Excellent course for beginners new to trading
This app is excellent for beginners like me who are interested in trading. It clearly explains the mechanisms, terminology involved with trading as well as the different strategies available.
The questions in the end of section quizzes are a useful way to consolidate learning and to stimulate thinking on real trading scenarios.

Optimised to keep the traders eyes wide open to the risk
I’ve been working with the IG.COM platform since October 2018. So far I’ve been down in losses by £6,000 (-40%) and up in profits by £12,000 (+120%) from an initial investment of £10,000. At all times I’ve had the IG academy to help me understand the full level of risk involved with my use of the platform. This has been a tremendous learning curve, but having my eyes held wide open by the academy to the inherent risk of spread betting trades has been a great benefit.

Top drawer information
I had my doubts about this app, I thought it be like a lot of other junk thats out there, but I was so pleasantly surprised.
I've been wanting to start retail trading for a while now, but even though I have a looked at and studied trading tools, I still felt underprepared to going to the markets. This app has actually given me the confidence and tools to take the plunge. Thank you IG.

Brilliant
Wanted to get into trading and came across this app. Great content and I like the fact it quizzes you at the end of each segment to make sure the knowledge has gone in. For someone starting out, it is comprehensive and well rounded so has probably saved me hours of scouring the web looking for this level of detail.

Good content but stability issues
The content is good and well presented but the app suffers from a number of stability issues. When swiping up between individual lessons the app hangs trying to ‘load content’ and having completed a quiz I was unable to submit the results. Would also be helpful if the app could remember me for a period (days or even weeks) to save time logging in every time.

Very clear form of education. A good mix of words, pictures, diagrams and video. The size of the sections ensure Bute size info is packaged well to try to maximise knowledge retention. People generally hate tests but it's the best way to see if you have retained and understand something. Just need to figure out what my risk profile will be now!!!
