Stay away from this bank. I’ve had my account for nearly a year now. Nearly 3 months ago I woke up to a notification saying my account had been placed under review. I have sent pockit everything they asked for (proof of where money came from so I sent them copy of my payslip) and I have emailed them almost daily for the last 8 weeks with no reply. Having looked on google, all I can see is shockingly bad reviews about pockit and the fact they’re doing the same to others as what they did to me. They have over 1k of my money and they are not giving it back. They’ve caused me to use food banks as that was the only money I had in the world. The contact number on the bank card is invalid and the number I found on google- the line is closed due to Covid. They don’t respond to emails and they certainly don’t care about the financial strain they’re putting on their customers.
They charge for any transaction… Some time (like3-4 days a week)when receiving or send money the process is to long over 2 hours but Is happen to wait like 4-5 hours once…and I just have the account less than 2 weeks. Not Recommended!!!
One way or another they will make absolutely sure that they rip you off and withhold your funds indefinitely. 30 emails to them demanding my money back and not one response. The FCA are doing nothing to stop the scam artists. Stay away.

If you start off by adding money from a debit card you’re supposed to be able to do it again / except you can’t. It says tap on the banner and then nothing happens. I’m annoyed because I’ll now have to try to go out - which was not the purpose of getting this card!
Was refused a bank card by other banks, Was so excited when I was accepted by Pockit to get my life back on track and getting money into my account. Would highly recommend
Please do not download, as soon as you pay money in they suspend your account and keep the money and ask the most ridiculous questions that no bank would ask and nobody who value their security would answer, if you google the, you will find all manner of court cases, warnings from which magazine, multiple accusations of fraud and scams, avoid like the plague, you will lose your money and apple should ban this app as they are proven fraudsters
I regret not reading of the reviews before opening an account with Pockit.
They put my account under review for no reason, asked for ID and proof of income etc. provided everything they asked for. I’ve been trying to contact them for a whole week with no one response, genuinely being ignored. Can’t call them as it states their office is closed due to Covid.
I have £250 in their with no access to it and all my direct debits being declined resulting in 10 plus late payment charges, and it going against my credit report. I have a 1 year old baby to support, let alone myself and bills. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Had the app couple of days only just got my card other day and now their reviewing my accounts it’s been one week made 3 transactions so it shouldn’t need a lot of checking I’ve told them it’s my customers money for goods to be ordered and they’ve gone and done this I need that money for orders and now the moneys stuck
Cash machine was empty after letting me take 100 so no money came out. Customer service made me wait four weeks then closed the case with no help and no money back. Not excepted on Apple Pay and quite a few other websites . The atms in local shops don’t take the cards . They charge you transfer every transfer you make or to pay bills . No phone number and online customer service is horrific! And max out a day is 250! Absolute joke of a bank .

I’m writing this review after I’ve rated the app 1 star because I can’t go any lower !! These guys are a joke or should I say Fraud!! Basically I’ve topped up my account from a pay point £200 since beginning of January immediately they have suspended my account asked for my ID which I’ve provided and yet still my account is under investigation LoL so basically it’s been 2 months and I’ve been robbed from £200 Keep in mind this transaction was not a bank transfer or anything dodgy I’ve literally paid in £200 at the shop, Also if you have a read through other reviews I am not the only one with the same exact problem.

Had my account open for a few months everything was fine. Out of nowhere they want to do a “security check” and want you to send all of your personal details by email which i didn’t do as i don’t feel that’s very secure. They will then block your account and steal all the money you have in your account. FRUADS STAY AWAY
Opened my account September 2020, got locked out in November 2020 they gave me limited access in June 2021 and still till this day after 200 email exchanges my account is still locked and cannot send the money I have in there anywhere! Clearly not under no authority so they do as they please! I’ve come accross loads of people in the same situation! Avoid this bank at all costs! No live chat no phone number! Financial conduct authority need to investigate these low life robbing scum bags! Worst bank I’ve ever used if you want an easy bank download think money! I do believe the monthly fee is wrong as when money gets transferred in it takes nearly an hour other banks are 4 to 10 minutes some instant . Also charged fir every cash withdrawal even if cash machine is free and we pay two pound a month for this , it frustrates me waiting on cash to clear on my account after s transfer
I’ve contacted this company numerous times to enquire as to why my direct debts hasn’t been set up by default like the support questions say they are then I get told I have to verify with photo id when I’ve been a customer over 3/4 years talk about pushing existing costumers to the side with fobbing and excuses

Do NOT put any money in these accounts, go to Trust Pilot and read the reviews. Fortunately for me, I never used the account but I personally know people that have been locked out if their accounts unable to access their money. Some have thousands in their accounts. BEWARE, the company are using the ‘guise’ of verifying accounts under a certain law to lock the accounts, withholding funds, people have been waiting months and months and just getting the run around. They are apparently now ‘closing accounts’ down and ‘allegedly’ sending the funds back to peoples employers etc but funds still haven’t been received. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!!!!!
I’m going to be very honest. This online bank is trash, Revolut and monzo are waaaaay better. This Pockit bank will review and suspend your account for weeks or even months out of nowhere. They left me stranded without my own money and I still haven’t heard from them. They removed their phone number so the only thing you can do to contact them is emailing but they never reply emails and you create tickets for them to resolve the issues, even when you create the tickets they don’t get back to you at all. This bank is not serious I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANYONE

Recently I did use pocket account.Everything so far is fine.I did work under exactly they are provided regulation guidance and the limit they provided , I did not exceed the limit but one day they blocked my account and demand identity utility papers, where the money come from, bank statements so much rubbishPrivacy, only they not demand my national insurance no 😂they will dictate your right they will block your money, card completely until you’re complying they’re demand, sorry for the money locked luckily £9 left.. so I’m ok with that.

If you need a bank urgently then this isn’t th bank for you, honestly this has to be the worst online bank I have come across. My account had been under review for 3months because of the amount of my wages going in my account, which I provided proof. You can email them but they don’t respond in the 48 hours. This is the time frame they give you to respond to any email. When the do reply after however long it takes they send an alternative email saying “we haven’t forgotten about you, we’re experiencing a high level of emails to deal with” now that’s not a way to deal with a customer who has to pay for this account monthly and also has to pay when sending money to another account. My money has been stuck in here for three months with no explanation of when I’m able to get it out
I’ve been using pockit for around 2 years now, recently started working for HM Forces in the British Army and I’ve been getting my money paid into here, it’s very reliable and they even pay my BACS payment 1 day early, I’m unsure where all bad the reviews come from as I have enjoyed my time with pockit and look forward to keep using them as my daily account, if recommend this for anyone who has any financial difficulties or can’t open a mainstream bank account as this is your second best option.
My partner and I use Pockit as a joint spending account and we haven’t had any issues over the last 12 months or so. We load £100 each whenever we’re low and then use that for food shopping or meals out, etc. Loading money onto the card is quick and easy, the money is there and available to use within minutes as they use the daster payments service. Cash back on spending at certain retailers is a good bonus and often overs the monthly fee.
Overall, I would recommend but I wouldn’t look to use this as a replacement for a regular current account.
Had a payment come in for a car I sold which then caused my account to be put into review I was told I will have my account up and running again soon 5 weeks later I send emails daily and they respond maybe once a week if that! It’s so fustrating as I’ve been unable to do a lot of things due to not being able to access my money!! ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! Worst bank ever! 5 weeks and still no answer as to when I can touch my money. One email to customer service replied to me about something I hadn’t even asked it said about closing my account down and I need to make my balance 0, well how can I do that when I can transfer the money?!?! Fustrating doesn’t even come close
I been a customer of Pockit for several years now and I always had kept good records and balances with them,about a year and half ago I was away from uk and during that time somehow someone managed to hack into my email and when I got back to uk I had to obtain a new phone number as my phone wasn’t used in uk for over a year so I had to get a new number,since my email was hacked into the Microsoft wouldn’t let me use the email I gave to Pockit and since they had turned their phone off to their customers,for eight months now I been trying to contact them vi my other email address,but every single email I’ve sent them “121 emails “ they responded with”sorry,contact us with your own email,the one you gave us!!!”but in every single email I sent them I explained that I can’t get into my old email as it’s been hacked into,yet they gave the same reply??!!!!their phone number is been unmanned for since the COVID-19 started and now that all is been back nearly to normal and every single companies is been reopened,yet Pockit still”HAVEN’T REOPENED THEIRS??!!!!!!”and yet they will not help their own customers when it’s been their fault for not reopening their phones!!!!!!i am a severely disabled person and need access to my opp and yet all this being their fault,they are not prepared to open their lines in order to not pay someone to man it??!!!!all that at the costs if their customers,I wish I had never opened the account with POCKIT
It’s been three weeks now my girlfriend sent me money into my account. And since then my account has been under review I have emails them severally but nobody has replied but am automated responded my email received this been over three weeks going to a months. I contacted them on chat then the customer services named Brian become rude on edge that I was abusive because I said to him that it’s been over three weeks I haven’t heard from them that his not doing his job appropriately and he later logged off the chat. My funds is still with them please stay away they are robbing people and I have filed this case to the courts regarding this matter.
Locked my account for absolutely no reason after i put some money into the account. Note this was my first time ever putting money in to use it. Instead pockit locked my account unable to access my funds for over 1 year. The worst bit is after locking my account they didn't reply to none of my emails after countless times of contacting them. Then after over 1 year they finally contact me saying my accounts being closed but my money essentially disappeared and i am still trying to chase this up but pockit customer service is just awful and i don't think ill ever see that money again.

In addition, an email constantly comes to confirm your identity, what I have already done in a new way, the application does not make it impossible to confirm your identity, that is, scan your passport and your photo! I was looking for They wrote to me so that the card would come quickly so that I would put 10 £ on my account I still could not understand whether they had some kind of mistake or was it a scam some online bank was working as it should I can transfer money to and from it, but the cards to Unfortunately, I haven't received it yet and I can't understand why they want me to verify my identity, I would be happy to, but there is no such possibility in the application since I have already done it
I have been using Pockit for about two years now and it’s great, had a few issues to begin with but these have been sorted out, transferring money to my daughters is really quick now and when money is transferred to me it goes into my account straight away, I also love being able to get paid a day early and being able to check my account/statement any time I want to, this is the only account I have now and I am about to order two extra cards for my daughters so I can help them out when they need it, keep up the good work
I opened an account at the end they asked me for ID with this they said I would upgraded so I sent my ID it was verified a few days later my friend transferred £50 as I needed electric gas food quite desperately anyway when I went to check my account it wouldn’t let me in giving a message saying my account was under a security review they wouldn’t tell me why and couldn’t give me a time frame. You can’t phone them their webchat is down so you have to email them. At first they asked for my ID again and then nothing for days so emailed them everyday after that no response then a standard message saying they’d received my email and were dealing with my account as fast as they could again no explanation. It has now been 4 weeks or just over I got an email yesterday saying they hadn’t forgotten me but was addressed To Mr, etc. Not even my name there so I tried to open another account with different email but everything else the same they soon sent an email saying I already have an account. So basically they have my money and I feel that I have been robbed. I’ve sent emails to this affect but no response. So please stay away from these people
There are using my money since I opened and deposited in the account, once we opened account they’ll ask for deposit money after couple of hours they blocked your account and saying upload your documents when you try to open your app it’ll show “ reviewing your account can’t say particular time”. I deposited my money now blocked my account , they don’t say before about your documents once deposited your money then you’ll finish you never get a chance to take your money back absolutely fraud people I uploaded my documents more than 48 hours ago still no response, now I’m struggling with the money in this lockdown period.

For the past 3 weeks I’ve been trying to find someone who can help me regarding my account’s login,
because for no reason my login password doesn’t work, they say that I have to contact them, then when I call there is a answering machine saying (due to the COVID-19) no one is available, and all the customers should email them, and I’m wondering how possible it is to get a virus behind the phone?!🤔 anyway I’ve sent them a several emails , still No one there to solve a problem, imagine you desperately need a money and people who are dealing with this which means giving the customer services, they are taking their time!
I don’t blame the developer. I’m just stuck in a though situation, and I had no other options to send my voice to the people who are not responding! Such a shame!

Trying to close my account is proving to be impossible. With no clear exit strategy apart from ‘let us no when your account is zero’ then nothing.
I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt over the card but I have never come across such incompetence as I have with this company.
Why are all your staff not able to answer a phone during the pandemic- don’t they have phones at home?

I see a lot of complaints and bad reviews on here but honestly although I’ve had a few problems with them, every time I’ve got in touch they’ve sorted it out! Just over Christmas a certain cash machine company took my money even tho I just pressed cancel on the amount so I could request another. Although it wasn’t pockit cards fault and we had no choice but to wait up to ten days for them to return it. To my surprise they kindly gave me a payment of good will gesture to help myself and my family out over Christmas! Which by the way, saved a lot of heart ache esp to 3 very young kids and stopped them from going hungry! So thank you pockit team! Truly saved the day and will forever will be truly thankful!
I find this card really useful... I load it and use it for on-line shopping also it allows me to leave my main cards at home and carry this one which has limited funds on it. I have Additional cards for my children, I load it they spend it... loading money is quick as well which is useful when you get a phone calls/text out of the blue.
Also offers cash back with some decent retailers...
As you can guess I get good usage from my card and I recommend it as a back up card which can be used anywhere as a means of payment.

Did open account card arrived very quick account was working for a week then sudden account restricted and massage coming sorry account is reviewing your detail and one email also came with some requirement I did provided other bank statement picture with passport and provided British passport also and it been more then 6 month's now no one replying on email and phone customer service even don’t have any access in verification depart says contact with email It’s good no more only £3 or maybe £5 in account so it’s ok if they not open I am lucky it happen before my salary transfer very bad customer service experience.....
I’ve been a Pockit member for the last two years, I was severely P****d after the wire card debacle and seriously considered ending my association, however after further consideration and learning all the facts I came to the realization that my somewhat knee jerk reaction was considerably unfair on my behalf, on reflection I realized I have never had any issue prior to the afore mentioned. I would like to thank Pockit for their total transparency and wish all the team the very best for the future, I will remain a Pockit customer for the foreseeable.
They are nothing more than thieves. Please I recommend never sign up for this account please. Its my worst experience. Open any other account but not this. One of my incoming payment of £610 on 29th. Jun. was declined on this account when this account was under some kind of maintenance and the payment didn’t even go back into the sender’s account. I confirmed that. So When I tried to reach to the customer support by telephone it was Completely impossible. They put you on a hold for an hour and so and after simply disconnect the calls every time. So I tried to reach them by email which they are not even bother to answer. So I tried to reach them by web chat. When I finally managed to chat with them they asked me my details. When I just simply give them my all the details. The customer executive writes me that you have failed the security and I am going to block your account. Its simply ridiculous as my details were absolutely accurate. And he blocked me even without any further chat even before when I tried to give my reply. Now I had £82 in my account. So all together £692 I have lost all of my money. And I just can’t get it back. They are simply just ignoring me all the time. Because I am unable to talk or chat to any customer executive now. I can’t get my own money back. That is why I am trying to aware all of you guys please do not open this account. You will stuck too.
Ordered a card, set up an account and put money on the card. To activate the card you need the PIN number which you can only get after you have answered the message to the question (what is the first school you went too...) I answered the question with the same answer on signing up but it says it’s incorrect, the only way to reset the question is to contact via phone which is what their faq’s say. I’ve been calling for over a week now, spent over 4 hours on hold collectively because it cuts you off after half an hour on hold, not only that but it plays the COVID message 3 or 4 times at the start of the call. I tried to withdraw my money but obviously I can’t without the answer to my secret question which doesn’t work. So now I have money on a card I can’t use, can’t talk to anyone and can’t get my money back soo yeah 1 star rating from me which is justified I think.
I’ve been using Pockit for a number of years and trying to get through to the Help team is a complete nightmare! The phone number just cuts off and emails ignored. I emailed in on 8th May and received an auto reply saying they’d respond within 48hrs, then a few days later I received another auto email saying response timings had changed to 96hrs due to current Covid 19 situation. It’s now 24 May and I’ve heard nothing back at all. Absolutely terrible customer service. It’s making me wonder if this is still a viable company and should I trust them with any more of my money?! Currently looking for another card provider.
I had loved this service UNTIL NOW, I emailed them during this lockdown were in to ask can they block a company from taking a payment? I just didn’t want to pay a £9.99 membership fee they never mentioned when I ordered something, so it took ages for pockit to answer me and they said they will halt my account so no payments can be made?! Halt my account for how long?? I could of blocked my card myself the app lets you do this ?! And I’m in lockdown I suffer with asthma and bronchial issues and I’m 62years, I’ve waited a month to get any groceries and I have an Asda payment due out in a few days, I finally got an online order by the skin of my teeth , I will be paying a mini cab to pick it up for me and if there going to keep my account locked I’m not going to get my groceries?! It’s appalling almost criminal to block my money , especially during these coronavirus days, I’m worried stiff I can’t get my groceries as no payments are going out, and I’m due another payment to go in this week which I can’t stop , they took me ages to answer when I just enquired can they stop a payment, had I if known they would block my whole account I wish I kept my mouth shut, I’m worried stiff I’m not going to get my grocery order and my fridge and cupboards are empty and I’m here alone , my daughter lives 160 miles away!
Right now I’m worried and really lost faith in the company that I loved until now!
It has been 1 month and 2 weeks and I still have not received my card. I tried contacting pockit several times by telephone and ended up emailing instead due my call not being answered. Now my emails are being answered once every other week and my problem of not receiving my card has still not been solved, all I am being questioned is if I have received my card yet several times. This is disgusting and pockit shout ashamed. I don't even want the account anymore, I've had to make arrangements elsewhere to deposit money into an online banking account. Absolutely rubbish.
Been using this card for couple of years now can be used just like a credit card. Without the hassle of interest as long as you have money on it, it accepted anywhere and never gets refused, no hidden fees and easy to top up. I tend to transfer from my bank account and the money usual available on my card within the hour.
The one issue I have had was quickly and professionally resolved over the phone. Could not ask for a better service.
100% would NOT recommend this service. Myself and a friend got stopped on the street and we’re basically forced to sign up. You have to put £10 into the Pockit account otherwise they take £10 from your bank as a sign up fee. What they don’t tell you is they actually charge you monthly to use the service, you can put money from your bank to Pockit but you can not transfer money from Pockit to your bank account. I signed up over two months ago and have still not received a card. I’ve emailed multiple times and have been told they were sending a new card out ( so about 3 cards were meant to be sent out) in which none have arrived. This meaning I have no card to activate my account, no way of getting my £10 back either but guess what. £10 isn’t even in there now because of the monthly charges. Absolute scam! Just a way for them to get money 😕 DON’T recommend!
DO NOT register for this card! I purely opened that card just so i could finally get my savings from LOQBOX. Finally after a while waiting for MY MONEY i received into this account and done a transfer to my other account which i hold a card for so we can do a food shop! To then be told i have to wait up to two days but whilst making the transfer it states 2 hours! My partner is self employed and due to COVID19 he has no work coming in we have 3 kids one which is a baby and bare cupboards (since selfish people decided to stockpile leaving others with nothing!!) ive waited over a week for this money to come in and now it is going to be even longer waiting on this company to do the transfer! Literally so angry! Stay away from these and LOQBOX!!!!!!!!!
Really good customer service never had a problem with any staff member they all ways help and get matters resolved prompt but one guy only one it takes to mess it all up Noah the guys name is cheeky and rude really hope I don’t get him ever again I asked to speak to any senior managers he was adamant to not pass it on to any one I asked to speak to different member he hung up not happy but overall love the rest and love this product 100% my whole family has one and I will continue using it and I would urge people with bad credit to get one before you know your back there living life again
I have very little good to say about this company.
I only use this card for small amounts and transactions. A lot of the time they failed causing embarrassment and recourse to using one of my other cards. Several weeks after having the card, I was locked out of the app for no apparent reason. The message said: "Unfortunately, you won't be able to access your account while we're reviewing your details. We appreciate your patience and we will get in touch with you once the review is complete."
This was over a month ago and they haven't been in touch at all, I'm still locked out and I still don't know why. The thing is the amounts I had on the card were so small I can't see what the problem is, but they're still taking the monthly fee.

I transfer my shopping money monthly so I can keep track of what we’re spending and set ourselves a budget. I really like that I can have sub accounts which I use for my children so they don’t carry cash around with them. The 99p fee per month works out a lot cheaper than the annual fees that the children’s pocket money cards charge. Although I appreciate that they have more features, if you have more than one child they work out very expensive!
The only problem I’ve had is the contactless chip has stopped working on mine and my partners card. And my daughters card was declined a couple of times when there was actually money on it (possibly a contactless purchase?!)

Excellent service from Pockit, only 99pence a month. Save your money in a very secure place. No lending just what you top up your card with. No hidden fees. The Pockit app is very easy to use and it tells you everything about your account. I can use my card anywhere also online. Protects you from getting into debt. Top up with anything you can afford. Even £10 or up to £200 in a day. Immediately goes onto your card and you can spend it right away. I have been with Pockit almost 4years now . Trust it completely.
Been usin this card to pay for a lot of stuff and is absolutely brilliant. I’ve had this card now for some time now and although I do have a bank account, it’s not always easy to deposit money as I work nights and can’t always get to the bank in time. A lot of times I used to stay up till the bank opens or get up really early so as to get to the bank on time and sometimes always rushing before they close or worse can’t get to the bank in time, ie rush hour, problems parking and queues, etc.
This has made my life (personal and working) so much easier. Just pop into any pay point shop, day or night, and load your money and it’s available straightaway. Brilliant! Can’t recommend this enough. Only issue I have is transfer in or out takes time, sometimes it’s quick about an hour and lot of other times it takes longer. Someone please sort this out. Everything with the app is spot on, notifications, sign in using Touch ID, balances, statements, just like a contemporary bank but more.

Do not bother going to them or setting up an account with them! They are thieves! They’ve stole £500 off me and my 2 year old daughter and locked my account saying it’s under review!!! Bare in mind I had it for 1 day!!! Now I haven’t been able to access my money for over a week !!! They’ve put us into hardship where I’ve had to go to food banks and charities to help me out! I have rang them every day to the same excuse that someone will be in touch with me!! They haven’t!!!! The only correspondence there has been is me ringing them!!!!!
I have cried down the phone to them trying to explain my daughter has no food and that the money in the account is for the month! I have been in hospital because this whole situation has made me ill and my mental state flare! It’s disgusting how they speak to people and disgusting the way they are treating customers! Most of the good reviews are done by fake people it’s vile!

This card has got me into debt!!!! I can’t set up direct debits for my council tax, home insurance, mobile phone bill, car tax or gas and electric and these are the only few I’ve tried! It’s the worst ‘account’ I’ve had in my life on this planet. They send me emails telling me my transfers haven’t gone through, so I send them again just to find out the first one did go through anyway but just didn’t show on my balance until the next day, so I’ve been charged 99p to send them both times now I’ve got to mess about trying to get my money back. Literally waiting on my new ID to come through the post to open a real account and this card will be on the fire!!! Pathetic is the only way to describe this.

Horrendous company who allowed me to setup an account very easily. Card paid for and was in my hands within 3 days.
My friend owed me some money (approx £300) no problems. Arrived in my account the next day. THEN!! Pockit decide to block my account and demand all sorts of identification. Happy to send as I want to unblock my account and be free to use the bank. This was the beginning of April. They keep sending me the same automated message saying they cannot provide a timescale but should be approx 24 hours. Its been WEEKS!!!!!!! Blocked account and no access with no urgency with the fact £300 has gone and was very needed for bills. Asking for personal conversation screenshots (possibly to extend the time between scamming me and hoping I give up) THE MOST RIDICULOUS COMPANY EVER AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD THEIR ACCOUNTS BLOCKED. Loads of people have written negative reviews on facebook. I wouldn’t mind but it has been 6 weeks and their customer service do not care I am going to end up in debt if they do not release the money.
I have just opened a Pockit account and found that trying to use their website is a nightmare. I tried to open an action request without success. I moved on to another again it would not open. I tried to change the date of a loqbox payment as I knew that my account would not be able to pay it ( for 4 days) and finally had to close it. When I was eventually able to make contact by phone....it takes ages to get a response... I learnt that loqbox is a third party and I must now chase them to get my opening payment for the loqbox. I have only just opened a pockit account so my loqbox fee of £9.99 could be a throwaway. I was told by the pockit rep. on the phone that they wait for up to 10 days before cancelling the loqbox arrangement! If I had known that there would have been no problem. Harry Broph
Great app and great product. Fresh and vibrant colour so no more losing your card or if you do it’s easier to find.

Only down side for me is it doesn’t offer faster payments which is odd as it charges a pound for transfers so would of expected that to be a faster payment. Tho that’s not. Problem for me the issue is when receiving a transfer from my high street bank which does offer faster payments and for free but takes a Few hours to hit my Pockit account and up to three days. Not the end of the world but still slightly annoying at times.
Overall tho still deserves five stars.
I found pockit on Facebook of all place. I got my new card and account the next day,I was told up to 5workimg days. The app is great everything you need always at hand,it very easy to use. When I called the call centre help line for some help, the lady was very nice friendly and really helpful. I've had no problems at all with my pockit account and card. The card is contactless so can also be used on the bus or need something quite. If you are thinking of getting an account yourself I say do it. It's made my life so much easier I had no ID to open a bank account. Thank you Pockit
This is a good app for managing your Pockit prepaid Mastercard, which I have to say is excellent. However, in recent updates the app has not been as accessible as it used to be. Most importantly, VoiceOver users are unable to see their balance; it is simply not spoken. Also, VoiceOver users are unable to block/unblock the card either. Double tapping on what appears to be the place to block or unblock the card achieves nothing, when it should perform the appropriate action. The workaround for now is to use the website, which is more accessible than the app. Talk about odd! Overall though, good app and excellent service.
very minimalist approach to having you own card and bank in your pocket. Fantastic and would recommend 99p a month is great an worth it only issue is there are other functions that cost money in the app like transferring money that costs 99p and putting money on your card with cash cost 99p is well these functions made me so happy with the app but is far to expensive. If they would just charge 99p a month to use most all feature as some of these basic ones this would be number one uaccount is free but doesn’t update as quick as this.
I had been a Pockit customer for a year and used the service as my secondary account. One day i was going through my transaction history and noticed a few transactions which I didn’t recognise. I immediately contacted Pockit to report this and the lady i spoke with said it will be looked into and somebody will be in touch soon. A few days later I received an email saying your account is now closed, I contacted Pockit straight away and nobody could explain to me why my account had been closed not even a manager! To make matters worse I received a refund into my account on the day the account was closed and they company is even refusing to give me this refund which they have confirmed came into my account! The unauthorised transactions on my account ammounted to around £300 and the refund around £50 so this company has defrauded me out of £350 and decided to close my account instead of investigating it and resolving it. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!! Absolute FRAUD and the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life!!!
With so many transactions going in and out of my bank account I wanted a card to just put my monthly spending on to keep a better track of my finances. I researched a lot of these cards and despite the 99p charges here and there, this card came out top. To be fair to the company, the card has to make money somehow so I get it. The card has worked everywhere, except Pay at Pump Petrol stations. The App gives you daily updates on your balance, advises you when the card has been used and monitors what you spend your money on. I think this particular card and app has been very well thought out and I believe it’s the best on the market.
i am with pockit for 1.5hrs and i have 2 separate accounts. i have to say i hate it. u will be randomly charge twice for the same transaction and u will have to wait ages for your money to be credited back to yr account. the customer service is poor and it take ages for someone to get back to you via email and then when u reply to it u have to wait again another 24hrs. when u try log in via website u more likely will get message that system is overloaded and if u try login via app the balances are not refreshed even if u pull down the screen for refresh. i will close both my pockit accounts and go elsewhere. if u decide to stay with pockit dont use it as your main bank account and don’t let your wages get into it. if u have yr pockit account like me as the spare money account this may be ok for u. but really if u can open bank account with proper bank provider dont have any doubts and go with high street bank rather than pockit. pockit may b ambitious but they r very basic and with lots of issues. good for teenagers or beginners without credit history
Brilliant. The family uses card when on holidays, saves carrying too much euro around.
Everywhere that excepts credit card will except this card and you can eat out & drink or visit local attractions using card and make any payments in Sterling.
Handy too, when my older teenage children head off to Europe, blow all there funds in the first few days, you can pop down to local pay point and top up there card and funds will be with them in minutes.
Great wee card to start saveing with as you can also pay anywhere and use it for inernet shopping well worth getting!!! I am 35 but don’t have a bank account or credit cards as I mucked all that up when I basically not knowing at17-18?bumped my check books at the time so I have ran from banks but I kept haveing to use other peoples accounts familay and freinds in order to top accounts up I applied for this the Pockit card was with me in 2weeka and I now can do all sorts off things I hadn’t even realized I had from I’m amazed what this wee cards done for me I’m even now gonne go for a new bank account
I’m afraid I’m struggling to find anything good to say about Pockit. They are almost impossible to reach by telephone, (the number on my card has been replaced by another) and when you do get the right number, an hour or more will suffice if you want to speak to someone.
When you email an urgent query about a possible fraud, you are promised a reply within 48 hours (which would be poor enough) but a stock impersonal response is sometimes issued, sometimes not, after around a week.
I have yet to get a conclusion to a straightforward recall of a pending payment after 4 months. They send the same reply about ‘not having a timescale’ each time, so with or without the App, the service is appalling.
The App constantly asks you to sign in using Touch ID. This does not work. Ever. To be asked to try something you know not to work each to you log on is frustrating to say the least. When trying to add funds, the app frequently crashes or even says the loading of the card has failed, when if you log out and in again is actually hasn’t. This can, of course lead to transactions being taken twice, plus 99p fee of course.
Really, both the card company and the App leave a lot to be desired. There should be more respect for their customers and a reliable interface.
I really like Pockit, it’s fairly priced with the charges, I am using this account with three separate balance cards on it For my children so I am able to transfer money to them and keep an eye on what they are spending it on, this really helps for Christmas and I would definitely recommend them, the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is that the customer service number is very poor as nobody ever answers the phone, but if this was improved it would give your customers more confidence and enable you to sort out any problems very quickly, after all top customer service is the key to any business. This is my constructive criticism and if this was improved I would rate them five stars.

It's a very useful and good card for me so far as I can do all transactions online and in store with no fuss. It helps me maintaining my monthly financial expenses as I can manage it wisely because I only reload the amount that I need to use especially for shopaholic like myself. The only thing that Pockit needs to improve is your customer service handling time and waiting time. I personally think that your customer service and customer waiting time are still very poor, therefore I always try to sort any issues I have with the card by looking for answers online rather than phoning your team.
