I am happy with the number of steps but the calories is often out of sync with two readings of step numbers about the same but large variation on calories counted.
"Pedometer" records the number of steps you have walked and displays them again along with the number of calories that you have burned, distance, walking time and speed per hour.
It is easy to use. Once you push the Start button, all you have to do is hold your smartphone as you always do and walk.
Of course, it will continue to automatically record your steps even if you put it in your pocket or bag.
You can view a graph with the number of steps you have walked and all other information anytime.
Let's enjoy walking with this app!
How to use
- Touch on the number of steps, burned calories, distance, walking time, or speed to display the graph with that information.
- Touch the graph to highlight information data for a specific time or date.
- Swipe to the left to see the data recorded until the previous day.
- If you want to change the look of the app, change the theme.
- In order to display the correct number of burned calories, please enter your age, gender, weight and step length accurately.
- In order to display the correct distance and speed, please enter your step length accurately.

I use pedometer every day to check the statistics of my daily walk.
I pay particular attention to calories burnt to see whether I can have one chocolate biscuit or two!
Stopped working not sure why now not doing every day it’s a shame as was relying on it
Unable to stop/ start steps so absolutely useless
31st July is missing from the calendar!
Have facility only 65 day & find it worthwhile for a 78
yr old male , of benefit for my outdoor pursuits. Thank- you APPLE.
I really like this app. I have tried others. but this I prefere.
My Pedometer isn’t counting all my steps can you help
I often look back to see how far I have walked on certain days but it leaves out several days - for example I walked about 2.5 miles yesterday but when I looked at 00.15 it took me back 3 days and had registered nothing in between - please fix it so you can go back through each day
This used to be brilliant, but just lately it misses whole chunks of my walking.... Eg. I walk 2 miles to work each morning and then (obviously) 2 miles home. However, some days this app misses the walk to work/home for some reason. I used to be able to correct this by shutting my phone down and then restarting-but even that doesn’t do the trick anymore :0(
My friend added the pedometer to my phone as i was using one which clicked onto my pocket! It has been amazing & i cannot thank her enough for introducing me to this.
I have MD and this helps immenselyas it is clear and large enough for me ti see.
It’s a great way of keeping track of your steps the most I’ve recorded in a day is 28,000 steps; and it’s free 😎👍
Superb pedometer the best I have downloaded
Seems inconsistent as same route produces different readings.
Calibration could be done using GPS and not as a separate trial but randomly at the same time. Terrain changes stride length as does duration and this should be accommodated.
Uses rather a lot of battery so an on- off switch would be helpful.
Otherwise a useful App.
All this and more, a route today known and recorded several times by this app as 1.61 miles recorded 1.34 today. Disappointed as have been using this App for a year but differing readings like this show its instability and geostat calibration needs incorporating.
A year on, there are many of these sort of apps to chose from. This is a rather ragged example. Choses when it works and when it does its inconsistent. It needs also ability to amend wrong logs and add miles done without phone.
I guess I shall be walking on greener pastures. No real point in offering suggestions as updates are few and far between and suggestions are not takenup.
It’s a good app but for the last few days it has not been syncing with my iPhone. An update is needed to rectify this syncing issue.
Seems to skip a day. Also doesn’t also show all of the steps I’ve walked in a day. When I switch my phone off then on again, all the missing days and steps appear!
I notice I’m not the first reviewer to report this. Can it be rectified?
Very happy to use this app
The app on my iPhone often fails to register all the steps I take. Often stops counting them in batches of 2000 steps. The apple health app and my Fitbit record the correct numbers most of the time. I know this because sadly I count the steps as I walk!
A frustrated user.
It doesn’t count all the days that I walk it’s saying I didn’t walk anything on the 21st when I was walking all the time at work as I was cheffing 😡
Happened twice now, for some reason stops registering steps. Checked in Health app and activity is there.
Only had 10 days but as I always have my phone works great does not use hardly any battery
Keeps missing days out/ weeks sometimes.
Sadly it looks good but inaccurate
I like this pedometer app it is accurate and really good
I really love this app easy to manage excellent for someone who is trying to lose weight. It works with me counting calories what I take and what I burn !
Thank you guys !
A great little App! Just measures steps via simply attractive user interface giving accurately results. Thing more required. Thank you.
Lately you have miscalculated my daily steps by a wide margin I know this as I have an iPhone that also measures my daily activity for me not good is it
Day to day comparisons not possible. Back day goes back 5 days.
Can’t start and stop. Some of the functions are not on iPhone SE but they are on an iPhone 5C ???
I've tried a few other free pedometers but prefer this one. Surprised to find that I now walk further than I drive and can smugly show the stats to prove it.
Works very well but how can it be set to zero?
The PEdometer Doesn’t recognize properly and it doesn’t commence counting steps Automatically
I’m puzzled about why only a few days get recorded. Sometimes a whole week is left out, sometimes most of the month. It’s impossible to get even a rough idea of the average steps I am taking in a day.
Very helpful gives me a challenge feels good to see what I’ve done. MYPERSONALFEELGOODFACTOR
Sometimes it is inaccurate
I like using pedometer but it keeps stopping from working randomly. It’s really annoying as I am trying to increase my steps
App works just as good if not better than the wright up say will recommend to friends Well Done 5⭐️ssss
Very useful walking app I ever have! Love the way of calories calculator from this app too!
Most days it’s brill but other days it says I’ve not done many steps when I have and then it misses days completely as if I’ve done nothing
Was fine on old iPhone 4 but rubbish on iPhone 6
Crap worse step counter by far
When working well, good to keep track of how far you have travelled, presented well in a graph. Unfortunately, the count sometimes gets stuck - so no recording; similarly, too easy to turn off by accident. Best feature is to compare exercise, day by day & month by month
Doesn’t record all my steps everyday, skips a few days then records it again, what is the point in having record a few days out of 7 ?
