This app has provided invaluable support to me in practice. Use it most days and gained some insight in many clinical areas. I am however, very disappointed that after paying £11.99 for a years subscription and having family purchase sharing set up with my wife, she is unable to share access and is being asked for another subscription fee.

Having recently left the ambulance service after 17 years as a Specialist Paramedic, and moving into Primary Care, The Geeky Medics App helps me immeasurably, providing a concise, ‘at-a-glance’ reference to help me bolster the small gaps in my knowledge... extended blood tests, certain physical examinations I wouldn’t have carried out on the road, but now are expected in my Primary Care role. Thank you for cutting through the miasma of sometimes conflicting information out there.

My only question is could you make it accessible to use on other devices if you have already purchased the complete app, for example I downloaded it on my iPhone, but can’t access it on my Huawei tablet!?!? Other than that it’s a great study tool 😁

I’ve found the interpretion sections in the app really useful on ICU, helped me learn to be proactive and ready with treatment or ideas when the docs arrive.
This is great for nurses too, excellent learning for any area. I’ve shared it with mates. At the end of the day it’s the pts who’ll benefit.
LFT section was ace, I’ve struggled with that for ages. Not straightforward at all, but you’ve made it clear.
Well done. Good app. Annual fee, I’d rather not, but it won’t break the bank and a good app is a good app..

I understand why you pay (app development etc.) however, the information is available on the website and youtube for free. It would be nice if it was a one off payment rather than annual (its still very reasonably priced don't get me wrong).
Theres a little too much info for me but is easy to filter out on reading through.

The app is fantastic, I use it on my work phone. Very useful to healthcare professionals. However, in an age of such prevalent inpatient infections, might it be prudent to open up hand-washing as a part of the free trial? Even if one HCP learnt something that ‘stuck’ when it comes to proper basic hygiene procedures, that would be a win right?

This app has been a godsend for studying OSCEs. It is regularly updated with new things and is simple to follow.
One thing I would note is that it has not yet been updated to work full screen on an iPhone X so hopefully that happens soon.

I'm a nurse practitioner and I find this an extremely useful revision tool and having the content available offline is the best thing about it. A handy easily accessible resource to access in clinic.
Its great to see more history taking sections be added to it.
I would highly recommend to anyone starting out in an urgent care/walk-in centre!

Geeky Medics is a great learning tool, so I unlocked all the sections by purchasing the in-app purchase, only to find that there is no sound on the video. I like the feature that you can set a timer and test/practice; but where's the sound?!

Content wise, this is the best osce resource there is, amazing videos, with markschemes and timer.
The only critisisms id make are that it is unfortunately not optimised for an ipad it just scales up the screen from an iphone, therefore you cannot use the app in landscape mode. Also it would be amazing if the signs had full explanations ie explain why we are doing each step in the examination and exactly what signs are pathological.
Otherwise a great app, and i think geeky medics are amazing
