Frustrated by the pathetic dummies ruling the country? Waiting for a real leader to take charge? Think you could do a better job?
Plan your own Machiavellian rise from political nobody to Head of State. Build your ideology picking policies as you see fit, not forgetting to include plenty of crowd pleasers. As your support grows, make sure to cozy up to all the right people: the Police, the Church and anyone else with power. After all, once you take power, you don't want anyone taking it back!
Make sure you are prepared for random events that could knock you off course with a provocative comeback always at the ready. Not bad but fix the difficulty.
The game is quite fun. Until you reach the second candidate the hooded cats. It is literally impossible to get past them. My advice don’t get this game unless you like being frustrated by lack of progression.

The game has a great concept that is executed really well, however it feels like all the work that is done just to win the campaign gets rewarded with a win screen and that is it. If the game was made longer, for example invading other continents, starting wars, forming alliances, this would probably be one the best games on the App Store. Make it happen pls.

This is actually quite a fun game, I've only played about an hour but I'm well into it. I would rate 3.5/4 stars, I think I've only deducted points because the tutorial isn't very explanatory. It near enough throws you in the deep end. I enjoy it though

Okay, not great, no replay value.
I enjoyed the game for the short time I played it, but the mechanics led me to feel impotent as a player as it was difficult to understand what led to protests, increased opposition, etc. Decisions were difficult because the lengths of bars for approval, influence, and control seemed arbitrary. I'd like to see the game make its underlying mechanics more clear, perhaps through an 'expert mode'?

Pity the app's map didn't match my political ambition
Completed it in under an hour. Wanted more maps to take over and conquer in different kinds of social environments but sadly no such thing. Also it's too easy to win, just be a liberal to gain support.

Good concept - low replayability
I enjoyed the concept of the game and it has been executed well. Annoyingly, you need to trigger a revolution quite early on in order to stand any chance of winning because protests mount up the longer you're in power. This means you don't really get chance to implement the later policies, unless you cede victory.
As per the other comments, once you've played through a few times, there's nothing that will make you want to play it again.

Good game, but even more potential
Really enjoyed all the aspects to this game, however I was disappointed that it ended so quickly. There is so much potential to this game and surely it shouldn't just end when you gain power. Just like in v for vendetta, getting into power is the easy part...

I love the game concept, of course more development is on the way. I would recommend to decrease protests the less power you have, like IRL. It gets very annoying when you don't have any seats and still get bombarded by protests

The first time through it's good, I won't deny that, but it gets very repetitive very quickly and the sound effects kill it even quicker; my recommendation, buy a chocolate bar, it tastes good and you can taste it for longer than five minutes.

The whole idea of this game is fantastic. It is very interactive and so immersing, you feel as if you really are a politician. I like how the manifesto of your political party is related to the choices you make in the game. (Your party can be Capitalist, socialist or you can even create an Oligarchy). Well done to the developers, I say!

Unlike the low star reviewers I've found that i can spend hours playing.
Some people will stop playing after 1 win but that's not what you should do
Theres 3 difficulties and a load of achievements to try and get, even after maybe 6 hours i still haven't completed all of the easy achievements.

Should have been amazing...
...poor game mechanics and tap style bubble popping to set policy but the algorithm is too random - and control is always negative. Also - protest bubbles destroy your support as you gain momentum which is really frustrating.

Fun but limited
Really neat, fun little game. Great humour and a nice premise. That said the core gameplay is lacking and very short. It feels like you just tap on the influence squares and unlock the policies that the different districts want, then hit revolution when the bar fills. I'm sure there is more strategy to it than this, but the game doesn't feel deep enough to really encourage much experimentation. Worth the price for half an hour or so of fun.

While I enjoy the fun it pokes at politics, this game has very little to offer. Funny text and 'news announcements' in response to your choices are cute, until you realise it's always the same announcements and the same choices. Most of the game is spent staring at a map and poking bubbles - more interaction is desperately needed

Finished in 20~ minutes. The only replay value is on 2 higher difficulty levels. After the election the game should continue, so you can continue as leader, with different policies to keep the people happy until the next election to stay in power.

The developer has a good sense of humour, and there is potential, but there just isn't much of a game here. For 1.49 it's reasonable, but you mostly just click pop ups and there seems to be little choice to the game.
