The official David Lloyd Clubs app is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch (iOS 8.0.0 or later). The app is available in English, Dutch, French, Spanish and Catalan.
The David Lloyd Clubs app is the easy and convenient way to view your club's timetables, book group exercise classes and book courts while on the move.
We will be releasing regular upgrades and enhancements, so look out for updates.
David Lloyd is currently exploring the following new app features after listening to members' feedback:
- In app registration
- Club attendance data
- Creche bookings
- Court bookings with a payment (bookings with H&F members)
- Class bookings with a fee (e.g. reformer pilates)

I was woken up by a notification at 12.30am asking me to review my experience in the gym. I don’t recall allowing notifications. Other than that a handy app, although classes fill up very quickly.

Finding this app really useful I just wished it properly supported iPhone XS Max. It doesn’t extend up to the notch and the tab buttons are too close to the home indicator
I can tell it’s not a native app as the transitions are a little slow and doesn’t support swipe to go back

This app is rubbish always have problems booking they have to fix it on a weekly basis. Anyway the coaches get an extra day on everyone else to book a tennis court so the system is rigged against the ordinary member!

Few improvements needed to timetable and bookings

Predominantly a good app however it’s frustrating to scroll down the timetable, select a class to view, and when you go back to the timetable, it has already scrolled all the way back to the start of the day. Would be better to return the user back to the previous position in the timetable.
Also, when a class is fully booked and alerts are set, when get a notification and click on it nothing happens-the class is still booked. Not obvious if the space has already been filled or what you need to do if you are notified that a space has become free.

The app is fine in terms of function. I can book classes with no issue. But every single time I use it or go to the gym it asks me to rate my visit and takes me through an irritating feedback process. I understand that feedback helps them improve but for the love of god, I go to the gym almost every day and this is harassment. Please stop asking me for feedback or it will become increasingly negative to the point where I will launch a campaign against the app, taking it to the supreme courts, arguing it infringes on my right to left the hell alone

Terrible! You download the new app, enter your log in details, and get the message ‘Oops, there is a problem, please try later’. So now I can’t use the app at all. Even tried resetting my password. I am on ios10.3 but since the update have no class listing and can't book. Useless. All I can do is see what I book via clunky slow desktop or via reception. Oh and how many guest passes I have. Not useful. Had zero issues from October til update.

David Lloyd app not working

The app is not working since the latest update (v29.0.3) on my iPhone5 iOS 10. The timetable pages are blank so I'm unable to book anything. Fortunately I also have an iPad (iOS 12) which I can use but not everyone will have a second device to use. I would have thought the app update would have been checked for compatibility before being released. According to the App Store it should be compatible from iOS 9 up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and resetting my phone but still not working.

The classes I attend are booked up in a few minutes, so this means I can no longer get into them. As I only go to these at the club, It makes it pointless me being a member!

I referred a friend to the Stevenage club and was told I would be given two guest passes. That was over two weeks ago. After emailing the sales manager to ask for these passes as they had not yet appeared in my app, I was told the app had issues and advised to delete it and download it again. I did that, still no passes. Emailed the sales manager again last week and still no answer. Very very very disappointed and feel bad about referring my friend...I’m putting it here as I can’t find the complaints procedures anywhere?!

Good app for booking crèche and classes. Would be better to have it configured with Apple Pay. Currently have to type in long card number, expiry, name on card and code to book the crèche which puts the app behind most others these days.

Latest update to classes now has Yoga split into four categories. Although one seems to have nothing in it (at least for Edinburgh anyway). Also ordering of categories is also confusing as it would be better to have the Yoga prefix before the style, as opposed to the other way around.
Once you mark them as favourites it does help, but makes the whole process of booking classes much more cumbersome as you cannot view the full weeks Yoga in one area. Overall a step backwards.

This app does not allow access to members from the DL in Barcelona. We have to download another app however if you do not have a Spanish App Store account - this is impossible.

I have tried many times to log onto this website but it says login has failed despite having changed the password three times. I know I have an account as every time I try to set up an account it tells me an account with the email and member number I have already exists. I have received the emails regarding a change of password however even after changing the password I am unsuccessful at logging in.

It is a great app for booking the relevant classes and sessions you want.
To be better would love the following:
1. Add or utilise payment details like Apple Pay so that classes etc can be paid seamlessly into app, without having to pay for classes with card.
2. Have membership details on app so no need to carry card as well... similar to what you get with airline member etc.

The app doesn’t allow me to amend a court booking without first cancelling or calling the front desk. I want to be able to change which court I’m playing on if a preferred court becomes available without having to call in.

When I book a tennis court it doesn’t let me know see later or what I have booked or cancel it for that matter.
Paid classes can’t be done through the app but you are being redirected to main site.
Some of the kids classes do not state clearly they age and it is not until you click to book that you get thrown back because of the age of the child.

I’ve been caught in traffic and missed some after work classes and end up with a booking ban due to something out of my control. Advised to bring this to your attention by a member of staff.

Takes long to book at peak times

This app is better than booking via phone or PC but it takes long to load at peak times for popular classes where you can be left disappointed as classes become full within minutes leaving you with no booking. There is the option of using the alert button which lets you know of cancellations but again this could take a week if and when a space becomes available! I guess David Lloyd needs to put more classes on to prevent member dissatisfaction and frustration.

Grace from head office has now resolved the issue so hopefully that won’t happen again. I don’t like though how I’ve had 5 emails and 5 notifications telling me I’ve had a developer response and it hasn’t stopped until I’ve updated my feedback-from Apple not DL.
I’ve never had any issues with the app until January then it deleted my ability to book my children in- got that sorted and now I can’t view my bookings or delete anything via the app. It’s becoming really annoying... I feel like I’m constantly having issues with the app and being told log out and log back in. I’ve tried that and tried deleting and reinstalling... no luck.
