Description

Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is a wacky simulation game where you manage your very own weapon shop and expand its business across an incredible potato world.
Use your potato smiths to forge weapons and sell them to questing heroes. You will meet more than 70 potato heroes, forge more than 200 weapons, expand your business into 20 wacky areas, manage 30 zany potato smiths, discover 10 legendary pop culture heroes . . . and even adopt a potato dog!
Inspired by games such as Game Dev Story, Weapon Shop De Omasse and Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale, Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is designed to provide an exciting new gameplay experience to fans of this game genre.
The game score is composed by the legendary Kimura Masahiko​, who worked on the original score for the Genso Suikoden Series and the Castlevania Series.

Does not load on ipad mini1

Shows initial developers logo then crashes instantly. Looked good but unfortunately i cant even try it. Was considering purchasing the new spy game but definately not unless this crash is fixed. Developer response please or i will have to ask for a refund

Hit a wall.

Love the game, hasn’t had any crashes as others have mentioned but will not unlock the root beer world. I have fully competed the first two world, maxed all heroes and have enough (5) tickets to proceed but it won’t let me ☹️😣

Fantastic game and developers.

First of all if you enjoy any form of simulation game then this is the game for you. It’s funny, entertaining and moderately challenging when it comes to management.
A tip if you are going to purchase the newest release for IOS, make sure you purchase the game through the bundle it saves you some money. I look forward to the future in regards to new releases. I have followed this game for a while and bought both of them twice. Well worth it.
In regards to the next release.
I sure will!!!! A holy potatoes game about Spy’s. I shall eagerly wait for its release.

Fun Game

Overall an enjoyable game if you enjoy management style games.
The main negative point, some of the images and text have really poor resolutions which can be distracting. iPhone 7+

Could b 5 star!!!!!

Top game but let down because of the text is almost impossible to read and I have a 8 Plus,plz plz make larger,and I’ll give a 5 star .

Bug fixed now it's 5 stars

What an excellent game. There was a bad bug but the development team reached out and fixed it.
Now I can happily say this game is tremendous. It is really fun with great character design.
It can be a little repetitive at times but I am still enjoying it thoroughly.
If you are a fan of workplace sims but hate in app purchases I cannot recommend this highly enough.
One piece of constructive criticism though, it would be good when a special request comes in to be able to check your inventory so you can see if you can actually meet the request. Aside from that all good and thanks to Ivan in the dev team for reaching out.

Crashes @ awards

Really enjoying the game but crashes at the awards ceremony so unfortunately isn't worth paying for until this is fixed.

Got potential

Unfortunately the game has come to a full stop when I had to view the awards part of the game every time I load the game it crashes on that save. At this moment I cannot play the game any further until this issue is resolved, which leaves me disappointed and frustrated. I hope they fix these bugs ASAP or other gamers will not touch the game at all.

Lovely time management game; some current issues

On my first run, I was pretty swiftly hooked. This is a lovely, characterful resource / time management game with plenty of Potatoes; I was having to think about my action, and was mostly rubbing pretty close to the financial line.
Then it crashed. Repeatedly. No way I could progress in the second world, so I started again.
Gotta say, this time round I'd cracked it. There certainly isn't much replay value in the first world, though it's pretty easy to game / gouge for ridiculous early profits (some mechanisms don't kick in until later in stage one, opening the door to $$$).
Fine. Get to world 2 and... same crash, same place, again.
The 2* reflects the current unplayability, though it really does have some lovely potential underneath. Devs have been responsive about one issue on forums (the game hard closes every time you switch away / switch screen). I'm not sure about this crash, though, which is currently rendering it unplayable on a 6+ w/ latest iOS updates.
