I will be complaining and asking for a refund. My trip to Disney LA from the UK has been ruined by the fact that fast pass
System relies on this app which crashes and is buggy! So most rides are 1-2 hours plus wait! This is a disgrace!

Used this in the park for 5 days on my iPhone 6S. At best the app was really slow but it froze regularly (multiple times I had to leave the FastPass line because i couldn’t call up the tickets because it froze).
Performance was slightly better at my hotel with fast WiFi but this app really needs a big performance overhaul to be performant on slightly older phones and be designed with an assumption that internet connectivity is slow in the park.
I’d be happy to provide diagnostic information or remote access to my phone to the developers if this would be helpful to diagnose and improve the app because when it’s actually working the functionality is great.

Even on the WiFi this app is so slow. It wasn’t till the end of our time in the parks did we find a time guide. You need an app that’s quick and stable and doesn’t require the internet the entire time. I get that most of the features would require internet but maybe have a time guide that updates once for the week?
I didn’t get to do half the stuff as it kept crashing!! Please sort out as this has the potential to be really good

Great app that really helps manage your visit with wait times in near real time.
I also loved that you can book dining both in advance and on the day through the app - saving time in queues and letting you grab extra time on rides or with the characters.
Recommend this to first time or frequent visitors and download in advance (as new features are being added regularly) to learn all the little hints and tips it provides. Been 4 times with this app and never been let down. Wish other visitor attractions had such a great app as this.

We used the app in Disneyland California.
Before you delve in, wifi in the park isn't setup very well when we visited on the 21st August, so you'll be relying on your mobile/cell phone provider, which is fine if you are on a US number, not so good if you aren't. If you are on the US T-Mobile network there are some black spots.l however.
At present there are only a handful of rides in the main Disneyland California park that run fast passes. The app is useful for determining the rough location of Characters for photos/signing - Woody was a couple of hundred feet away.
The interface design is not as intuitive as it should be. It lacks some consistency, sometimes you are pressing icons, sometimes just text, other times both. It could do with a demo option to show you how it works, or some animated icons to show which things are buttons. To link an attraction photo you have to click on "Link Photo Pass" then click "Link photo" below the QR code. The whole fast pass experience through the menu system needs work with some offline saving of data so that it doesn't have to query the backend database every time you go into that section of the application, which just adds wait time if the network is slow, that may be as we only bought two out of three tickets with fast pass.
Bring a battery pack for your phone. I entered the park with 79% battery on my one month old iPhone. I got down to 6% remaining by 8pm. There were no charging points that I saw available. I am not necessarily saying that the application draws too much power, I have no proof of that, what I would say though is you will be using it a lot.

Ok if you want to see waiting times but these are advertised around the park. We had a party of 10 and used the friends and family option to link accounts but only the lead person can book fast passes, view photos etc. It promises loads but delivers little. Also hard to navigate.

I was really excited to have this handy app to get around the Park on a busy day. I am from the UK so I downloaded the app and checked it out the night before our visit. It was working well. On the day, I switched on my data roaming and the app worked for about 10 minutes and then the connectivity was so bad across the Park that I was no longer able to use it. There is better reception in remote places I have visited in India. How can Disney get it so wrong? Then I didn't have a paper map to get around and paid lots of charges for the data roaming for nothing... frustrating and useless so be warned!

Really nice, helpful, visually appealing app. However with no free WiFi at Disneyland I am worried about it's usefulness while there. It would be so much better if dining menus & reservations could be integrated into the app - like they are on the Disney World 'My Disney Experience' app. And if,like MDE, there was a planner/itinerary section to plan your day & current reservations.

I downloaded this app before leaving for my holiday and thought it would be so useful to have wait times and a map in my pocket...unfortunately Disneyland doesn't have free Wifi so if you're from the UK like me, the only way to use it would be to constantly be roaming which would cost a fortune!
Therefore it was a total waste of time and memory space. A shame really as the app looked good but Disney haven't thought it through properly
