I have installed every free version of solar walk, paid for this app, clicked on IAP, BUT it comes at full price? So where is the discount?? Also in this version this is no language option, even in the free lite version there is one. Paid more for less? Disappointed

I just got this on 3.5.19 in the morning and love this app so I got the app but it took awhile to download but it downloaded and I played it for a awhile and enjoyed it love it I rate this app 5 stars because it is awesome! Also great textures! Next time can you please add other galaxies and supernovas. Venus and Jupiter look really nice.

It shows so beautiful 3d graphics of the planets, and has music. But not much else. Unless I am missing something. I have an app that I bought a long time, which I can point at the sky and see what the constellations are. This does nothing, just swoops through each planet and the sun. Not worth the high price. Sorry

Solar Walk was a great app. Absolutely fantastic. Solar Walk 2 is a let down in comparison. I find the navigation frustrating and fiddly, it "snaps" sometimes and you may be unexpectedly taken to a different planet or the sun. The zooming animations are slow and unnecessary and the new feature that automatically speeds up time is a pain to use or even turn off. At least it has more up to date information and a few more animated planets (such as Jupiter's clouds). If I could bring those to the old app with it's better controls I would because navigating this app is awkward.

Very nice app with lovely information however also misinformation in the animations. The colour of the sun is display as yellow so even inside which is absolutely not true. The real sun colour is coolish white on the surface and it goes more and more blue to violet to ultraviolet. Moon temperatures are so wrong -123C on day side what a joke.

This 'updated' version of the app is incredibly difficult to use control wise, with the snap on feature always seems to want to throw me off to distant stars rather then to the simple task of looking at the Earth or something.

Plus everything paid for on the previous version is of course gone, with much basic things and features needed to be paid for on this version, which is pretty ridiculous.

I did however like the smoother, more detailed look on the planets. Information is more simpler to understand find. So I guess it's more aiming towards education the young then being a fun handy app for the older uses.

I'm a reasonably keen stargazer, and also a volunteer scout leader. I find this really helpful in teaching the young people where the stars & planets are & what they look like in reality, not a point of light. Would recommend as a good first steps app.

Just updated from SolarWalk 1 to this new version. I have just installed it onto my new iPad Pro and it is absolutely spectacular! What with the stunning content now being displayed on the 12.9" iPad Pro display, and it's enhanced processor and graphics capabilities, truly displays the app and its contents to the fullest advantage. Well worth the cost of the upgrade, especially on the iPad Pro.
