You’re in control
- Annoying ads are blocked and some nonintrusive ads are displayed by default
- You can change this setting at any time (Settings -> Acceptable Ads)
- Adblock Plus for iOS is a content blocker for iOS 9, and it supports the same devices as iOS 9, including iPhone 4s and above, iPad 2 and above, or iPad mini and above.
- Older (non 64-bit) devices such as the iPhone 4 or iPad are not compatible.
- This is a limitation set by Apple, not Adblock Plus.

This app is not even updated fir the iPhone X or Xs Max. Does not block apps well either very slow.
I enable on content blockers, wait and it does nothing. Waste of time.
I cant get it to work i dont know if it is only safari but i had tons of adds after using this (same amount)
So i am giving it a DNDL (do not download)
At first is good , smooth to use, than recently it is Very slow on safari ipad , sorry to feedback bad comment, hope tech can do something on that.
Literally doesn’t do anything. Very poor.
I did turn on contents blockers and enable Adblock Plus... wait for 10sec... nothing happened?.... I am confusing.... please help?
With ABP running and safari set to allow it as the only content blocker, I am seeing a large number of ads on most websites.
Has something gone off the boil?
After the iOS update 11.4 adblocker no longer stops pop up video playing, I have tried uninstalling/installing but problem is still present. Any updates to prevent these pop ups?
I’ve been using AdBlock on computer for years and years.
I’m still getting ads on iOS on safari even after unenabling “allow non intrusive ads”.
I’m still getting ads. Simple as that.
The upgrade to IOS 11.3 has stopped AdBlock Plus 1.1.0 from working. Can we have an update please.
Using ipad4 mini 128gb on iOS 11 with all updates installed.
Been using AdBlock on PCs for years. But on trying this app on my new iPad the ads seemed immune to whatever the app was trying to block them with. That was using the YT app. So established that indeed ABP can’t affect the native YT app.
Running Safari and accessing YOU TUBE via a search, clicking on that SEEMED to launch the site but I found what was happening was the link was actually launching the YT app without so-reporting, hence ads worming their evil way back in.
Seemed but one way to get around that so I took it.
Binned the You Tube app! (Britspeak for uninstalled it)
Now running Ad Block Plus in Safari and - no ads so far. Handling YT in Safari is clunkier than using its app, to be expected. But to be rid of the now ad-infested view that Google has foisted us with is just great. Some ads, I’d no objections as the service offered is pretty good. But like most ultra big business Google got ultra greedy and flooded YT with ads every several minutes. Hence my reaction.
Use this on my home pc & works ok,but getting too aggressive on safari, blocks Search result links in google & blocks images which aren’t ads
Doesn't work. Pop ups flying left right and centre. Don't waste your time.
Its working very well thanks so much
There are some ads who don’t get blocked, even video with sound ads that pop out when you scroll down inside an article. After google it I found that if you pay them you get your ads showing.
Blocks online stores, walk-in clinic websites, and so many things that just shouldnt be blovked.... piece of s.....
Stick with the pre November version as they now show Google ads and there is no way to block them. Uninstalled and now using 1blocker
Doesn’t block redirects on Engadget
I had to disable my restrictions (Limit Adult Content) before I could enable Content Blockers.
It WAS the best, but now more and more ads sneaking through.
Doesn't block all ads, still get plenty of pop ups.
This app was great .... once upon a time. Now when I go to click on 80% of sponsor sites, the whole site gets blocked !!
Sort this out guys as I'm now forever turning this once great app on and off!!
The app blocks Google shopping links but when you add Google shopping to the white list it still doesn't work.
Whitelisting sites dont make any difference :/
Do all what it says, so far, on my mobile. Have the same one on my pc for years too.
I've waited loads longer than 10 seconds for when you turn it on in the safari options thing and it doesn't work. Pissing me off
good but it broke pornhub for me
No longer works
I'm still getting popups on my iPhone 7 even after disabling the 'allow some non-intrusive ads'. Uninstalling the app pronto!
This app as the title says is not blocking ads anymore on safari and this is really sad
I uninstall it hopefully to fixed but still not working so this is why 1 star :/
If it fixed i will give 5 stars :)
Works as expected, no issues. Simply get rid of all thos annoying pop ups!
In terms of blocking ads, this works well; however, the Whitelist doesn't function at all for me. IOS 10; iPad Pro 12.9.
Used to work great but more and more the 'sponsored links' section at bottom of pages were not being blocked and I got sick of seeing articles ending with 'one weird trick' over and over again so uninstalled. Try lion out seems to work better than this
Trying to get this app working for a while but it doesn't block anything.
It was 5 stars until I realised yesterday that it doesn't block YouTubes as anymore :( fix please
It blocks most ads, but ublock origin is still much better
Great blocks alll ads for all sites
Says not compatible, have iPad 2 with iOS 9.
Adblock Plus has been more reliable and accurate than any of the other content blockers available for iOS over the past year or so.
HOWEVER: there are one or two sites (Autotrader being one) that simply do not load when it is running. The whitelist feature conveniently does not work. I'm heading elsewhere. Fix the whitelist and I'll be back.
When you ask for help, someone replies once (clearly to get it off the system) and then doesn't reply anymore. So this ad doesn't work on a Twitter mobile and neither do the team behind it, it would seem.
Just updated and the ads are back, great......
