Description

There is a new threat in Ninjago, and he goes by the name of Ronin. With help from his army of dark samurai, Ronin steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive.
In LEGO® Ninjago™: Shadow of Ronin™, it is up to players to help the Ninjas regain their memories and reclaim their powers before Ronin completes his plan and releases an even greater evil on Ninjago. Players will battle through iconic locales from the TV series, including the Ice Temple, the Toxic Bogs, and a mysterious new island, as well as visit the mountain village of Spinjago, where the Ninjas are currently training with Grand Sensei Dareth and Sensei Wu.

Great game!

For anyone who’s reading the reviews and is seeing a lot of bad reviews about the game not working, that issue has been fixed, the game runs very well even on old phones,
Very fun game, I’d definitely recommend it if you like the Ninjago series, only problem I’d have is that the voice actors sound really cursed at times but other than that amazing game (for anyone that can’t figure out how to dash on mobile, swipe across the screen)

Hate this game

The volcanic slide bit where Kai is on a jet pack is way to hard there’s no way not to touch the lava that challenge is literally impossible change to something less hard

Mostly excellent with just a couple of (minor) flaws

A typically excellent Lego game, amazing value for money. My 6 year old has spent hours on it, and is happy to go back and replay levels to find the collectables and unlock characters.
Like all the the excellent Lego games (Star Wars, Jurassic world, Batman) we rely heavily on a walkthrough guide to find the collectibles (usually following the PlayStation Vita or DS ones). It feels a bit like cheating but we’ve completed all of the above this way.
Only gripes with this game are that there are a few occasional glitches where the game restarts, or the sound disappears and you have to restart it, but most levels are no more than 5-10 mins so not really a problem. The worst is the Volcanic Slide level where you have to avoid the lava to get the last collectable. The jump on this iOS version doesn’t clear the lava so it seems impossible to me. We’ll only ever get to 99.6% complete - aargh!
Some tips - save the coins you collect to buy the red brick multipliers first (before worrying about buying characters) - these multipliers (x2, x5 and x10) will help you more later when you need to buy 500,000 costing characters to access certain collectables and complete the game.
Once you’ve completed the level once, next time you don’t have to finish it once you’ve found whatever collectable you want, just head back to the map (note, you keep the collectables and achievements this way, but NOT the coins you collected - you have to finish the level to ‘bank’ the coins).

Ninjago. My experience

It’s a good game but a problem, I know you guys will say it. Bugs. Bugs are a big problem in this game which I don’t like. And the things are confusing, so there’s this but where after a fight the ninja just talk. But in a different bit it gets kind of more realistic. I don’t get what other people say

People say that this is a horrible game, but it is not. The levels are action packed, and even when you are not in combat, you are completing puzzles. The game has a great storyline and helps set up ronin in season 5 of the show. The way you unlock characters like golden Lloyd and red bricks are challenging. Overall I think it is a great game and a good purchase for 4.49 I you are reading this Tt games keep up the good work.

Pls fix this

I have had this game since I got my iPad in 2016 I love the game it is really fun but with a bit of bugs like on the level where Kai is riding on his broken jet pack through the temple of fire I tried to do the floor is lava achievement but it is impossible because when I press jump I don’t jump and at random bit it just jumps automatically when I didn’t want it to and it just feels like a bouncy castle PS please reply

Can’t progress

Not Happy

Decided to purchase this today for our 4yr old, really disappointed, it crashes every time we open it, it just won’t start on my iPad Pro, it’s does not appear to have family sharing as it suggests either...like others my boy is really upset as I made the mistake of showing him the app then downloading it to find it won’t work at all.
As other have said, and I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this..DO NOT BUY THIS APP..
I will now be trying to get this refunded..not happy and things like this should not be allowed.

Can’t even get it to load... disgraceful

I would be leaving no stars but can’t, the game won’t even load! stupidly I downloaded it and paid the £4.99 as my son is a massive Ninjago fan without checking more reviews, but since have looked and it obviously has some serious bugs! Could even get it to start

This games does not work. I thought the other reviews might be exaggerated and that no-one would allow a game that costs £4.99 to be completely unplayable but I was wrong. The game does not load past the menu screen which has led to a very disappointed 9 year old Ninjago fan. Disgraceful use of the Lego brand.

Crashes almost immediately on opening in latest iOS

Not fit for purpose. Crashes almost immediately on the later iOS versions.
Suggested fix is to use an old iOS version to save to cloud etc ... which we don’t have so this game is not fit for purpose

Don’t download save money

Downloaded this for my son who was very excited about it. Firstly it requires a lot of memory which meant clearing some space for it to download. Now I have managed to clear the space and download it crashes every time we try to play the game. Not good enough for the price. Save money and child heartache today!!!

Awful! Keeps crashing!

Like others, I find that the game crashes on loading. I have tried reinstalling and restarting the iPad, but the same thing happens again. This really shouldn’t be allowed. My children are upset as they were looking forward to playing. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Take the advice: DO NOT BUY! Now to try to get a refund!

Terrible!

Just purchased this game for my son. To put it simply it doesn’t work. It crashes before the game even starts from the menu. £4.99 wasted! Rip off

Coolest app ever but .......

It’s amazing and I’ve played it before but I deleted it because it was taking up to much space on my phone. Then a couple weeks later I deleted some of the apps and it wouldn’t work so I deleted more and it still won’t work. It’s a minor problem but it’s a great game! ( even though it still won’t work now.) PS plz can you not lose if you just die once cause its really really annoying and makes the game three times more hard and ten times more annoying. Waste of time

I purchased and installed this for my Grandson who is Ninjago obsessed, however each time he presses to start the game it closes. It’s installed on my iPad mini 4 so if anyone has any clue as how to solve the issue I’d be grateful? I note there are other reviews describing the same issues. As a last resort I had deleted and reinstalled the app but no luck.

Best Game Ever!

I normally don’t write reviews for games but I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about this game so I just wanted to tell people if they are looking for a great, fun new Ninjago game, then this is the one! I can’t stop playing it!!

Great Game ! But to many bugs

My son loves this game but it’s very frustrating to see it constantly crashing . Restarting the game doesn’t help what so ever, huge disappointment.

Please fix

My son loves this game but right now he can’t play needs bug fixing. every time he loads on the game and selects any level it cuts off. Wouldn’t mind so much but this was not free I bought this when it came out and now he can’t even play it bit of a waste of money.

Doesn’t even work

Literally doesn’t work. Paid £5 for this game but it only loads to the title screen. As soon as I click on ‘play’ I get booted out of the App. Same happened whether I try to play it on my phone or my iPad.
Lego is going to seriously damage it’s brand if it thinks it can keep on rinsing loyal customers, largely kids, with trash like this.

Ok game

I have loved all the Lego games and thought I would download this. I have got so far but cannot progress past Chen’s Palace. The fire is supposed to bring down the chandelier but it doesn’t. No matter at what angle I aim from I cannot knock it down. Help!!!!

Excellent until the bugs..

Superb game overall but beware, it does have bugs. Most are minor but we got to the ice slide and now cannot progress. It got caught in a loop so the cutscene just before hangs, in silence then eventually goes to a loop where one of the characters continually falls and dies. Restarting the whole level does not help. Just don't fall down any chasms on this level and you may be ok.. Like I say great game otherwise!
