Quite disappointed
I downloaded this to put my favourite country artist as my ringtone to find that there are no actual music artists on this anymore. At least not on the version I have installed. I’ve checked for updates; there are none. I went onto the web and found the artist I was looking for on the web version of Zedge, but I can’t download or use any of the ringtones from the web.

I don’t mind one advert to use the app but every time I scroll or look at a new wallpaper? Works out an advert every 20 0r 30 seconds~ crazy very intrusive and I’ve now uninstalled this from my iPad. The app works really well and it is so relaxing for the ai to find a wallpaper that you like 👍🏼 I cannot find any other game like this I have an app called theme pack but it has (WAY TO MANY ADS) so I suggest when you are looking for a wallpaper app that has cute wallpapers this is the app I'm currently on phone and it works so smoothly the lack of ads 🤩 is amazing just love the game so much ❤️❤️

Impossible
This is the worst wallpaper app ever. The ads are impossible to close. The cross where you close the app is up above your battery percentage and when you touch it, it does not close. Other than that most of the wallpapers are chargeable the app user interface is terrible. I had no choice but actually deleted it.

Barely any content
This used to be a great app for getting ringtones/notification sounds from things like video game ringtones/sounds or any pop culture ringtones/sounds, or pretty much anything and everything you would want as a ringtone or sound. Since going back to it, it’s completely barren; just filled with AI generated wallpapers and the most boring sound bites I’ve ever heard. All of the ringtones I used to use are completely gone! A complete fall from grace.

Ringtone issues
I personally think that this app is alright but I was looking for a certain ringtone and it just wouldn’t come up yet I checked the google website of this app and it was there.
The reason I rated it one star is because it wouldn’t let me find the certain ringtones I wanted to use for my phone.
I was searching for hazbin hotel ringtones (finale) it didn’t come up. I had faith in the app.
1 star for the ringtone bit. Absolutely disappointed in this app, used to have it on my old phone, worked perfectly now this? Yeah no, I didn’t need to update the app either.
2 stars for the wallpaper, couldn’t find any hazbin wallpaper either. On the google website, there was a lot.
Wouldn’t recommend the app to anyone.

Earn credits is broken
Love the zedge app, used it since it's early days, even pay for the premium and love the AI generator. However, the earn credits with games is completely broken and there's no point trying to use their support function because you don't hear anything back. Which I wouldn't mind waiting and keep trying but these game ones are on a limited time basis so it's kind of a problem. Either fix it or take these options off cus they don't work after the first award!

Download problems
I used the AI to create a wallpaper and used the retry button to make the AI, well, retry at making the wallpaper which was successful. But when I downloaded it, it downloaded the original wallpaper. I tried many times with different themes but had the same outcome. Please fix this

What the heck happened
This used to be so easy to use. Now with half of all mobile sales probably going to apple iphones surely you would make it easy for those especially of a certain age i.e 55yrs + who may not have the magical fingers and knowledge on how to use these things. I am totally lost and do not have garage band installed. You want me to pay for this too!

Went backwards & unwanted subscription
The app used to be so easy to use and navigate now it’s pointless and annoying. I searched for something on app and it doesn’t come up, go on the website and it comes up. I’ve waited ages and thought it would get better but no it’s still the same. I’m talking about ringtones and notifications. To top it off I have noticed £4.99 has been coming out my bank for some time now and I wasn’t even logged in via the app or have purchased anything so this will be followed up with apple but for future reference I’d just avoid this app all together. There’s others out there now that walk rings around this now. I just wish it stayed as it was. If somethings not broken, don’t try and fix it!

Ads ads & more ads just to preview! Deleting
Now you have to subscribe £4.99 a month to be ad free… fair? Well no, now to even preview … that’s right preview an image before purchasing or /ironically watching an ad or two to purchase, this soo plays an ad before you can view it to be able to choose to buy it or watch even more ads!!! I simply swipe away the app, waste of my time! You are of course not totally ad free with the £4.99 once you use your awarded (in with the price ‘zedge credits’) then you have to watch ads to continue to buy. Ruined by greed! My two daughters of 17 & 19 deleted too, said ‘they have gone too far, pushing us away’.

I’ve used this app for many years & loved it, until recently, all the fun ringtone’s and notifications seem to have been replaced by the type of stuff that’s preloaded by the phone manufacturer.

Can’t watch ads to earn credits :-(
Since this started happening a couple of days ago, the app has now essentially turned into a paid service, and I can no longer watch ads to earn credits, therefore I can’t download any wallpapers, unless I pay for credit packs. This is upsetting to me because I really liked supporting Georgking as a wallpaper artist on here, he does the best wallpapers in my opinion. Sorry for the one star rating, Zedge, but as I’ve said…the app can now only be used by spending money.

One example of a good app turning into a the worst app
I remember when this application started to gain popularity. It was a great application for wallpapers with different genres and a great filter for all of them. I have decided to reinstall the app in order to get more wallpapers. At first, I was surprised to see the support for custom icons at first. However, I have seen the fact that now you need to pay for wallpapers, or for that matter, everything on the app. There appears to be a shop for these new coins. 1 GBP for 500 coins where an icon pack would basically be the same cost or even more. It really doesn’t make any sense. And by the way, the application gives you only 10 coins for the start which is the equivalent of one wallpaper.

Vanishing credits…
Something has seriously gone wrong since I last used the app a couple of weeks ago… When I last used it I had 40 free credits available but when I opened it a few minutes ago they had disappeared! I decided to start earning more free credits by watching ads that are of no interest to me at all but after the first ad finished I clicked on collect and the expected 10 credits didn’t appear. I watched two more ads and still didn’t receive the credits I’d just earned!!! If I was ever going to start buying credits that idea has now been dropped, if my free credits can disappear and I’m not awarded credits I’ve earned by watching ads don’t appear then I’m definitely not taking the chance spending money buying credits for them to vanish as well… Please investigate this very annoying problem developers because I really like using your app to decorate my iPhone (currently usually iPhone 13 Pro Max on the latest iOS 15.1 Public Beta without any glitches appearing) ☹️

Amazing!
FINALLY! A wallpaper app that isn’t ruined by advertising! All I will say is that so many other apps will show you an advert every time you try to view an image, and it’s such a pain. This app will only show an ad every few images, and it doesn’t take ages to get out of the ad, nor does it force open your browser or App Store app to try and trick you into opening something you don’t want.
The wallpaper selection is phenomenal too, and if you find a particular image you like you can swipe up to see similar pictures. It’s SUCH a nice change to have an app that works well and doesn’t try to trick you. I’m really just so taken aback with how well it works!! 5 star product.

A great app
This is an amazing app and my go to for wallpapers (for my phone). I would love if there would be more ringtone options though, such as music artist or popular songs. Overall though, this a perfect app and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing
When I first download wallpaper apps they all say you have to pay to get any pictures but when I got this app I could get pictures of good quality straight away and you could pay if you wanted to but you didn’t have too

Perfect
The best wallpaper app I have used, it’s got loads of free content and higher end paid for content. All the content is extremely high quality images and the app is a joy to use and it looks cool to. Forgot the rest, Zedge is the best by miles.

So disappointing- only screen savers, no ringtones 😐
When will Zedge developers come up with a ringtones app for iPhone? I had this for my old Samsung phone & loved it. Best ringtone app ever. It’s such a shame you can’t get it for iPhone. I downloaded it because the description said screensavers and ringtones, but it isn’t 😞

Love the new personalise feature
Really love the app because there are so many different wallpapers and you can pretty much guarantee that there will be one for you. If the app were to be updated again I would love it if the personalise feature allowed you to type you own message and design some stickers. Overall the app works really well and the wallpapers look great on my iPhone

Zedge is an amazing app showing amazing wallpapers and incredible song choices to choose from for your ringtone including symphony, Castle on the hill and many more speaking of that actually when I load up the app it doesn't show options to either go to ringtones or notifications so I'm only stuck on wallpapers! I'm on a IPhone, please fix this bug!

Good but...
Personally I like all the wallpapers but it should be good to have the “make your own wallpaper” button Closer to where it shows when you start the app or since I had didn’t have it for a while I don’t know if it has a make wallpaper button so if it doesn’t can you add it.

Easily the best
Only a wallpaper app, but well worthy of a review. After trying lots of wallpaper apps and not being satisfied, this one has come up trumps. Images are sharpe and clear, and look amazing on the iPhone X and its OLED display. Great variation of images and the categories are brilliant. In my view, this is the best wallpaper app on the store. Glad I came across this one. Doesn't disappoint.

My friend had this app and I got it to see what it was like and I thought it would be one of them apps that doesn’t work and you have to pay but it’s completely free and the wallpapers are amazing they are for all ages and all genders .I personally love it 😍

Amazing
Zedge is an amazing app for new wallpapers and ringtones although you have to get the 2 separate things it is free and good quality graphics however you need internet to use it.
