Needs more to unlock without buying

This is a really good game but it needs more for you to use without buying!

When I saw this game on the App Store I thought that it would have animations involved like when the doctor is at his console he could have an animation which made him pull a lever or something like that.

Also I found that most of the doctors looks around the face especially looks very odd as in the 11th doctors face it’s a real disappointment for fans of him also I don’t know if I was the first one to actually figure this out but the 9th doctor looks like the only one who is actually a human.

One of the best DW apps

This comic creator was one of the most amazing things that helped with my creativity from when it first came out I made my own comic stories and I still plan to do so because it is still a good app and I can’t wait to use it more again obviously still has some slight glitches but apart from that it’s completely fine and worth it :)

This game is so fun! (But I have a request/issue

I love this game so much. It’s amazing how much you can do with the (nearly) endless selection of different characters/props/backgrounds/sound affects! I’m making a giant doctor who story right now!

My only request is that since it has been the 60th anniversary of Doctor who, more stuff is added. E.g. Beep the Meep, The Toymaker, Bill Potts Yaz Ryan Graham Dan and Ruby Sunday, The War 8th 14th and 15th doctors and their sonics, regeneration/bigeneration props and sound affects, More monster parts, Tardis interiors for every doctor, UNIT STUFF!, The Vlinx (:, etc etc…

All I’m saying is that this app feels neglected. It needs more updates, just because it’s free game on the App Store that less Whovians play, still let that mini community of Whovians have some fun. Okay (: .

Great but…

First things first, it’s a really cool app. There’s a ton of ideas that you can do. It’s great it has the first thirteen incarnations etc. But it seriously could do with an update. Perhaps include the War Doctor, 14, 15, Fugitive Doctor. Also the other incarnations of the Master, console rooms, new planets, scenery and the like.

App started to crash. Reinstalled, but now crashes every time I try to connect to the store to restore purchases. Dad tried emailing the developers several times, but no answer. My pocket money wasted on buying extra content for this.

Amazing just one problem

I love your app so so so much it’s just you’ve not got enough companions for the first doctor alone you don’t have Ian Barbra Vikki Steven Dodo Ben and Polly. For some of the doctors don’t even have any companions eg Jon Pertwee. So please please please add some more companions and other stuff eg the war doctor plus just some other stuff. But if you are reading this review It is generally a great app. You could at least add like a companion creator so I don’t need to use vampires.

‘Fantastic’

I love making comics on this and it didn’t cost much for everything I need, my only issue is certain characters who I would really like to use are missing e.g. jack harkness, all of 13s companions, Mickey, the war doctor, most of the classic companions and some monsters. I would really appreciate adding more packs to buy with the missing fan favourites. Brilliant game tho

It is very fun and unique but there is some problems

This game is very good and fun except you need to pay and they are missing a big character from that being doctor river song and they’re are only a limited amount of packs in the game and they should i add more. To unlock most of the things you have to spend real life money or you will only a few items. I would recommend to buy some packs they do have excellent discounts but overall they could make it better.

This app is an essential for doctor who fans at the age of 8-10. Been wondering for a bit if any new content will be added for the flux season. Also, something that REALLY annoys me is the limited pages amount. It's always set at 10, meaning you can't make proper comics like 'four doctors' or anything like that. Please make it so infinite pages can be used in one comic

Perfect!

Probably a really simple app and lots to do! You can create comics, read comics, create crazy and wacky combinations of monsters and buy packs of doctors!

The only downside is the tardis’. It would be an even more amazing game if there was more variations of interiors for the tardis, but apart from that- GET THE GAME!

AMAZING!

This is so fun! I mean, before I purchased the bundles it was kinda hard. Too really do much. Now I have everything in the game! There is a sad thing though because I am doing comics in order of the new doctors, starting with ninth ending with thirteenth but there is a problem! You see, the 13th doctors companions, Yaz, Ryan and Graham, are not in, the silents aren’t in either and there is only the twelfth doctors TARDIS interior (you know you’re doctor who fan when you write TARDIS in caps) other than all that it is amazing and I recommend buying it if you’re willing to spend five pounds. Great.

Needs another update

Ok this is an update since my last review. The game used to be really fun when I was younger but as I have got older I have moved on from this game because this game does not get updated anymore there was only a few extra packs and comics in last update. This game was last updated about 3 or 2 years ago it needs an update. I suggest all Doctors friends, all master regenerations, all tardis interiors, more monsters, more poses, more backgrounds and a lot more sounds and also some music for comics.

If this game does not get an update soon I will delete this game

I love this app and it truly does keep me going for hours however whenever I go on now it seems to be zoomed out therefore preventing me from clicking on the creator mode or any others. I do hope that this glitch is fixed soon so I can get back to creating more comics!

Good game

I love this game. I’m an avid doctor who fan and this game is perfect for me. It could be improved by adding the 10th doctors master and adding civilians as the daleks and stuff need something to kill. Even though it’s not perfect I still enjoy this game. I do have the in game purchases but even without them the game is still good. I 100% recommend this to all doctor who fans.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

...best...app...ever...

An amazing app with amazingly low prices (even free content - which there should be more of), an awesome community and developers and has kept me thoroughly entertained for hours!

My only issues are that when you open a menu (e.g. sounds, characters, my monsters, backgrounds etc.) there is a short animation which really is unnecessary and wastes precious time.

Another issue is the keyboard when typing bubbles or comic titles. It is stupid because it is made in a way where you need to wait half a second before typing and it makes it so easy to miss - type! What I would ask is to connect it to the phone/tablet’s keyboard where there is auto - correct and immediate typing.

I would’ve thought that you’d have a new planet background or new packs with the War Doctor and others. More backgrounds and new content.

EDIT: Since the update it added the TLV and 13th Doctor era characters (no companions though!). It added more planets and additions to the old ones along with new props etc. But still, the most recent update was 9 months ago, it feels droughted.

Overall though this is an absolutely amazing app and you’ve done an awesome job!

The app itself is quite good, but the amount of in-app purchases you need to make a decent comic is astounding. EA has made games that demand less! This needs to be improved, and fast, or the app’s target audiences may not enjoy it for long.

More designs of characters (e.g all incarnations of master or cyber man.) the one I agree with the most is the regeneration poses so it has its downfalls but who doesn’t? Please add the time lord victorious costumes, new costumes, and 5th Doctor with a hat! Thanks!

Doctor Who Comic Creator

Brilliant app, very fun and a wonderful app for any Doctor Who fan. The only thing I would say is every time you begin creating a comic, it changes the new logo (which appears on the cover at first) back to the old logo from the 12th Doctor’s era which is quite annoying so I would appreciate it if the developers could fix this. Another thing is it would be nice if there were a few more backgrounds and props although it is wonderful as it is! I would highly recommend this to all Doctor Who fans as it is a very fun app!

This App Is Great...

I really like this app. You can create an awesome Doctor Who comic with endless possibilities for story ideas. There are loads of characters and backgrounds and monsters - speaking of monsters, you can even create your own! But I think one massive improvement for the app would to have every TARDIS interior for each Doctor. I love this app, but it’s missing that one thing. It looks weird otherwise, having the First Doctor in the Twelfth Doctor’s TARDIS.

Overall Thoughts: Great App...

But please add an update with the all of the other TARDIS interiors. It would make it ten times better. You could make it so when you click on the TARDIS background it opens up a selection of different backgrounds that you can choose from. Like when clicking on a character it has all of their stances and actions.

A great game but needs a few more things

I love the game the prices for the add ons are affordable and as a whovian it’s kept me entertained for hours making the you hear about in the show in a comic format but there are more than a few things you need to add until it’s a perfect game

. You should do an update called the creative update or something like that were your able to make your own custom doctor with separate parts like hats jackets scarfs pants etc*and custom sonics,companions and even tardis interiors and exteriors if possible

. More on the tardis you should have a whole update to do with the ship first you should be able to have a sound for the tardis dematerilsing an rematerilsing and have all the the tardis interiors/exteriors even the paradox machine,rani’s tardis and the masters column

.have the war doctor and his tardis and a variotion of Paul McGaunn’s Doctor allong with every sonic featured on the show

. There should be much more poses including a regenerating one and each one has to be unique to every doctor and there should be a version of every doctor after regenerated

. You should be able to have unlimited pages

Soo, I think this is really fun but they are some stuff that I hate so to start in the type box so if you make a mistake you have to delete everything after that last night instead of just being able to delete that pacific word without deleting everything I said after to and you have to pay for everything instead of having a way to earn packs or just specific characters images so you have to pay or you’re not getting it any time soon which is very annoying and there’s barely any background/only the 12 doctor consul room eventually I can’t be in the same place every time and you can’t do much just a black background Plus you can’t really use other doctors in the tardis if there is only the 12th doctors control room

Good but..

Just downloaded this app but, (unless I’m missing something) it needs a feature where you can create your own custom characters as well as monsters. It would be 5 stars if I could put myself in the comics as well!

the game is a brilliant way to write your own comics and ideas and while there is already so much you can do, there is even more to be desired!!!

such as...

updating the titles (it’s rather strange to have the 13th doctor logo with 12’s theme lol)

the War Doctor, the Ruth Doctor as well as paul

McGanns Doctor design in Night of the Doctor

more companions

character poses and emotions spread about equally (eg. ten having almost no angry or sad expressions)

different aliens

every TARDIS interior/exterior

every Master

every cyberman design

every sonic screwdriver (also including River Songs, Paul McGann’s big finish screwdriver, the sonic laser and sonic pen, maybe even the sonic cane OR EVEN THE WAR MASTERS SONIC LASER!!!)

a more fleshed out character creator (create companions, or even Doctors!!!)

a regeneration pose and effect

more sound effects (like the TARDIS de/rematerialising)

and finally...

fish fingers and custard lol

overall great game 7/10 just lacking the last BIG step to being the perfect game

It is brilliant; fantastic and amazing... however...

This game is great and has kept me going for hours, however, there are downsides. As much as I love this game, the tiny amount of stuff you can use without buying an in-app purchase is very annoying. Although, the good thing is, those in-app purchases are very cheap!😺 All seven purchases have a price of £0.99 (£1.00) apart from one you can only access if you have not bought anything else- this purchase gives you everything for only £3.99 (£4.00)! Also, the thirteenth doctor is free! 👌🏼 But a sad thing is... there is only one TARDIS interior (12th’s)! But hey, apart from all of this bad stuff this game includes loads of monsters, companions, and doctors! I recommend getting this game and I hope you can persuade someone to let you buy the all pack bundle!

I love this app

Needs more updates to stay relevant.

My only issue with this absolute gem, is that it doesn’t get updated anymore. There is a variety of things that could be done with it, war and thirteen, expanding Silurians outside of monster creator, etc...

Really good game

I really like it, the packs are cheap and you can do a lot of things but you don’t add anything anymore which is a bummer as you can’t make it recent with the new series’

Amazing but...

I have recently started watching doctor who and I love that you can make your own doctor who adventures but you need packs for everything and the typing is really annoying but you can still make stuff and I like that you can make your own monsters so it’s not a bad game but because of these annoying bits I only gave this 4 stars and not 5

Great! However...

I’ve had this game for a year or so and it’s really good! However, the game is VERY outdated. If they made a sequel ,or even phase two Add ons, that would be really good. Also, the war doctor does exist! The game was made in 2015, and in this time you had: the war doctor, Silurians, sea devils, macra, multiple cybermen, multiple masters, Ian, barbra, jo Grant and more that are not even referenced to the game. If they did make a sequel, I would love that; even if they made an update. So please Doctor Who. Make something new to the game.

Fantastic app for any Whovian!

I love the app so much and you can make amazing comics!! It is a bit annoying that most of the things you need cost money but anyway amazing app!!!

Just asking I hope they will update to have the 13 doctor and her fan soon!

Doctor who

I love making comics except there isn’t much things to use when your making comics but if you want more you have to pay £1.99 which I don’t like but overall it’s amazing I would recommend it to all doctor who fans and others

Enjoyable but...

Liking it so far but you're limited to scenes in the tardis or on one world unless you pay £10+ for the packs. Still managed to do something with it but it's a shame you can't share/read other people's comics. Wish there was a way to unlock another pack or two without paying (maybe after publishing/reading so many comics?) Or even just letting you choose which doctor and/or companion you start with? Right now you're stuck with 12 and Clara with 2 sprites of wasp monsters and a few for the clockwork monster. The create your own monster's a cool idea but again it doesn't give you much to work with. Managed to create a French dummy out of it but that's mainly a bunch of dales and silence heads haha
