Great app, worryingly slow!
I love this app for recording all the whiskies I’ve tried and bought over the years. Nothing like it. Slightly concerned about how slow the app is becoming though. It either needs updating or I’ll have to use something else as I do fear it will not run properly or shut down and I’ll lose everything!! Please, please, please give us a slicker update. Sláinte!

In desperate need of an update.
This is probably the most suitable whisky app for what I use it for personally, the tasting note wheel is fantastic, and the idea of pooling together community notes into a viewable display on each whisky is brilliant. Yet, as time goes on and the lack of updates take their toll, it’s becoming increasingly frustrating and difficult to use. Bugs everywhere, slow, and not even formatted to the newer generation of larger screen iPhones (which are years old at this point!). The Whizzky iPhone app is now getting to the point of becoming unusable. Please give this app a much needed update!

Fatal Flaw
Lots of features and the journal is well designed for rating your drams. Once again we have an app with a five star rating system, which is too restrictive for distinguishing between the myriad of whiskies out there, but at least you can give half-star marks to essentially make it an out of ten rating system.
However, there is a one mammoth flaw that renders this app completely pointless: YOU CAN’T MANUALLY ADD NEW WHISKIES!
I’m sorry, I don’t care how big your database claims to be, if I’m at a whisky festival and I cant add tasting notes because the whisky I’m drinking isn’t recognised, and I can’t create an entry myself to help expand that database, your app is completely useless!
I switched back over to the Whisky Journal App and added over thirty new whiskies to their database that day at the festival. Whizzky will soon be deleted from my phone. Yet another whisky app that looks good on the surface, but is ruined by idiotic decisions on the developer’s side. It’s like the companies that make these apps have no idea about the way the whiskey industry works and how fans actually experience their drams.

Great possibilities.
Why can’t we add bottle size to the selection? It is ridiculous that it is so good at other things but quite useless in recording what I actually have in my collection!

Brilliant app
Great app for lovers of whisky and whiskey. Very informative and a great place to look before spending your hard earned cash on a bottle you haven’t tried before. Also like the my collection feature

Slick and Easy to Use
Absolutely brilliant app. I use it for logging the whisky I have in my collection, as well as for reviewing and adding my own tasting notes. Also I can now easily check which whiskys I’ve tried before when I’m at whisky shows which saves me re-tasting forgettable drams and leaves me open for trying all the other ones available. Completely changed the way I drink whisky.

The app asks you to signup first thing, and it's a bit pointless to scan whisky bottles as you wouldn't be able to in a bar, better apps out there

Perfect for the forgetful or collector
I've been looking for a whisky app that not only documents which whiskies I've tried, but also allows me to catalogue the whiskies I currently have hidden in my cupboards. Having failed up until this point, and even considered writing an app myself, but thankfully Whizzky is exactly what I've been looking for.
I've a varied collection for around the world and was very surprised to see everything I searched for in my collection was included in the database. I've tried around 3 different apps trying to find one that copes with the oddities and this is the best so far.
Good easy interface, nice social aspect of seeing others reviews and just a handy app for those times you're stuck in duty free trying to remember whether you've tried a dram or have already bought a bottle and hidden it too well. 🥃

Whizzky app
I have recently developed a keen appreciation for tasting and enjoying whiskeys from all over and have used a couple of apps to help me on my journey. This app is no doubt the best and it's free! It's easy to use when finding new whiskeys and more. My favourite feature is the live feed of useful information wether it be about distilleries or a vintage bottling or even a blog from a blender. Brilliant app!
Great app and super easy to use. Excellent and quick way to get an idea what a whisky will be like before having to dive into your pockets. It's also a great way to keep track of what you've had, what you got and more importantly what you love!
