for air conditioning, turn on air conditioner’ sort of thing. we will log an issue with the developers but looking at recen reviews they will already be well aware theres a problem

Disappointing App for an Electric Car in 2024

I’ve had my new Peugeot for three weeks, and the app has worked as expected maybe twice in that time. At best, it shows the last known state of charge—when it actually connects. More often, I get errors about failed connections and have to refresh multiple times just to get outdated information.
For an electric car in 2024, it’s frustrating that the app can’t reliably provide up-to-date details when refreshed. Remote features are no better; they only work about 40% of the time.
I’ve logged a support request with Peugeot, but their response has been slow and not particularly helpful. The technical team has been “looking into it” for weeks, yet there’s no resolution in sight.
I’m currently on the free trial, but I can’t imagine why anyone would pay £10 per month for such an unreliable service. It’s essential to be able to see real-time stats when charging or traveling with an electric car, and it’s disappointing that Peugeot is charging extra for an app that barely works.
Had I known the app was this bad, I might have reconsidered getting the vehicle
Update 25/10 - developer response was to call the customer care for an update on my logged case. I have chased this up repeatedly with them stating it’s being looked at as a matter of urgency, yet weeks with no resolution!

Worst app I’ve ever used

This is the worst app I’ve ever used and the Stellantis Remote Services (RS) the worst of any manufacturer. All it can do is query the state of charge (SiC) and turn preconditioning on and off. It fails to even connect to the car about 25%-30% of the time. When it does, the SoC is out of date and you need to manually refresh the data, which takes forever or similarly often fails to connect. Stellantis regularly denies access until you reset your password - happened to me twice in the last three weeks. And then the reset failed. All the time locking me out of the RS until I have it another try later. If you share the car, only one device can have access to RS. When I tried to set it up on my partner’s mobile it unsubscribed me from RS completely. As of this year, Stellantis now charge a subscription to RS. It’s not worth it. In fact I should be charging them for field testing their inept app implementation. And if access to remote services is important to you, then think twice about buying a Stellantis car at all.
Update: The app has now stopped showing the state of charge and I can’t use the preconditioning function. Yes, I have raised this via the app as indicated in the response, providing all the screenshots and platform details. Three weeks later, it’s still not been resolved.

Doing my head in

This app is the bane of my driving and charging existence. At least 85% of the time it fails to connect to my car without rebooting the app. About 20% of the time, no amount of refreshing or rebooting helps—it just won’t connect to my car, period.
I never know when it’s going to decide that it’s just not going to update my charging status. I’m afraid to try delayed charging, because I don’t trust that I’ll wake up to a charged car! I never know when the climate control is going to work or not. Locking remotely? Please… ERoutes? I’ve given up.
I desperately need this app, if for nothing else than charging management. Yet, it keeps letting me down. One of the most buggy, frustrating apps I have ever used. Please do some work on it!

The worst app I have ever tried to use

I am just fed up with this usrless app
1. Using it in conjunction with Apple CarPlay it insists I sign on before a journey. As my password is generated by a password manager and the app does not link with it it means opening the password manager copying the password and then pasting it into the app. Signing on will last a week or two and then we go through the process again. Who needs to go through this just to set off for each journey to the shops
2. About a month ago when signing on I got a message say g general server error and have not been able to sign on again.
3 This morning I tried to sign on and was forced to reset my password. This tells me there has been a major failure in the authentication process and I cannot have been the only person to be affected. I changed my password and it just loops round telling me to reset my password again. If I ignore this and try to sign on I get invalid login.
4. My car arrives without a handbook, but the app barely covers 25% of a handbook.
How anyone who uses this app can rate it as more than 1 I don’t know. Last time I had any response it was put down to the fault of Apple.

Still buggy, still poor

I’ve been using this app for nearly 3 years now and I can’t think of a single thing that has improved in the app during this time. It regularly fails to connect to my vehicle, therefore not showing updated battery status. This makes it fairly useless as an app. The best aspect of it is the pre-conditioning which does seem to be fairly reliable - so that’s what the two stars are awarded for. But otherwise it’s just too buggy, frustrating, needing regular manual refreshing which only works some of the time. I really wish Peugeot had been able to improve things a bit more during the past 3 years. All we’ve seen is an icon change and a font change - both of which are brand changes and not tangible improvements for us users and Peugeot owners.

Avoid this at all costs as it will depress you

I tried, I mean a French system in France has to be ok right?. This app is the worst app I have ever used, this year I updated the app and the car to the latest upgrade version and set a route.
Off the ferry and on my way to the first charger recommend, 20% battery state, I arrived at the charger. An empty field in the middle of nowhere. I called Peugeot support using the SOS button and was put into a Hold, 45 minutes later we discovered that the Peugeot support was actually just a call centre that would call the French version of the RAC. Pathetic response and waste of time. I ended up searching for Lidl’s as they have chargers. These are rarely on the app at all. The route planner and the vehicle built in planner assumes that I need a petrol/diesel station and only shows these on the sat nav system. I have a case for this issue but Peugeot refuse to accept the issue. Have to say that this will be my last Peugeot. The software is very much required to be accurate on an EV.

Unreliable connection and login

I honestly try to keep positive but i’m now close to uninstalling this app. I’ve found recently that it now asks every time to connect via bluetooth which is irritating and it’s 50/50 if i get past the login screen. After each ios and peugeot update this seems to be getting worse.
Once you’re logged in, it still contains some good information about your driving and when the vehicle touch screen system has an update.
Unfortunately, with my car that once you connect via carplay the bluetooth disconnects anyway - so i rarely remember to sync to the app 🤪 not sure if this is caused by the app or the navigation system? It would be much better if the app can continue working when connected to carplay.

Awful app

This is honestly one of the worst apps I've ever had the misfortune to have to use. Aside from the fact it hardly ever connects, logs you out constantly, doesn't show the actual charge on the car until you refresh about 5 times, tells you your vehicle is underground and can't connect for no reason... it's just generally awful functionality! How on earth is there STILL not an option to set a time to stop the charge?!? If using a cheaper electricity rate to charge, I don't want to have to set an alarm to switch the app to "delay charge" in order to stop it. Furthermore, when the app doesn't connect for the 50th time of refreshing, I don't want to have to get up in the middle of the night to manually stop the charge myself!
I don't understand how an app by a company as big as Peugeot is so badly executed! It really needs improving drastically!

Good for the car handbook nothing else

This app gives me access to my new car’s handbook. And that’s it. It is supposed to connect and log my journeys. And give an update as to my 308’s mileage. It worked twice. My first two journeys are there and the car’s location was correct. It’s never worked since. It does not record journeys. It does not update the car’s mileage. It does not show the car’s correct location. I’ve reinstalled the app. I have paired and un-paired. I have tried starting the car with the app open and opening the app after. I’ve tried with Car Play active and with Car Play inactive. I’ve tried initiating the Bluetooth connection from the car and I’ve tried initiating it from the phone. Nothing works. I’ve tried driving around with the app open and I’ve tried with it closed. Occasionally the app says “connected to car” but does nothing else. I’ve tried setting the Sat nab from the app. I get the “next time it connects to car it will update” message. And then nothing. Once I got something badly-translated which meant “sending details to car” but after 5 minutes of nothing I just forced closed the app. Suffice to say it does not work. It does not do what it claims to do, and therefore it’s a one-star and I won’t be using it.

Just awful!

This app is just awful. By far the worst car app I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few cars in my time).
The main purpose of this app, for me, is to see the current charge status of my EV car. Yet every time I open the app it either crashes or doesn’t update the time and date so I can see the charge status in real time.
My car is currently on charge, I know it is because I’m paying for the electric, the car is flashing to say it’s charging as the dashboard says it’s charging as well however, the app, hasn’t updated since 16:55 and it’s now currently, 21:03. I’ve tried pulling the screen now to force refresh, pressed the refresh button. Deleted the app and installed it again with no luck either. There’s so many things that either don’t work or are useless on this app but this is just the main one for me.
It’s also REALLY annoying that my phone (iPhone 11 pro) asks to connect to my car EACH AND EVERY TIME I connect it via USB. But I’m assuming that’s an iPhone thing as surely there can’t be anymore issues with this app!
I spent so much on this EV car that I now can’t even use one of the most important features of the app to go with the expensive car!

Should be much better than it is

Ok, as a major global car manufacturer you need to address this app and its flaws.
1. Why does it need to constantly ask for approval to connect to bluetooth every time i turn the car on. Is should be an automated process once approval has been given on set up.
2. How can you not justify making this app EV specific? I dont need to know any options regarding an ICE.
3. Charging. According to peugeot documentation the optimal charge range is between 20% and 80%, so why do you not provide the option automatically stop the charge at 80%?
4. I like to option of setting up my next destination in the app but whats the point when it doesnt communicate the instruction when connected to the car?
5. Auto hand brake. Yes this isnt app specific but more of a car software issue. Surely this can get an app update to apply the brake when stationary as opposed to flicking the handbrake on. Ive had it on previous cars, granted not peugot but if other manufacturers can do it so can peugot.
Like the app and the car but you can make it so much better.

Blocked pop-ups

I’m trying to add the eRemote Control but subscription is pending, and I can’t access the Read More link because it’s telling me my browser blocks pop-ups. Pop-ups are not blocked in my Safari app, and open from any other app. I have no idea why my subscription to view charge status - frankly the only useful part of an app like this - is pending, not complete, and I can’t find out!
Also, the map widget doesn’t load a route to let me see what it has planned for me. Seemingly it will launch when I get into the car, but I want to see the proposed route now, with my phone in my hand, and so I can see available charge points en route.
So far not impressed with the app.

Good in parts

Having just taken delivery of a new car, the dealership told me to install this app. Which is fine. I’m finding it interesting - if a little scary given current fuel prices - to see how much the journeys cost, but get very frustrated at how poorly they are logged. I’ve made 2 long drives for work recently, give permission to track - and seriously, do you have to ask me every time I get in the car? - and neither has registered. Just when the data would have been most useful it lets you down.
So while I can see the potential, and I’m sure other functions will be very helpful in due course, I do think there is still some work to do for this app to be truly good.

Journey logging doesn’t work.

As other users have reported, journey logging is hopeless. For there to be a chance of it working, you have to open the app before starting the car. Then, if you plug your phone in, to use car play, you have to make sure you unplug the phone and bring the app up before switching the car off. Even then, for me, only about 1 journey in 5 is recorded. Completely useless. This is on a brand spanking new car. There must be so many millions of Peugeot drivers out there (and I assume Citroen, DS and now Opel and Vauxhall are using the same technology) and journey logging doesn’t work? The charging section of the app works well enough, although it would be nice if it updated the state of charge every 15 minutes, say, so you don’t have to refresh it.

Needs more work.

Not a bad app but still needs work. Do something with the bluetooth please. I’m giving permission to connect and record the journey every time. Make it happen automatically?
It is connected via bluetooth and the plug in the usb to go in car play mode. No! The car decides that it’s ok to stay connected with bluetooth. Who I am to think otherwise?
Update the maps or the system.
I have to download everything on a usb stick (maybe 30 minutes) which has to be at least 16gb and then start up the car, plug in the usb, keep the engine running in the driveway and wait there for an hour give or take. The car has build in wifi. Why not use it directly to my home router to download the update install it directly and make my life easier?
Least but not last, improve the app with car status. Did I lock it? Maybe I can check the app and find out but no. The journeys are not the most important thing on the app. Maybe car status with remote lock/unlock through the app would be nice. Think about it.

Not worth using

The app has many problems.
You can’t monitor charging most days, it just stays at zero and on days when it does refresh the data is wrong, if you refresh again the data is totally different.
There’s never, ever been close to the 41 mile range Peugot state is possible.
Petrol level has never shown accurate.
Even on buying the car they fitted the wrong onboard charger so limited to 3.1KWH.
The journey planner rarely transferred by Bluetooth and the trips, in 3 months have only recorded 7.
All in all it’s no use, I have to walk to the car and disturb the charge to monitor progress or take the estimate time on leaving vehivcle to move it from charging bay to avoid getting a ticket.
Disappointed just as when buying the car with wrong parts and 21 miles electric range, half what they claim. Was thinking buying the wife an E208 with 217 miles range but on real life this would work out 120 miles or so, assuming of course the car worked okay and fitted with parts they said they would fit.
Was offered a wall charger for £150 then 3 weeks later told I couldn’t have it, NA to plug in hybrids, yeah thanks.

Really a long way to go to be more than basic

Have a new e208 and this app is just so basic - a shame as the car is simply brilliant. The ONLY 2 useful things that works is turning on climate control and check charging status. Compared to say Tesla this app is in the dark ages.
Here are some examples.
1. Why do i have to confirm the Bluetooth connection everytime i connect via usb? Without this Apple car play will not work and it doesn't record the trip.
2. You can Search destination on app but cannot SEND to vehicle! You can save to favourites and then it will appear on car navigation
3. No wireless carplay. Even with wired carplay it randomly won't work and you have disconnect and reconnect the usb cable.
4. No Remote lock / check status. In fact no remote car control other than turning on remote charging and turn on climate control
5. The car has in car tomtom navigation app but I cannot link to my phone tomtom account so i can't sync my favourites / recent destination
6. To check latest battery charging status, the page for this in app doesnt auto update, i have to refresh the page - takes time - sends an omnious notification that charging is interrupted and then shows updated status and resumes charging
7. Last month it stopped recoginising my login, after many failed attempts, had to remove and reinstall app - lost record of all prev journeys
8. Doesnt readily show previous trips - quite convulated, impractical and generally useless feature

They forgot to test it

As an IT professional I can only assume they adopted the ‘write it, ship it’ policy and forgot the all important test and user interface for apple users. Oh dear where do I start Why does it keep asking me each time I drive to allow it to connect!! Do it automatically. If I miss it I get no stats That said I am lucky if it connects as it regularly hangs on start. Therefore I have to kill the app, open it again and then it usually works. When it does connect it works well, but it only get 3 stars because it only connects about 50% of the time Why cant I specify a switch off time for charging. My Mitsubishi has different programs for each day, take a look at what their hybrid offers

Frustrating

Like other reviewers I love my car 208e GT but the app is pretty much useless. For one it does not store my email and password (or allow it to be stored on my iPhone. So every time I plug it I to the car it asks me to allow connection but then requires me to enter password etc. this is annoying because I’ve just got in the car to go somewhere and don’t want to spend time fiddling with this process. It does the same when I try to open the app at home. It would be far simpler for it to just connect via some form of secure handshake or just allow faceID to access.
I am also unable to connect to my car to set up the air con. Despite the app telling me charge, location etc (which I assume means I am connected to the car) it wont let me set the air con, telling me the car is not connected. This happens elsewhere too.
Both issues render the app pretty much useless for me. I guess others don’t have these issues so maybe it’s just me but I’m pretty tech savvy.

Worse since update

This app in comparison to other car types is behind. You should be able to do a lot more from the app like you can with other makes. Since the new deployment the app is useless. Despite saying it’s paired with the car it does not record the trip. Why does it ask every time I start the car to allow the app access, this should be a setting allowing to happen if the user say that it’s ok. It’s a nightmare, you click allow and you get the load page and nothing happens. I have to shut the app down and start it again and it still does not work. The last update when it worked was 8 days ago and I use the car daily. Recently when I stopped and the engine switched off at the traffic light when it started again I was getting notifications to allow the app. The car was not off.. thanks

Useless App

I’ve been using the app for the last 3 years since getting my 3008 and was great at first. Don’t know what you’ve done with these updates but the app is pretty much useless now. Always asks for permission to connect when you get into the car but it used to do this automatically. If the phone is in my pocket when I get in the car I won’t check my phone until the end of the journey so it’s not recorded my journey. Also it never works when launching the app each time. It just stays on the Peugeot logo screen but if you force close it and launch again then the app opens. It’s such a shame as the car is amazing but this app is shockingly bad. Do you guys not test this before releasing updates? I work in IT for a huge firm and if we released updates like this then someone would be fired. Please sort this out. From what I can see you just reply with a generic response to fill out a form. 😡😡

Frequently non-functional

Unfortunately you can’t give zero stars. Really bad performance and connectivity. I’ve been using the app, or rather trying to, since 2017. It used to connect via Bluetooth and update the car stats fairly regularly for about a year. But ever since, it fails to update via Bluetooth even though it states it’s connected to the vehicle. I’m using and iPhone X which is always updated to the latest iOS. Also, you cannot use the app whilst using Apple CarPlay. It also frequently stalls on the initial splash screen with the lion logo and will not open the app further. Really bad app in my opinion. Absolutely not point in developing and releasing an app if you are not going to support it competently and gets its basic functionality correct.

Disappointing

I should have noted the overwhelmingly poor reviews of this app. However, I did download it because I liked the concept but have found, like many others, that it doesn’t update journeys and there are many other annoying buggy issues.
Have noticed as well with other negative reviews that someone, presumably from Peugeot, replies with a standard format reply asking for more information via a link but you never seem to see how the issue was resolved (if it ever was - with the large number of continuing poor reviews, I don’t think the app developers are offering an app acceptable customer service).
Developers, please don’t be lazy and reply to this with your standard reply, all we ask for is for the app to work properly (you surely have enough feedback by now to know it doesn’t) and for some decent support for the app. Thank you.

Great now it’s working again

After many months of this APP not working or updating. A couple of days ago I decided to delete my vehicle from the APP and logged out which I have done previously. After logging back in and adding my vehicle it appears to be working again and correctly updated my journey and data.
Peugeot Customer Support did contact me regarding this problem requesting additional information, but hopefully this will not be necessary now as it’s working which I hope will continue as it’s such a useful APP.

This used to be a brilliant APP many months ago, very reliable in monitoring place’s travelled including costs. I have the Peugeot 2008 and the iPhone SE 2020, the phone is correctly connected to the car system by Bluetooth, the last time it connected was for a single short journey in April 2021. I have also updated the car software recently hoping that it would work correctly, but unfortunately this made no difference. I also uninstalled the APP and reconnected once again but without success. Such a shame that this APP is now not working as I really found it so useful.

Flawed and no sign of a fix

I’ve been using this app for months. I drive an e208 and use Apple CarPlay. They just don’t work together and the app constantly distracts the driver by asking to connect to the car.
The other issue is remotely monitoring when the car is charging so I can see how full the battery is when I leave the car at a charging station. This feature worked well on an earlier release, the latest release actually stops the car charging and today left me without enough charge to get home.
When trying to check state of charge on the app I’m given the spinning time symbol and then no update.
Therefore I cannot see my state of charge. When I went back to the car it was at the state of charge of the last successful check on the app.
The app has also been repeatedly asking me to sign in again, twice today, and wants my 4 digit passcode on a regular basis too.
We are not your beta testers. This app in it’s current version is very poor and hampers the ownership experience. I suggest you do some hard work and do it soon.

Totally Useless After Update !!!

Another update has broken the app, last year I couldn’t log on for 3 months after an update, now the app connects to my car but no data ie mileage, journeys etc shows on the app, this worked fine until I updated the app.
Yet again Peugeot an issue with their software, this appears to be the norm with Peugeot after an update, my 3008 is three years old and I intend to purchase a new car this year, I was looking at a new 3008 as I love the car but these constant issues with their connected apps has as made me look at purchasing a new Kia and with their 7 year warranty are very attractive.
People including myself want connected apps so you can check Petrol, servicing etc while away from your car but it appears Peugeot have major issues in that area.

Disappointed - 20th century app for a 21st century car 😡

I put the following review on here on 28th November and you didn’t even bother to put the usual useless response.
It’s now 2 months later and nothing has changed, in fact if anything it’s worse. The app is still as useless as it was in November - not something you expect from what is supposed to be a reputable manufacturer
Come on Peugeot, you’ve brought your cars into the 21st century so isn’t it time your app did the same
“I’ve had this app since early 2017 when I bought one of the new 3008s. It was brilliant, never failed. I used the app regularly for the 3 years I had the car and it recorded every journey, my mpg, fuel costs, dates when the service is due and the map was always spot on when identifying where my car was.
Fast forward to March 2020 when I swapped my 3008 for a new 2008 and suddenly the app is a pile of crap. I don’t know what you have done to it but it never keeps up to date. According to the app I’ve done 2 journeys during November, on the 1st and 5th, and both do not show that I returned home. The map has no idea of the location of the car and the mileage is hundreds of miles out of date.
I’ve tried everything to get it to work properly but to no avail. I might as well remove the app altogether as it doesn’t give me any information at all.
Very disappointing considering it was perfect until I changed cars. Perhaps you just don’t like the new 2008s.”

Doesn't work if you use CarPlay

In common with other reviews I find the app just does not work reliably. Journeys are not logged, the position of the car is wrong and so is the fuel level. The reason is probably that I use CarPlay based on what other reviewers have written. I have raised this as a customer complaint but, after providing all the requested information, the agent said he was going to escalate it to a manager. 7 weeks on no further contact and the original complaint has been marked as closed. So the only way to follow up is to raise a new complaint. The app has potential, although the MercedesMe one is better, but since it only works if you don't connect the phone with a cable (necessary both for CarPlay and charging on an iPhone 7) it is useless.

New Peugeot e208 GT

Down loaded app to phone and connected or linked to car.
Log in to app and access home page and it throws you out?
When you can get in there is no trip, no battery life, not battery management etc.
Then when you try and return to home page it kicks you out again this is a very poor app and has it been for the info in the car I am unsure how people manage.
My E330 BMW app showed me battery level, how much was charged whilst on charge remotely, allowed be to see average and battery use per mile full trip battery stats.
Peugeot Home page shows the car, I know what that looks likes, the location of the car? I know where that is I parked it there? And booking service stuff and maintenance.
Also hit and miss on the log in wrong password or email ?
In short a really poor and useless app I am unsure how it has got 4 out of 5 there must be many Peugeot employees being asked to submit good reports or no pay rise or fear of being sacked 🤣🤪.
If you have to down load down load but you are going to be disappointed.

Awful

Has so much potential but completely useless. Logs you out of the app all the time then says your password is incorrect - reset password and use new password and still says password is wrong! When you can log in it doesn’t update after each journey, it can go weeks without updating so makes many of the functions useless. such a shame as it could be so useful.
**Edit** Contacted customer support as requested and never heard anything back. Deleted app and reinstalled it and lost 6 months worth of data - what’s the point of having to log in if your data isn’t saved to your account? Completely useless and I’m angry that a company can be so incompetent and unable to address an issue that is clearly being reported by so many people. If I could give it 0 stars then I would, purely for its lack of use-ability and lack of reliability.

Can’t log in if outside of home Wi-Fi

I would like to give this application more stars, because it was great when it was working. But sadly since few months it hasn’t been that great.
For the past few months it constantly logs me out on its own and it’s impossible to log in back again. When I’m logged out it doesn’t record trips. Bluetooth works fine by the way. The problem is that I can only log in when I’m at home and use my own Wi-Fi network. So if I’m at home I can open the app (log in if necessary) then drive and at the end of the trip it transfers the details of the trip to the app. But as soon as I leave the app it won’t open again or doesn’t let me log in again, saying incorrect name or password. It just won’t open again even if the mobile internet is at full strength of 4G and everything else works just fine. Subsequently it doesn’t record any return trips, and even if I log in again at home all the remaining details are lost.
There was no problem before, if occasionally app stopped working I was able to receive missing details at the end of the next trip. It is a nightmare now, and a great shame because I need it for work to record work trips. At the moment I can only record trips originating from my home, but not the return or anything between.
I tried reinstalling the app, and Bluetooth connections but still no luck. Please can you make it work again?

Avoid - Get your act together Peugeot!

Recent update logged me out as usual but now when I try to login I am informed my password or email is incorrect. So I set out to reset my password - the app requests my email and 30 seconds later I get an email with a link to reset it. Set the new password successfully and back to the app - to be told that either my password or email are incorrect. 3 years of car data and the only access I have to map updates for the agreed 5 year term. Makes absolute no sense and really really frustrated by the lack of tech support, contact details or anything other than a broken process set to antagonise more than me!!!
** So deleting the app and reinstalling it resolves the login problem but all the car data is gone. Horrendous failure - really annoyed with you Peugeot and only for the need to use the app to get mapping links, it would be deleted and I’d never trust you with any of my data ever again!!! Absolutely shocking - take all the data I can provide and then introduce updates that deprive me of access to it and no published process to support me retrieve it. Really disappointed. Avoid!

Ok but needs to be more reliable for EVs

Running this app with a e208 and this really should be a supplement to the car, but for some
reason Peugeot have made this the only way to manage the battery for the e208 Allure trim or below?!
However, the app is flakey. Most of the time it works, but sending commands to the car can be hit or miss with the app not being successful in sending the command even when the car hasn’t moved for several days and remains fully charged within a few meters of the phone running the app.
The battery status shown in the app can also register at 0% when the car is fully charged and hasn’t moved (we are in Covid 19 lockdown) - why??
Why can’t EV owners see the battery management of the car from the app? We want to see usage stats, set the charge limit of the battery and precondition the battery for cold weather driving (not just the cabin temperature).

If you’re going to make this app the primary method to manage the e208 Allure trim or below (ie not top of the range), then you MUST make sure the app works seamlessly ALL OF THE TIME and contains the functionality EV owners require to manage the battery. It’s not good enough to have basic battery management features built in the car of the GT Model and not to be present in the other trim levels and missing from this app but in the same breath making this app the primary method of managing the car.

What have you done?

Please don’t insult me and give your standard response. The My Peugeot app was quite good until about a few weeks ago, where upon it wasn’t recognising my logon details. I deleted the app losing 3 years of data, and on reinstall started working again. A week later it’s not recognising me again despite resetting my password, it’s not letting me in. During the last week, it has been asking for logon and password quite frequently. It’s now getting beyond a joke that it’s asking for these details virtually each time I open the app. And now it’s not even letting me in.
If a user has to “align the sun and the stars” to get the app working, you’re going to turn people off
Having driven only Peugeot’s since 1989, and potentially moving to an electric platform next, which I understand relies on this app, then I do not have confidence. Please restore mine and everyone else’s who are going through the same issues.

Not consistent

Been using this since June. Although it easily connects via Bluetooth it can have the odd, very annoying blip. Sometimes although showing as connected via the vehicle touchscreen and on the iPhone, it will not record any data. When it works it is great, but I have too many missing journeys to enable an accurate reading of data. The total miles traveled by the vehicle and the app are in disagreement therefore so is the mpg/mpl. Another annoying issue present since the initial pairing is the Applications section on the vehicle touchscreen. All that shows is Settings, when that is tapped the screen reads that it is downloading the application. Icons briefly flash, the message 100% download shows, then the screen reverts to a message saying to download the app and how useful it is.

Great but...

App itself is great. Knocks socks off apps for other 'leading' car manufacturers HOWEVER, I have had an issues with the connection of the app to the car. It is like it has a mind of its own where it sometimes connects and sometimes doesn't. Now, from what I have been reading from the last update release notes, this issue was addressed in the update but if anything I would go far as to say that it has become slightly worse. Genuinely love the app as I am a numbers guy and it keeps me interested on the journies I have made and how much fuel each journey consumed etc but this issue with the connectivity needs to be seamless where it connects first time every time when the car is turned on rather than turning the car on and off numerous times for the app to connect.

App interferes with CarPlay

The app works fairly well when not using CarPlay. But since I want to use CarPlay every time I drive then I am going to have to uninstall the app. Even if I don’t have the app open, about 5-15 minutes into the drive my CarPlay quits and a message appears on iPhone: “MyPeugeot would like to communicate with the BT_Peugeot”. The only way to get CarPlay back on the touchscreen is to unplug the lead from the phone and plug it back in, which is distracting, dangerous and illegal now that we can’t be touching phones while driving. I’ve messaged customer care since there was no other way to contact App developer, contrary to the app bio, and they confirmed that you cannot use both CarPlay with a lead and MyPeugeot app via Bluetooth as the may interfere with each other, which they clearly do for me. They did say that they hope it will be fixed with a new upgrade of the app but no time frame attached as to when that may be. So sadly for now, the only way to preserve using CarPlay 24/7, despite it has its own issues, is to delete the MyPeugeot app until I can see that they have a new version that works with CarPlay. It’s a shame because I think it information is really useful.

Peugeot 3008

How can I sum it up. I bought the Peugeot 3008 and I didn’t even know the Peugeot app existed. My car dealer told me about the app when I picked my car up. To be honest I just thought oh yeah it won’t be good. Well if I had a hat to eat I would so all I can do is eat my words. The app is very informative from telling you how long you have driven to telling you what the consumption was on that trip. It tells you what the symbols mean on the dash should any of them come on. Can tell you where the cheapest petrol station, and I’m also told that if you pay for something at the dealership it can also be used as a tracker.
I have a VW app as I have a transporter van and being honest Peugeot knocks spots off it. In all fairness the VW app isn’t even in the same league as this.
I have to admit the Peugeot giant has finally awoken and I do believe they can give some of the German manufactures a run for there money. Honestly Peugeot stay with what you are doing please don’t change anything from the cars to the app.
