In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.

It is a fun game to play and is worth buying, but I am getting bored from just the same thing happening over and over. Playing the game over and over and dying or winning. What I would like is for the creator to add some challenges into it in order to get different avatars, speeches or packs to play with. If this happens I will be happy and will play this game a lot more than I already do.

Even though I enjoy the game, I may get bored long term. The biggest flaw with the game is what do I get for a win? I get Nothing: No unlock feature. No coins. No special avatars. I do not even know my stats eg how many games I have won or my win percentage. To improve add some or all of the features I have mentioned.

After playing the physical game at Christmas we decided to have some fun online with the family now we are all back home.
When playing against strangers there seems to be an issue with the cards positioning.
For example if I where to put an exploding kitten on the top, the next player would in theory pick that up.
Instead they manage to pick up a card and not get the exploding kitten, doing so without any kind of cards being laid down.
Another example is see the future, I have moments ago been in a game where I have looked at the top three cards, the second being a exploding kitten, the second player picks up a card and it shockingly isn’t a kitten.
If the bugs where fixed this would be a 5 star game!

This is a fantastic game honestly.. so refreshing and is fun :) the ONLY downside is that you dont know your stats.. stats are incredibly important in todays time .. or atleast to have a count of how much you won and lost .. basics

The game is brilliant. It’s simple and yet complex. The only issues I have is the hosting is terrible. Took me 6 goes before I could finally complete an online game without being booted out. Also the offline without internet mode doesn’t work. Won’t let anyone connect to my game. A friends list would be nice to avoid the quitters who don’t like losing.

I’ve had exploding kittens for almost 2 years on my iPhone and thoroughly enjoyed it until recently. The game cannot find enough players for the upgradable games which was never an issue up until about a month ago (Oct 2018). Not a happy kitty

It’s a good game obviously but it’s very different , no nope cards , loads of new cards , no rewards or levels up or status or anything at all , gets pretty boring after a while and hoping in an update you get a reward if you win, should of tried to stick to the original 😭🙈

Its a fun game in all, I have the board game and I love some of their other games but my best friend and I were playing around and we saw somebody named U R HOMOS, as we’re both LGBTQ+ we found this offensive and were trying to change our names to WE R HOMOS yet that was censored?
I also think a messaging system could be put in place to talk and make friends with your opponents even during games.

I was excited, hoping this was a translation of the card game and thus would have the different card game options available. Instead there is the core deck and you can buy some extra cards (where are the original cards/nsfw cards?)
I then wanted to do pass and play with a friend as is possible in all my other app games but here that person needs to also buy the game and internet is required making it less useful to us.
Please add a pass and play option at least for 2 players...

The gameplay is great and all but it is not worth £1.99. I had already paid £30 for the card version of this game recently and I thought that was a bit much too. I’m also annoyed that the code in the pack isn’t redeemable any more which I’m quite annoyed about because I don’t want to spend any more money buying avatar packs and decks. It would be better if this game was made free, then the people who bought the game either got a refund or a deck in the game that’s worth £1.99. The people who have already bought all packs and decks could receive a bonus avatar. Overall I like the gameplay but the app as a whole requires some further development and a price rethink.

This is a fantastic game I love playing on the app, after I bought the physical party pack version I had to buy the app so I can practice on my own (haha). It’s a little unfair that you pay £1.99 for the app then have to pay the same price for each deck as an in-app purchase, and the code inside the physical party pack doesn’t even unlock the party pack in the app which is unfair I guess. Would love for there to be a points system with levels or where you can collect points to buy more cards or unlock other stuff. Maybe there would then be more motivation to keep playing? Overall a fab game but the app is just lacking that little something extra if you know what I mean..

I have no complaints after a solid few hours.
I came in new playing AI and after a few dipped into Online.
All I can think to improve is Online game stats. Win, lose, streak maybe, most cats found in one game, how many times finished in each position?
Yeh just stats of some kind.

This is a pretty good app with one of the better online components out there. But I really don’t understand a social board game adaptation without pass and play mode. Having these games on a iPad is amazing for travel but completely useless when you need multiple devices

A few bugs in the latest build:
1) Not always possible to take a card after a real shuffle. Expects a card to be played.
2) Someones cards in hand get stuck and hover permanently and cannot be used. This just happened to be twice in a row.
Both issues experienced on the last extension.
But it's a fun game otherwise!
Please add leaderboards!

The core gameplay is incredibly fun, especially with friends in the same room as you. The multiple decks add some new cards and alter the gameplay to an extent, but more decks would be much appreciated.
This game is however lacking in an incentive to keep playing and doing well in online games. A level system or in-game currency system that would allow you to unlock exclusive customisable items that can't be purchased with real money. This would add more replay value as there would be an overall goal to reach. Even a win/ loss counter would be great.
Overall, a very fun game, but needs more customisable items or a way to show others that you're an experienced player.

I didn’t think I’d like the mobile app after loving the original card game so much but this is fab. The ability to play online as well as the new single player mode is just great. Dev request - Can you put a mute sound button in-game? I love the sounds but when you’re in an online game with music playing, you don’t really want to leave the game just to disable the sounds. Thanks!
