Had balance of over £4,600. Company changed terms of conditions so thousands of people would lose there accounts and money so they could steal our shares. Look at reviews on trust pilot. They have had to turn comments off across social media because of their deception. Celebrities that once endorsed them no longer do. Do not be scammed by this company!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Signed up right at the start and gained a lot of “cashback” or so I thought! Then the scam kicked in where all returns were frozen for over a year! Go to login now that they are on the stock exchange and advised my account has been deactivated! Please beware this is a scam!

I don’t usually review but this company really upset me. I signed up earned shares, waited and waited for this to be accessible to withdraw, in that time the company updated t&c’s without notifying users so after a short period of inactivity they remove your account and shares. Disgusting.

Not what they claimed to be
We shop made it sound that once your shares would hit the 1year mark, you’d be able to withdraw, not as a share certificate but as cash. I wasn’t the only one to believe this. Influencers were using it and now they’ve all gone quiet, I think it’s a great app, if it had been transparent from the beginning on how the shares were able to be withdrawn. I wouldn’t recommend, I think it’s a waste of time, there are way better alternatives out there.

Still waiting over a year down the line.
Feels to me as though WeShop have earned commission based on all my purchases and each time it comes to dividends in anyway, there’s a reason it’s on hold. Honestly wish I’d used another App like Quidco for instance. I would have been paid out instantly. I don’t believe I will ever see a return on any of my spending. Please correct me if I’m wrong. It would be welcomed.

If you want to waste your time and money use WeShop, you’ll earn some shares and after one year of holding you’ll see that all this shares are useless because they are not publicly listed and are not providing any information about a planned stock market listing, your shares currently have no value, and the company appears to be a typical scam.

Weshop started as an amazing concept but it was a bitter pill to swallow indeed. Firstly, as time has discovered there is no free or even a % off. Because to have a discount that discount has to be realised at some point and sadly it isn’t with Weshop. Secondly the share are utterly worthless until an IPO is launched, which has proven to be nothing other than wishful thinking with the delays upon delays. Thirdly only use Weshop because you can, because there are simply better and more, in my opinion, honest apps out there.

I strongly advise against using WeShop. My experience with this platform has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
The biggest issue is that the shares they promise are essentially worthless. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to withdraw or cash out any of my shares. The platform lacks transparency and fails to provide any legitimate support for resolving these issues.
Customer service is almost non-existent, and when you do manage to get a response, it’s vague and unhelpful. It feels like they are just giving you the runaround to keep you on the platform while your money and shares remain inaccessible.
In summary, WeShop appears to be a scam. Avoid investing your time and money here, as you’re likely to end up with nothing but frustration.

i thought this app was amazing at first and got a couple of hundred pounds in shares racked up. i definitely don’t think it’s amazing now that i’ve tried to withdraw as they don’t let anyone withdraw shares until they’re an ipo? which has been postponed already! surely that should have been something to be done before opening the business though? guess not, don’t bother with this app! apparently they have taken the shares earned and ‘invested it into the business’ sounds like a huge scam to me!

I first signed up over a year ago through a referral from a friend.
The promise was that you would receive cash back on your purchases you made via the app after 12 months. Around 10 months later when people started wanting to cash out, they changed the rules and turned the cash back amounts into “shares” which they’ve yet to let anyone “sell” in order to withdraw money.

Love Weshop!
I have loved using this app and find it very addictive! I love watching my money grow for free for purchases I was doing anyway! I love that it’s now easier to withdraw my money and now just can’t wait for even more retailers to join. The only downside I’ve had is purchases not appearing and they take a long while to appear and I’m still waiting on them now, but the team are always so prompt with their replies and I’m confident things will be sorted! :)

This was a great app when I joined, I really enjoyed purchasing and like the idea of building not easily accessible savings as you can only withdraw after 12 months, however apparently there was a ‘shareholder’ feedback opportunity which I was not a part of and now all of a sudden you are unable to withdraw your shares until the company goes public which might never happen. I feel like I have been scammed and wasted all my time when I could have been using other cash back websites that actually pay out…

12 months to withdraw & £500 minimum withdrawal
Bit annoyed this company has made me wait 1 full year for my shared to be set to ‘available’ after attempting to withdraw, I get a notification that I need a minimum £500 withdrawal limit. So I technically need to wait 2 years (before the rest of my transactions become available). In my opinion my bank (Virgin) offer 10% cashback and I get it back the end of the month. Waiting almost 2 years for cashback imo isn’t great. You need to advertise your services better so people are aware of this upfront. What about the low spend users who don’t have £500 of shares in their account, will they simply be unable to withdraw at all?

This app provides an absolutely amazing opportunity for the community (online shoppers) to earn back when making their everyday purchases online.

Can’t open account
I have been trying to open an account for ages, but despite having referral name codes I can never get past inputting date of birth as the next screen is always blank. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the appt multiple times. I tried doing it through Apple & Google logins instead, and I’ve tried different peoples referral codes. Nothing is working. So I’m at a loss as to what else to try now and don’t know if others are having the same issues.

I was sceptical about downloading this app but I thought I will give it a go as it was Christmas and I tend to do the majority of my Xmas shopping online. I bought some items via H&M and then next day I checked and I seen my shares. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I use this app every time I need to buy something. I’ve got my husband, sister and mum to all download the app. The app is a no brainier and you are missing out if you’ve not downloaded it. Make money while you spend!!!!!

Absolutely love that I have completely changed the way I shop. Times are tough and I am literally making money as I sleep using weShop. There are so many retailers jumping on board, and a number of ways to make money whilst doing the shopping I was going to be doing anyway. So I’m not losing anything but the possibilities are insane!

Great company not just the app
The App is the output of an amazing idea that benefits everyone.
App itself is easy to use and once you get used to using it consistently for your everyday shopping, it really does add up. I made a conscious effort to use it for a week and I went from just over £150 in holdings to triple that!! All from buying things I genuinely needed.
I’d love to see a section, within the shopping tab that lists the ‘new arrivals’, just like we have for the ‘Sports’ or ‘Travel’ or ‘Automative’ etc retailer lists.
It’s very refreshing to be part of something that truly benefits both consumer and retailer.

When I first read about this app , I thought what is the catch .
My husband said ( don’t download it , it’s a scam .
I’m quite gullible so I got my dayghter’s boss who works for them to talk him through it .
He was convinced , couldn’t be easier just wait until you need something and remember to go through the WESHOP app to loads of on line retailers , You should shop like you would do normally with your debit card , and your shop should come up on your WEShop dash board

made a purchase using weshop on the 28th of july and everything was fine - they matched the amount i spent as a ‘wegift’ as they call it yet now, months later, they’ve taken back their ‘wegift’ because apparently the BUNCH OF FLOWERS i ordered were returned on the 22nd of september when i know they weren’t and would’ve been dead by now if they had been returned. starting to look like a bit of a scam app to me

I am thoroughly enjoying using the WeShop app. I love how it aggregates products sold by so many retailers and introduces me to items that I never would have found before from my typical online shopping routine. It also feels great to earn shares in WeShop from my purchases, which I’ve found appear in my account within 24 hours. The UI is great and easy to navigate, and I would highly recommend the app to anyone interested in finding unique products who is also interested in owning a part of the business that benefits from their spending.

App had me "folliwing" numerous people I did NOT FOLLOW! How is this allowed? Someone messing with my account? Have updated it but took 2 attempts to clear it! Now the app has "timed me out" & won't let see my account at all.
Security is a concern here! Do not want to wait so long for "shares" to be paid.
What if the company goes out of business? Think this not for me! They need to sort it. Layout is messy & not particularly user friendly.

Brilliantly simple
Awesome so simple and what a brilliant idea. Most of what I but anyway is recommended by friends so why wouldn’t I make money / get shares whilst buying the things I was going to buy anyway.

Loving the new design of my dashboard - I can see my share value is changing as I make more purchases. I genuinely couldn’t be happier, just wish there were more retailers!!

My store is the best
Been using WeShop on my laptop a lot, so good to be able to use it on the go using the App, can even take pictures to upload straight to a product, awesome! Already made £282 and I'm only just getting started 👌👌👌
