The app doesn’t work

The 2-factor authentication on the app means once I click the verification link in the email I receive, I get taken to a browser version of Pockit on my phone. I haven’t been able to use the actual app for several months now, and I don’t get notifications from it.

The worst

This is the most biggest scam! These lot froze my account for two weeks. I have bills to pay and I need to pay for other important things to keep my venture running. I have been told by HSBC and Lloyd’s to avoid them as they are not trustworthy nor are they appropriately regulated.

The worst banking!

The biggest scam! I lost all my money close to £1K. This banking app is a shambles. You’ll get scammed! They closed my account and transferred my funds over to all 3 recipients. One of them withdrew my money straight away as her bank told me. Pockit are responsible as Natwest said they should not have done that and it is the first time they heard of such a thing. Shambolic! I would not trust putting in even £200 in this account. They will rob you. I will leave a review for my 30,000+ viewers on Snapchat!

One of the worst banks I have ever used – do NOT recommend

Updating personal details such as address or basic account information takes more than a week, which is unacceptable in 2025. Bank transfers take up to 36 hours to go through and are not instant like other banks, making it very inconvenient for everyday use. Their live chat support is useless. They claim they will send an email for further support, but the email takes days to arrive, if it arrives at all. There is no real customer service or sense of urgency.
Overall, this bank is overly bureaucratic, slow, and a complete waste of time and money. I genuinely believe it is not worth using and I would never recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the stress and choose a real bank instead.

I have used Pockit for 6 years as my main bank. I haven’t had no trouble. Never experienced any money taken or account restrictions. Only improvement needed is the timing and contacting options. Other than that they continue to grow and improve. If your someone with no bank give Pockit a try.

Just before December I sold an item to a person. Due to Royal Mail being slow delivering item the buyer open a case with there bank.
Pockit froze my account with I’ve 2k in it becuase of a £60 payment that I uploaded tracking for. The reply I got from Pockit was. I have to wait 45 to 90 days for them to review it. They have looked all my money in the account. When I messaged them they told me I had to wait even tho my wages had gone in the account. I had by far the worst Xmas becuase of them not letting me spend my money. DONT BANK WITH POCKIT - THEY ARE A JOKE

The application review process takes an unhealthy amount of time. There is no clear guidance given on their FAQ what is done with the info from verification after it’s purposed has been served.
It kept asking for more and more ID. And decided not to process as I didn’t feel my personal data was safe.

This bank changes a large amount of money to keep your money in it. At one point I paid £30 a month for direct debits, deposits or to transfer money, then they’d charge £1.99 for the account that cost so much to do normal transactions. If you have an issue with this bank, you can’t ring them, and good luck emailing them in an emergency as you’ll be waiting a while. Steer clear as it’s a huge rip off and money making racket. The app is extremely cheap and basic, it really is not worth £1 A month.

I was meant to receive my payments 5 days ago now, I’m being told that my bank has failed, between that time I was meant to receive another payment from somewhere else and I’m being told the same thing. Not to mention, 2 months prior, Pockit withheld my money for almost a week, because no one responded to me regarding “increasing my limit”. Furthermore, they have no number! When you go to the help section, you chat with a bot which is no help at all, you just receive a message saying “you will be contacted between 24-48 hours” and they hardly ever do.
I’ve been stuck with no funds for 5 days, I’m late on bills and rent, I can’t even buy food. I’ve emailed every day and I’ve only gotten two responses from Marianne saying that they will investigate. Still no update.
Today I’ve made the decision that I’ll be switching banks. The amount of stress this has caused me is unbelievable!

I been a customer of Pockit for several years now and I always had kept good records and balances with them,about a year and half ago I was away from uk and during that time somehow someone managed to hack into my email and when I got back to uk I had to obtain a new phone number as my phone wasn’t used in uk for over a year so I had to get a new number,since my email was hacked into the Microsoft wouldn’t let me use the email I gave to Pockit and since they had turned their phone off to their customers,for eight months now I been trying to contact them vi my other email address,but every single email I’ve sent them “121 emails “ they responded with”sorry,contact us with your own email,the one you gave us!!!”but in every single email I sent them I explained that I can’t get into my old email as it’s been hacked into,yet they gave the same reply??!!!!their phone number is been unmanned for since the COVID-19 started and now that all is been back nearly to normal and every single companies is been reopened,yet Pockit still”HAVEN’T REOPENED THEIRS??!!!!!!”and yet they will not help their own customers when it’s been their fault for not reopening their phones!!!!!!i am a severely disabled person and need access to my opp and yet all this being their fault,they are not prepared to open their lines in order to not pay someone to man it??!!!!all that at the costs if their customers,I wish I had never opened the account with POCKIT

Absolutely disgraceful!!!!

I opened a pocket account in the beginning of July 2024, since then I have had 4 fraudulent transactions & 1 completed fraudulent transaction, coming from Dubai and Brazil. When I brought this to their attention, via chatbot, ( because you can NOT speak to anyone at Pocket!!), they told me I needed to fill out a chargeback form, that form was attached to the email. So completed the form immediately and returned it.
Today, I received an email telling me they would not be receiving my money back because I would have had a 2 step authentication to proceed with the transactions. I told them 1) I have NEVER had a 2 step authentication to use my card and 2) How am I able to use my card in Dubai, while sitting in my home in the UK!!!
I am absolutely appalled by this account and I WILL be closing this account as soon as I can, plus I have contacted the financial ombudsman over this.

Extremely Disappointed and Considering Legal Action
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Pockit. My account has been blocked since April 3rd, and it is now over a month later with no resolution. Since then, I’ve had no access to my salary, and funds sent to me by my sister have also been withheld without any explanation or indication of when – or if – they will be returned.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of communication. I have sent multiple messages, but most of them go unanswered. When I do receive a response, it’s vague and unhelpful, offering no clear timeline or justification for the account block or the withheld funds.
This situation is causing serious financial hardship. I’m now forced to rely more heavily on credit cards, which is driving up my debt due to interest – all because my own money is being held without cause.
If this is not resolved promptly, I will 100% consider taking legal action. This experience has eroded any trust I had in Pockit. I urge anyone considering this service to think very carefully before relying on them for essential banking needs.

Would not recommend

At first everything was fine once I started receiving money they started to do reviews back to back even after providing them the payment source which was Department of work and pension which they should know themselves it’s gov, and still I’m restricted. They charge fees on everything you do cash out at the atm or transfer it to someone, and to have a account you have to pay monthly depending on the plan, bare in mind they ain’t got no branches if you get locked out there is no way you can contact them it’s just the email which takes forever. I was confident and had fully trusted them but I feel like make a different account now, plus all them charges 1.99 for cash out 1.29 to transfer money will go in my savings. I would not recommend this to anyone.

My account has been put under an account review which apparently takes 2-4 working days which I have no problem with as it is working the agreement.
However they have done this just before the Easter holiday which means the 2-4 working days doesn’t start until after the Easter holidays. All my money is being kept in this account. I have been unable to access my funds during funds to do activities with my family and also bills that are due to come out have bounced back which will affect my credit. To top it off I am unable to message anyone one from their team, this has been a massive inconvenience considering I’ve had my Pockit account for over 5 years now. This just isn’t acceptable and very inconsiderate. I will be looking for alternative banking once I have access to my funds again.

Absolutely disgusting DO NOT USE POCKIT

Worst choice I could possibly have made with choosing a bank account and I wish I never opened this account with Pockit.
Opened a new account last Monday 9 days ago from writing this review, once the account was opened and active I had access instantly answered all the questions as to why and what the account is gunna be used for they was clearly happy with everything to give me the account, so I was using the account for a couple of hours and as soon as I transferred money from my old Monzo account which was closing that day hence the reason I opened this new account with Pockit all of a sudden my account was restricted and my money was not accessible and cannot gain access to my money. What so ever it’s in my account they asked me to provide information on the transaction that was received from my old closing account which I provided instantly they said it will be reviewed and sorted within 7 days, we’re now on day 9 still restricted no access to my money I’m missing bills and getting missed payment charges and all sorts to no fault of my own, and they have blocked me from messaging through the app and I can only email I’ve heard nothing back in response no updates or nothing just left in the dark with my account frozen and my money frozen. I’ve sent 18 emails since the day it was opened and I’ve not had a response for a week now it’s disgusting.

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. I have opened an account with Pockit just few days ago. I play online casino games and I won £300 , unfortunately i have made withdrawal in Pockit account. I made a transfer of that money into the United Kingdom bank account. 1st of all i received a message money will be transferred in 2 hours if not then 36hours. Which is absolutely unbelievable. But after 12 hours they restricted my account and send me the notification that account has been restricted please follow the step in the app. So i opened the app and once again i have to proof my identity, proof of address and where this money came from. This is serious awful. When i opened my account just few days ago i have provided my identity and proof of address.
This not enough worse thing is when they want me to follow the steps in the app i have to take the photo directly can’t upload from my phone. I am 68 year old man then i have to call someone to help me out because these days everything thing is digital. They dont realise that for banks statements or etc people have to arrange printing. I am very disappointed with Pockit. I have uploaded everything whatever they asked me but now it has been more than 15 hours my account is under review and restricted. I will advice everyone whoever is reading my review please do not use Pockit. I will share my experience every where on social media to warn people not to use Pockit.

In my entire life I have never come across such a bank I get paid from work and I send a bit of money to my card and straight away they block the card it’s been a week now I’ve emailed and no one has got back to me yet so if anyone is thinking of opening up this card I’d advise you not too it’s just gonna cause you problems down the line I showed them where the money came from had to send me passport back again and still I’m here waiting for a response it says. On their app it takes 2-4 days for response it’s been much longer than that my email has just been ignored so anyone thinking of opening this bank I highly advise against it as it will bring chaos and grief down the line go with wise instead. I just hope no one has to go through what I’m going through.

They did that without explaining why they did it.
Asked me to request for a new card which I did then followed step by step what they told me. After passing the Dennis Rodman like security a-la - leeach ( which until now I couldn't believe)defense, I reach the tap it yellow button with only enough energy to consume for waiting for a week for the replacement garbage card to arrive, and fighting for my life against that Chicago Bulls Defensive Oak Tree like even the Mailman Karl Malone called in sick due to failure to deliver his parcels ( Behemoth Father of all the Monster with small earing in his nose ) that last defense was not moving but still, very freely I tap that in the name of Ponce Pilate many as the population of mainland china where my granda came from.............to no avail!

Not great

Not my favourite account I’m afraid. They randomly decide to block your card for security checks, which can be extremely awkward and put you in difficult situations. I was left with no money in a dangerous position, and as a disabled woman alone I was in dire straits. Getting hold of customer services is impossible and it was only through the kindness of a stranger that I was ok. Beware - although it’s good when it works, these sudden stops they put on your card for absolutely no reason whatsoever (they’ve seen my proof of ID etc and I wasn’t a new customer) can be dangerous. I’ve found an alternative now so rarely use this one. Make sure you’ve always got a bit of cash on you is my only advice, which kind of defeats the object of the card.

They charge you for everything!

Hard work . Get charged every time you use it at a cash machine . Even if the machine doesn’t charge pockit does 99p Get charged 99p every time you make a transfer to anyone or pay a bill! Get charged if you use it to pay in a shop or restaurant etc. Not excepted on a lot of websites for payment Such as .gov or Apple even though it’s a “MasterCard” Some cash machine/atm don’t except the card ! Apple Pay doesn’t except the card! Only allowed to make a limited number of transfers in UK a month and even less international if that’s of any important to anyone . Have to jump through hoops via an email to customer service to try and get any help or to ask to raise limitations etc. And the wait for a response (if you get a response at all) is ridiculously long . There is no online help service everything must be done via emails . There is no contact number to call and speak to an actual person , not even an automated option . Zero point of actual contact other than the email of which they require is numbers transaction numbers and screen shots of them and photo id and address id emails sent before they will even start to process any query at all. And from experience of the two occasions I’ve tried by the time you go back and forth the response they give is “we’re sorry on this occasion we can’t resolve your issue or refund your money as the time limit we allow to process each dispute has expired and can’t be reversed” . My advice is There is no point wasting your time and effort even trying in first place ! Also you get charged sporadically a standard charge pockit fee of £1.99 I know this review sounds petty but every 99p and 1.99 adds up over a month .. Also some transfers you make can take 10 mins to complete others 4 days . Then a lot get returned back as error can’t be paid please try again .. even when you have cleared available funds in the account to send the transfer .and they still have the nerve to charge 99p even if they get returned . Then you have added frustration of not being able to transfer as you have used the said amount of transfer they allow you to do monthly ! So if you have the patience of a saint and money to burn this is the bank for you . If not then avoid at all costs .

Pockit banking app

I have had Pockit for the last year nearly now and they have been brilliant, the only thing is that you can’t get hold of them directly you have to email them and wait for them to reply so if you do unluckily become a victim of fraud you have to freeze your account email them and then wait for them to get back to you and find out what happened, otherwise they have been a god send to me as I didn’t have any ID to open up another account when I needed it so I am giving them 4 &1/2 stars for the convenience of the delivery and services from them. Appalled customer

I have had my account frozen due to maintenance and a review which has left me unable to access my money, from Saturday to Monday when I have kids to feed, phone bills to pay and rent to come out. I’ve been left in a situation that is truly nightmarish. To be left without food, the ability to contact anyone for help after midnight tonight and to pay my rent! The account has been fine until I had some decent money in there and now it’s frozen. It’s okay giving us a number to ring mon-fri but what are people supposed to do in emergencies on the weekend? Just wait? I cannot buy food for my children!! This is disgusting! How can you leave people like this? I signed up only a couple of weeks ago and for the review was asked to resend the exact same information that I used to apply only a couple of weeks ago. Stay away from this bank. I’ve had my account for nearly a year now. Nearly 3 months ago I woke up to a notification saying my account had been placed under review. I have sent pockit everything they asked for (proof of where money came from so I sent them copy of my payslip) and I have emailed them almost daily for the last 8 weeks with no reply. Having looked on google, all I can see is shockingly bad reviews about pockit and the fact they’re doing the same to others as what they did to me. They have over 1k of my money and they are not giving it back. They’ve caused me to use food banks as that was the only money I had in the world. The contact number on the bank card is invalid and the number I found on google- the line is closed due to Covid. They don’t respond to emails and they certainly don’t care about the financial strain they’re putting on their customers.

If you need a bank urgently then this isn’t th bank for you, honestly this has to be the worst online bank I have come across. My account had been under review for 3months because of the amount of my wages going in my account, which I provided proof. You can email them but they don’t respond in the 48 hours. This is the time frame they give you to respond to any email. When the do reply after however long it takes they send an alternative email saying “we haven’t forgotten about you, we’re experiencing a high level of emails to deal with” now that’s not a way to deal with a customer who has to pay for this account monthly and also has to pay when sending money to another account. My money has been stuck in here for three months with no explanation of when I’m able to get it out

Amazing

I’ve been using pockit for around 2 years now, recently started working for HM Forces in the British Army and I’ve been getting my money paid into here, it’s very reliable and they even pay my BACS payment 1 day early, I’m unsure where all bad the reviews come from as I have enjoyed my time with pockit and look forward to keep using them as my daily account, if recommend this for anyone who has any financial difficulties or can’t open a mainstream bank account as this is your second best option.

I opened an account at the end they asked me for ID with this they said I would upgraded so I sent my ID it was verified a few days later my friend transferred £50 as I needed electric gas food quite desperately anyway when I went to check my account it wouldn’t let me in giving a message saying my account was under a security review they wouldn’t tell me why and couldn’t give me a time frame. You can’t phone them their webchat is down so you have to email them. At first they asked for my ID again and then nothing for days so emailed them everyday after that no response then a standard message saying they’d received my email and were dealing with my account as fast as they could again no explanation. It has now been 4 weeks or just over I got an email yesterday saying they hadn’t forgotten me but was addressed To Mr, etc. Not even my name there so I tried to open another account with different email but everything else the same they soon sent an email saying I already have an account. So basically they have my money and I feel that I have been robbed. I’ve sent emails to this affect but no response. So please stay away from these people

I see a lot of complaints and bad reviews on here but honestly although I’ve had a few problems with them, every time I’ve got in touch they’ve sorted it out! Just over Christmas a certain cash machine company took my money even tho I just pressed cancel on the amount so I could request another. Although it wasn’t pockit cards fault and we had no choice but to wait up to ten days for them to return it. To my surprise they kindly gave me a payment of good will gesture to help myself and my family out over Christmas! Which by the way, saved a lot of heart ache esp to 3 very young kids and stopped them from going hungry! So thank you pockit team! Truly saved the day and will forever will be truly thankful!

I find this card really useful... I load it and use it for on-line shopping also it allows me to leave my main cards at home and carry this one which has limited funds on it. I have Additional cards for my children, I load it they spend it... loading money is quick as well which is useful when you get a phone calls/text out of the blue.
Also offers cash back with some decent retailers...
As you can guess I get good usage from my card and I recommend it as a back up card which can be used anywhere as a means of payment.

Absolutely terrible. Wish I read the reviews about pockit before downloading. Opened up a legal case and also contacted the ombudsmen. As you will be able to read by multiple other users which have used this very sad disappointing idea. They don’t move or act like a bank. They’re more like a third party “can’t do anything right” bank .....
Received £400 payment. They then blocked my account. They account hasn’t even been opened for 1 hour and was simply a test payment to make sure my account was up and running. Tried phoning. No surprise to the fact there phones are turned off due to corona..... also on top of that. There live support on twitter don’t reply for ages. Then reply to simply tell you they don’t deal with peoples complaints. The email they provide also doesn’t reply. What’s everyone supposed to do? Give away our money to POCKIT. Absolute joke. Also seems to me like they have bought or made there own 5* reviews as everywhere possible to read about “ pockit “ there isn’t anything positive to be said. Simply negative. Stealing money. They’re a fraudulent company. Stealing money from customers with no excuses. I’m an app developer who’s developed many successful apps and I’ve took a claim to Apple App Store for allowing such a sloppy scheme on the App Store. Hopefully they will he removed with all of my proof put forward. Also hopefully moving forward with the legal situation. I’m sure I will get a case ID and be able to take this further. They are nothing more than thieves. Please I recommend never sign up for this account please. Its my worst experience. Open any other account but not this. One of my incoming payment of £610 on 29th. Jun. was declined on this account when this account was under some kind of maintenance and the payment didn’t even go back into the sender’s account. I confirmed that. So When I tried to reach to the customer support by telephone it was Completely impossible. They put you on a hold for an hour and so and after simply disconnect the calls every time. So I tried to reach them by email which they are not even bother to answer. So I tried to reach them by web chat. When I finally managed to chat with them they asked me my details. When I just simply give them my all the details. The customer executive writes me that you have failed the security and I am going to block your account. Its simply ridiculous as my details were absolutely accurate. And he blocked me even without any further chat even before when I tried to give my reply. Now I had £82 in my account. So all together £692 I have lost all of my money. And I just can’t get it back. They are simply just ignoring me all the time. Because I am unable to talk or chat to any customer executive now. I can’t get my own money back. That is why I am trying to aware all of you guys please do not open this account. You will stuck too.

Money on card, can’t use the card or withdraw the money.

Ordered a card, set up an account and put money on the card. To activate the card you need the PIN number which you can only get after you have answered the message to the question (what is the first school you went too...) I answered the question with the same answer on signing up but it says it’s incorrect, the only way to reset the question is to contact via phone which is what their faq’s say. I’ve been calling for over a week now, spent over 4 hours on hold collectively because it cuts you off after half an hour on hold, not only that but it plays the COVID message 3 or 4 times at the start of the call. I tried to withdraw my money but obviously I can’t without the answer to my secret question which doesn’t work. So now I have money on a card I can’t use, can’t talk to anyone and can’t get my money back soo yeah 1 star rating from me which is justified I think.

My money has been blocked?!

I had loved this service UNTIL NOW, I emailed them during this lockdown were in to ask can they block a company from taking a payment? I just didn’t want to pay a £9.99 membership fee they never mentioned when I ordered something, so it took ages for pockit to answer me and they said they will halt my account so no payments can be made?! Halt my account for how long?? I could of blocked my card myself the app lets you do this ?! And I’m in lockdown I suffer with asthma and bronchial issues and I’m 62years, I’ve waited a month to get any groceries and I have an Asda payment due out in a few days, I finally got an online order by the skin of my teeth , I will be paying a mini cab to pick it up for me and if there going to keep my account locked I’m not going to get my groceries?! It’s appalling almost criminal to block my money , especially during these coronavirus days, I’m worried stiff I can’t get my groceries as no payments are going out, and I’m due another payment to go in this week which I can’t stop , they took me ages to answer when I just enquired can they stop a payment, had I if known they would block my whole account I wish I kept my mouth shut, I’m worried stiff I’m not going to get my grocery order and my fridge and cupboards are empty and I’m here alone , my daughter lives 160 miles away!

100% would NOT recommend this service. Myself and a friend got stopped on the street and we’re basically forced to sign up. You have to put £10 into the Pockit account otherwise they take £10 from your bank as a sign up fee. What they don’t tell you is they actually charge you monthly to use the service, you can put money from your bank to Pockit but you can not transfer money from Pockit to your bank account. I signed up over two months ago and have still not received a card. I’ve emailed multiple times and have been told they were sending a new card out ( so about 3 cards were meant to be sent out) in which none have arrived. This meaning I have no card to activate my account, no way of getting my £10 back either but guess what. £10 isn’t even in there now because of the monthly charges. Absolute scam! Just a way for them to get money 😕 DON’T recommend!

Don't trust your £'s with these bandits

I have very little good to say about this company.
I only use this card for small amounts and transactions. A lot of the time they failed causing embarrassment and recourse to using one of my other cards. Several weeks after having the card, I was locked out of the app for no apparent reason. The message said: "Unfortunately, you won't be able to access your account while we're reviewing your details. We appreciate your patience and we will get in touch with you once the review is complete."
This was over a month ago and they haven't been in touch at all, I'm still locked out and I still don't know why. The thing is the amounts I had on the card were so small I can't see what the problem is, but they're still taking the monthly fee.

Very good, and priced fairly

I transfer my shopping money monthly so I can keep track of what we’re spending and set ourselves a budget. I really like that I can have sub accounts which I use for my children so they don’t carry cash around with them. The 99p fee per month works out a lot cheaper than the annual fees that the children’s pocket money cards charge. Although I appreciate that they have more features, if you have more than one child they work out very expensive!
The only problem I’ve had is the contactless chip has stopped working on mine and my partners card. And my daughters card was declined a couple of times when there was actually money on it (possibly a contactless purchase?!)
I’m very pleased with it overall.

The best prepay card

Been usin this card to pay for a lot of stuff and is absolutely brilliant. I’ve had this card now for some time now and although I do have a bank account, it’s not always easy to deposit money as I work nights and can’t always get to the bank in time. A lot of times I used to stay up till the bank opens or get up really early so as to get to the bank on time and sometimes always rushing before they close or worse can’t get to the bank in time, ie rush hour, problems parking and queues, etc.
This has made my life (personal and working) so much easier. Just pop into any pay point shop, day or night, and load your money and it’s available straightaway. Brilliant! Can’t recommend this enough. Only issue I have is transfer in or out takes time, sometimes it’s quick about an hour and lot of other times it takes longer. Someone please sort this out. Everything with the app is spot on, notifications, sign in using Touch ID, balances, statements, just like a contemporary bank but more.

Horrendous Company!

1* is even abit high!! PLEASE AVOID.
Horrendous company who allowed me to setup an account very easily. Card paid for and was in my hands within 3 days.
My friend owed me some money (approx £300) no problems. Arrived in my account the next day. THEN!! Pockit decide to block my account and demand all sorts of identification. Happy to send as I want to unblock my account and be free to use the bank. This was the beginning of April. They keep sending me the same automated message saying they cannot provide a timescale but should be approx 24 hours. Its been WEEKS!!!!!!! Blocked account and no access with no urgency with the fact £300 has gone and was very needed for bills. Asking for personal conversation screenshots (possibly to extend the time between scamming me and hoping I give up) THE MOST RIDICULOUS COMPANY EVER AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD THEIR ACCOUNTS BLOCKED. Loads of people have written negative reviews on facebook. I wouldn’t mind but it has been 6 weeks and their customer service do not care I am going to end up in debt if they do not release the money.

So far.....not too good!

I have just opened a Pockit account and found that trying to use their website is a nightmare. I tried to open an action request without success. I moved on to another again it would not open. I tried to change the date of a loqbox payment as I knew that my account would not be able to pay it ( for 4 days) and finally had to close it. When I was eventually able to make contact by phone....it takes ages to get a response... I learnt that loqbox is a third party and I must now chase them to get my opening payment for the loqbox. I have only just opened a pockit account so my loqbox fee of £9.99 could be a throwaway. I was told by the pockit rep. on the phone that they wait for up to 10 days before cancelling the loqbox arrangement! If I had known that there would have been no problem. Harry Broph

Great spends account

Great app and great product. Fresh and vibrant colour so no more losing your card or if you do it’s easier to find.
Let’s you do what most banks let you do.
Only down side for me is it doesn’t offer faster payments which is odd as it charges a pound for transfers so would of expected that to be a faster payment. Tho that’s not. Problem for me the issue is when receiving a transfer from my high street bank which does offer faster payments and for free but takes a Few hours to hit my Pockit account and up to three days. Not the end of the world but still slightly annoying at times.
Overall tho still deserves five stars.

Loving it,makes my life so much easier

I found pockit on Facebook of all place. I got my new card and account the next day,I was told up to 5workimg days. The app is great everything you need always at hand,it very easy to use. When I called the call centre help line for some help, the lady was very nice friendly and really helpful. I've had no problems at all with my pockit account and card. The card is contactless so can also be used on the bus or need something quite. If you are thinking of getting an account yourself I say do it. It's made my life so much easier I had no ID to open a bank account. Thank you Pockit

Brilliant

very minimalist approach to having you own card and bank in your pocket. Fantastic and would recommend 99p a month is great an worth it only issue is there are other functions that cost money in the app like transferring money that costs 99p and putting money on your card with cash cost 99p is well these functions made me so happy with the app but is far to expensive. If they would just charge 99p a month to use most all feature as some of these basic ones this would be number one uaccount is free but doesn’t update as quick as this.

Beware this company is a FRAUD!

I had been a Pockit customer for a year and used the service as my secondary account. One day i was going through my transaction history and noticed a few transactions which I didn’t recognise. I immediately contacted Pockit to report this and the lady i spoke with said it will be looked into and somebody will be in touch soon. A few days later I received an email saying your account is now closed, I contacted Pockit straight away and nobody could explain to me why my account had been closed not even a manager! To make matters worse I received a refund into my account on the day the account was closed and they company is even refusing to give me this refund which they have confirmed came into my account! The unauthorised transactions on my account ammounted to around £300 and the refund around £50 so this company has defrauded me out of £350 and decided to close my account instead of investigating it and resolving it. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!! Absolute FRAUD and the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life!!!

I use it as a budget card

With so many transactions going in and out of my bank account I wanted a card to just put my monthly spending on to keep a better track of my finances. I researched a lot of these cards and despite the 99p charges here and there, this card came out top. To be fair to the company, the card has to make money somehow so I get it. The card has worked everywhere, except Pay at Pump Petrol stations. The App gives you daily updates on your balance, advises you when the card has been used and monitors what you spend your money on. I think this particular card and app has been very well thought out and I believe it’s the best on the market.

Amazing customer service

I believe that reviews here should be about apps, and so it puzzles me how many people (ab)use this space to criticise e. g. an airline for their poor service rather than reviewing their app. I will therefore focus on the Pockit app first - which is brilliant and hardly leaves anything to be desired. Not only has it been stable since day one, it also couldn’t be any simpler to keep track of all transactions. Even money transfers abroad are a piece of cake, very fast and absolutely competitively priced. The user interface is slick, modern and intuitive. All in all, the big, traditional banks could (and should) really learn a thing or two from Pockit.
Where the app lets itself down - hence only 4 stars - is the login process. I have got an iPhone X and there doesn’t seem to be support for Face ID. This means I have to type in my (lengthy) password every time I want to check my balance etc. which is pretty annoying given the otherwise flawless performance of the Pockit app.
Finally, because there have been some complaints here, I would like to briefly report on my own experience with their customer service. A Paypoint deposit had not worked properly, i. e. the money I had paid in only showed up briefly in my Pockit account and then disappeared. I contacted customer service through their website, and within 20 minutes I received a reply, asking me for a copy of the Paypoint receipt. I emailed this over to them and shortly after, the missing money was back in my account and an apology from Pockit in my email inbox. Mistakes do happen everywhere, but this is customer service at its best.
All in all, I wouldn’t want to be without this brilliant payment and banking solution anymore with its - almost - perfect app!

Greatcard

Great wee card to start saveing with as you can also pay anywhere and use it for inernet shopping well worth getting!!! I am 35 but don’t have a bank account or credit cards as I mucked all that up when I basically not knowing at17-18?bumped my check books at the time so I have ran from banks but I kept haveing to use other peoples accounts familay and freinds in order to top accounts up I applied for this the Pockit card was with me in 2weeka and I now can do all sorts off things I hadn’t even realized I had from I’m amazed what this wee cards done for me I’m even now gonne go for a new bank account

Disgruntled

I’m afraid I’m struggling to find anything good to say about Pockit. They are almost impossible to reach by telephone, (the number on my card has been replaced by another) and when you do get the right number, an hour or more will suffice if you want to speak to someone.
When you email an urgent query about a possible fraud, you are promised a reply within 48 hours (which would be poor enough) but a stock impersonal response is sometimes issued, sometimes not, after around a week.
I have yet to get a conclusion to a straightforward recall of a pending payment after 4 months. They send the same reply about ‘not having a timescale’ each time, so with or without the App, the service is appalling.
The App constantly asks you to sign in using Touch ID. This does not work. Ever. To be asked to try something you know not to work each to you log on is frustrating to say the least. When trying to add funds, the app frequently crashes or even says the loading of the card has failed, when if you log out and in again is actually hasn’t. This can, of course lead to transactions being taken twice, plus 99p fee of course.
Really, both the card company and the App leave a lot to be desired. There should be more respect for their customers and a reliable interface.

I really like Pockit, it’s fairly priced with the charges, I am using this account with three separate balance cards on it For my children so I am able to transfer money to them and keep an eye on what they are spending it on, this really helps for Christmas and I would definitely recommend them, the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is that the customer service number is very poor as nobody ever answers the phone, but if this was improved it would give your customers more confidence and enable you to sort out any problems very quickly, after all top customer service is the key to any business. This is my constructive criticism and if this was improved I would rate them five stars.

Great alternative card

It's a very useful and good card for me so far as I can do all transactions online and in store with no fuss. It helps me maintaining my monthly financial expenses as I can manage it wisely because I only reload the amount that I need to use especially for shopaholic like myself. The only thing that Pockit needs to improve is your customer service handling time and waiting time. I personally think that your customer service and customer waiting time are still very poor, therefore I always try to sort any issues I have with the card by looking for answers online rather than phoning your team.
