Too many Brazilian and Ukrainian Russian streamers

When I first downloaded this app in 2018 there were tons of English speaking British or American streamers it has since become overrun with Brazilians and Eastern Europe streamers that barely know any English past send gifts and thank you. I can no longer bother watching any streams as it’s always the same. This app is clearly aimed at horny Indian dudes that don’t get the Brazilians don’t even want to know them at all.

Young me, was going through a hella lot of bullying at school, i always struggled to fit in, never had very many friends, everyone hated me, then one day i came across this advert

for this app saying something like “make friends, have fun” something like that, so gullible me installed the app, because i thought i’d meet people who wanted to be my friend, i didn’t see any age limit, back then, i was so innocent and gullible, i was on a live once i remember so many people joining and

saying “i’ll be your friend” young me, got soo happy, because nobodies ever wanted to be my friend, i wasn’t aware of “stranger danger” or anything to do with “online safety” etc

I didn’t know the red flags of grooming in fact i’d never heard of that stuff before, so anyways these people sounded nice at first, very trust worthy, and very kind, i explained to them that i was very lonely, being bullied, had no friends, depressed etc, they all seemed very nice and friendly but now i know it was a trick, they would trick me into doing stuff, that made me feel so uncomfortable and would threaten me and say “if you don’t do __ we won’t be ur friend” and stuff that’s much worse than that that im not even gonna repeat, as it’s just very vile etc, Lucky for the creeps, by the time the police searched my ipod (the device it all happened on) they were gone. this incident would make me 10x more depressed than i ever was, to the point where i attempted to unalive myself, there’s more to this story but i don’t wanna bore y’all, but now i understand, the dangers of online, and info about predators..

Please every be safe on this app and beware of the cautions of this app, if you were young like i was please, please DONT get this app, stay safe yall.

Horrible !!

There is just too much stuff happening on a live stream screen. Everyone seems to be focussed on coins and other nonsense. No one is interested in a decent human chat. Miss periscope, plain simple and it was really dope talking to people from different parts of the world and actually met some.

Could be better

Great app to chat to people and make friends. But bad app that if you suffer with Anxiety and as blocked someone that as upset you. You can't remove them from you're top fan list or stop them posting on you're Instagram posts that is linked to you're Account. So it just upsets you more. What is the point off the block button? Another thing is there is no delete account button anywhere on the app or the online site. When you email them for help. They never get back to you. Again great app but need updates to be perfect and better support.

After trying the app again. I can say it’s the worst app to use. Loads of Women doing silly things that I won’t say as it’s disgusting. Loads of weird people on the app and bullies. Not safe for anyone I say. People seem to love to mess you about all because they want coins! It’s sad really and because of this reason. I’m not using it any more. The app should be banned from the App Store.

A good app ruined.

Recently a new update meant that LiveMe will only allow you to broadcast if you show your face, if you don’t then the digital recognition system will shadow ban you and therefore you can be sitting waiting for viewers and nobody will arrive. This is terrible news for DJ’s who present radio shows and use our voices to gain fans or simply aiming the camera at countryside, beautiful locations, or show fans holiday destinations. With LiveMe it’s about the faces even though most broadcasters don’t even verbally communicate to viewers. The customer support is absolutely useless, they respond with robotic responses and they are unable to understand even basic English. Sadly, after 2 years broadcasting, I’ve now returned back to Periscope. With today’s society a very dangerous time, more than ever people want to talk but do not want to show faces for security reasons.

Banned for no reason.

When i was around 11, I always wanted to become a live streamer (13 now). So i hopped on and just wanted to have a good time. I got quite bored so I deleted the app. 2 years pass (present day) to find out that i have been banned from my account for violating the rules of the app. I have not done anything wrong. I haven’t caused harm or anything like that. Maybe someone hacked into my account. Please unban me.

Great for socialising, bad for long-term broadcasting

Okay I’m gonna go straight to the point, LiveMe is an application to use if you’re willing to spend time getting to know new people and enjoy streaming your talents, desires, hopes and ambitions open for discussion.

The problem is this: as you’re exposing yourself to the rest of the world, you’re always going to find someone or something bugging you when you least expect it. Topics include creeps, jealousy, hate, new words, disagreements and of course, money. It becomes a prolonged problem for the host over time and may also trigger you and/or anybody else to throw in the gold towel as a result of these issues.

Nonetheless, it is a satisfactory effort but I think more security and privacy is needed. Maybe even limit viewers or filter comments so that only a certain number of participants can see a fair result.

Shocking App

I’ve been on this app more nearly 3 years now and it gets worse as time progress. The amount of verbal abuse that is given out across the app is vile. Nothing is ever done about it. You as a team fail to read any Emails/Enquires of anyone who uses your app on a daily basis, but only choose to care about anything said of those who are higher up. Which I find appalling. If you are going to run an app as open as this then you need to take into consideration the amount of things you are failing to do!! :-)

Gets old very quickly

I’ve been on the app for about 18 it was okay at first. After a while you’ll notice the app consists of dirty men asking female broadcasters to flash, dance provocatively or to show their feet. And most the these dirty men seem to come from the same part of the world! It also consists of young girls who are there purely to receive gifts, convince you to buy their “premium Snapchat” or purely for an ego boost. There a very few genuine broadcasters on the app, everyone is using as a steppingstone to something else. And if you have a child (under 18) DO NOT let them on to this app it is NOT safe for under 18s

They don’t delete your account.

I downloaded LIVEME and found out it wasn’t for me. So on the 12th of February 2019 I requested to LIVEME to delete my account via the sites instructions. Since then each week I’ve sent an email to remind them my account has still not been deactivated nor deleted. All I get is auto-email replies. So word of warning, if you download this app and don’t want it’, it will never be deleted with your request. Ps I still send emails each week till this day. I will delete this comment once my account closes.

Weak app

App with a lot of bugs. Firstly, this app kills battery very quickly. Secondly, this app is stucking phone for few seconds and you cannot close or do any other options at all. Thirdly, this app is making extra sound even if phone is on absolute silence.

So i’m loving this app so much but for some reason i’ve been kicked out of it and i don’t know why so i think u should get this app but just be prepared after a while it might kick you out even when you haven’t done anything!

Don’t get if your new to it

I’ve had the app for a long time it’s ok but if anything goes wrong there support team is so bad they never help you and never listen to what you have to say.

As for gamers they don’t help them and never feature them as they should.

Overall I think twitch is better and that’s saying something.

I’ve spent a bit of money on this app and I get banned for literally just chilling in my broadcasts, I play music and chat to my viewers that all I do but nope I’ve literally been banned for nothing at all best thing about it is liveme officials can’t give me a reason to why the have banned me. Save your money don’t waste it on this app and save memory by not downloading it

Constant notifications

Constant useless notifications is a sure way to get your app deleted, I only had the notifications on so I could be notified when someone was online. Instead I’m inundated with notifications that are basically spam. Developers like this are pure cancer and you know their product must be awful if they resort to these tactics to get people on the app. Plenty of other apps reserve the notifications just for notifications, not spam. You need to implement a way I can turn these off

Shocking

Administration basically does nothing in regards protecting vulnerable underage, Ive reported a lot of adults and so far administration have done nothing, you can still see their profiles and they’re active and videos with underage being groomed are still there, or they take ages to delete them. Stay away and do something productive with your life.

This what people been talking about all covered and needs the app to be able to do

Think people should be put on the board more so more people come to their broadcast I think bots should share and I think they should give at least one big coin gift and some likes I think lurks need be told not to and people promoted to talk and that there should be thing on live where your Facebook while u live can be showed if u wish and u can have multiple group chat at lower level I do think broadcasters need be given somethings to do coin drops mean people getting greedy and not gifting coins as much and it’s annoying a lot people other that I do love this app and it connects people who can’t travel out their countries and to connect them to bigger world do think also age limit needs to be put to legal age of 16 for most countries or least to 18 and the rules for showing certain things like flesh should be in some respect allowed but a thing that’s put on when broadcast is done so the broadcaster can say this is a over 18 only broadcast enter at your own risk. I think it up the ratings and lot more.

Great app but has its negatives

This app has brought some fantastic people into my life but has also taught me alot about trusting so easily!! I made some friends for life thats for sure. I would recommend anyone to use this app as it gives you the opportunity to talk to different people and like i said make friends for!! Live me was my favourite live-streaming app for about 5 months now I have got about 7k fans which is okay compared to most, now I’m a male which means I get little or no attention in the app if you area female but Daddy issues or don’t care about showing off your body then you’ll enjoy it you’ll get plenty of gifts. If you are a adult and have kids and they are using the app get them off it there is so many sick men and females on it DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS ON THIS APP

Its alright

The bots are a stupid obnoxious feature that needs to be removed. Nobody likes bots, you can never tell when actual real people are watching/ talking to you or if its all just bots really annoying. If they remove bots the app would be so much better and I'd happily use it more often

Regarding The Bots

Regardless what ppl say bots help us smaller bc to get some viewers in but I think if a bot could share the bc and maybe like and give maybe 4-50 coins to random broadcasters it increases our chance of staying on the app I like the recent changes you guys have made. The only negative would be taking half our diamonds for converting to coins we already paid for the coin your making twice on the same set of coins but nevertheless a good platform for live streaming.
